My old Intertherm mobile home heat pump which was install by Butler heating and air in 1996 finally died. The condenser cooling fan came apart. There were no new fan blades available, so I decided to go with a new unit, as I just put over $900.00 in the unit last winter. The auxiliary/emergency heating coils went bad and had to be replaced, among some other small items. With the unit 14 years old and the life expectancy 15 to 16 years I figured I needed to replace. I had been saving some money for about a year and a half and had much of what was needed already. I had a larger than normal tax refund due to buying a hybrid car with a $1500.00 tax credit. I told Tims heating and air to replace the old unit. They replaced my old unit with a Rheem 3.5 tom 14 seer heat pump. It ran about 1 week and then I had to call out Tims to replace the defrost board, which happened right away and was covered under warranty.
With the new thermostat, this new unit is amazing! Even when the nights go down into the lower 30's to below freezing, and into the mid to lower 20's this new unit keeps the house nice and toasty,( around 72 to73 DEGF.). This new unit even has a chance to shut off from time to time, instead of running 24/7
Sofar I LOVE this new RHEEM Heat Pump, and I can recommend Tims Heating and Air Conditioning wholeheartedly!
By the way their installation people are OUTSTANDING, and do a superb job in the installation, and manufacturing of duct work and air plenum boxes. These people are expert and professional sheet metal workers.

This business is locally owned and operated by incredibly nice people! The response to our emergency was quick and reasonably priced. Although our family does not look forward to needing further repairs, should we need service in the future, we will not hesitate to use Tim's.
