As a working magician, I rely heavily on Jon and Steve to keep me abreast of what's new, what's hot and what's not in the realm of magic - and no one does it better! I also rely on them to treat the youngsters I send their way like V.I.P.s. These novice magi are just discovering the incredible art of theatrical magic. They could easily be taken advantage of and cheated in countless ways. But, I can always count on Jon's honesty and devotion to the art and the kids. Don't let this treasure shop fade away! Forget the Internet and buy your magic and costumes from The Magic Corner!
# As a professional magician, I find the Magic Corner invaluable. Jon carries a large selection of magic/clown props and costumes too. He caters to the 6 year old to the full-time pro. Jon is very knowledgeable and will provide you with accurate information and steer you in the best direction. His prices are very good, and so is his personal touch. Whether you are looking for something for a child or a teen, or looking for some magic to entertain friends, or you are a pro, the Magic Corner is the place to go.
Very small store that is not a good place to try and take little children (too much to grab or get into, no room for a stroller), but a bit of fun for those slightly older. The clerk (owner?) took the time to show us several tricks, which my daughter thoroughly enjoyed. Lots of little inexpensive novelties, tricks and gags. Also carries costume stuff, clowning and juggling supplies.
Wow!! How lucky are we to have an old time magic shop right here in Raleigh. Here you will find all kinds of neat stuff, magic, pranks, costumes, juggling, make up and more. The reason the Magic Corner is so great is that you will find stuff here that can't be found anywhere else in town. If you or someone you know likes Criss Angel or David Blaine you have to come check out their secrets. The owner, John, is very knowledgable about magic and costumes/makeup. It can be a little crowded at times , because he is the only one working, but it is worth the time to wait for him to help you.
Pros: Rare items knowledgable customer service
