The Family Lodge is a great place to live... Decent price, maintenance takes care of problems quickly, nice people at the office. I've seen some pictures floating around of the apartments, and they must've remodeled since they were taken, because the new apartments are really nice. It's really close to everything too, which is nice since gas is expensive.

In my experience, The Family Lodge is a great apartment complex. The people at the office are friendly, they take care of maintenance problems quickly, and the apartments look nice. The pictures available are old... The apartments there

My two children and I lived here for two months. We had problems from day one. My first hint should have been that they ONLY take cash. The day we moved in there were still constructin materials in the second bedroom from where they had "fixed" the leak in the roof. They had tracked the white construction mudd in everyroom. They had not put the vent up in the upstairs bedroom. It was sitting on the counter. They hadn't even bothered to take down the one in the downstairs bathroom. It was cracked and was hanging off the celing with tons of dust and spider webs on it. My door had been kicked in and they changed the locks, painted over it and called it good to go. even though the deadbolt they put in only had a key lock on the outside and there are glass panel that can be easily broken right at the lock. My "lock" for the glass sliding door was a piece of wood. Of the 8 weeks we lived there they put 5 notices on my door. Mostly about money that we owed that I had already paid. I was one day late on the electic bill and the put an eviction notice on my door at 6pm on a friday that didn't even stay on my door..the neighbor found it on her front step. They were kicking us out even though I had turn in a a move out notice and were moving in 5 days'!' While we were living there the cops were called to own section of homes 3 to 4 times a week. There was one incident where there was a very large man walkin in my back yard with a hand gun in his pants. Just about every day there were people who would walk through the woods (that did not live in the apts.) to sit on the low brick walls diangonal from my back yard to drink and smoke pot. The cops could never catch them because they would take off running through the woods. When I moved out I was charged $417. $75 to replace the verticle blinds because my 1 yr old broke ONE blind $75 to clean the stove because there was one scortch mark (these are $3 to replace at walmart) $120 to "professional clean the carpets). They also told me that the refrigerator was dirty even though it was brand new when the put it in my apt and I didn't even take the plastic off the shelves or drawers. They told me that there was "rice" in my cabinets even though i never unpacked my food..i didn't have room. She said that there was pee on the toliet down stairs...how ther is pee all over a toilet when there is a 24 yr WOMAN and a baby living there i will never know ( my other child was gone for the summer). There were also MUSHROOMS!!! growing out of the carpet in the second bedroom..I hadnt noticed because i only used that bedroom for storage. The first night I was there my husband called me to ask how it was and I was in tears. This is not a safe or clean place for a family. The only reason we didn't move out immediately was because we were closing on our house. I would have much rather lived in an extended stay hotel for those two months. You can go down the road and pay $100 more a month, have a gated community, pay with a card, and a pool.. this place is not worth the cheap rent!!!

We have lived in the Family Lodge Apartment 2 bedroom townhome for just over 3 months now. It is not luxury living, but the bedrooms are very large, and the price is low. The management is friendly and helpful, and the maintenance workers are quick.

I would definitely recommend these to someone moving to the area!
