I am so happy that I chose this preschool for my 4 year old. The teachers and assistants are wonderful. They really care deeply about the children and view them as individuals. Since it's a parent-participatory school, a parent is required to help out once or twice a month in the class. It's been a wonderful experience and I feel that I appreciate the school even more by seeing how they interact with the children. I love that their focus is to allow the children to learn through play and exploration. It is very age appropriate and teaches them so much more than worksheets or memorization ever could.
Lynn, the director, has an obvious passion for her job and her calm presence really sets the tone for the whole school.

the teachers are great- the parents are involved- the kids are happy! This is not a school that will push academics or getting ready for kindergarten before your child is ready. The school believes that children learn best through playing . By the end of the year- the teacher's are reaping the benefits of their hard work trying to get the class to share, take turns, be social! All teachers have degrees and most have their own children at the school. since the enrollment is about 50 everyone knows you and your child- making you feel welcome and involved!

Pros: environment

Cons: older school
