Toreros food is beyond parallel any Mexican restaurant in town. The burritos, taco, enchiladas, and fajitas so decilious and flavorful. The price is unbeatable for the portions you receive.

Healthy & Fresh
by Elle J.
I've had a lot of Mexican food in my day, but Torero's is one of the best. I've had their fajitas, burritos, mexican pizza, beef tacos, and their flan. The prices are great, the service is great, the serving sizes are huge, and the taste is incredible. As good as the entrees are, I'd happily go there just for dessert -- for more of their flan. If you go to Torero's you must get their flan. It would be just plain illegal not to. Oh, have I mentioned that their flan is great?

When it comes to ethnic foods, one should consider if persons from that ethnicity eat in the establishment. Well...here they do! It is just like Momma made it! Food is great. The portions are large. Even the plates are above average.
The prices are great. A family of four can easily lunch for $15. Dinner costs will be $20-25. Well worth it.

My Favorite Mexican lunch spot, also good for a draft brew
by TJ R.
If you like a good lunch value, you must go to Toreros. Their lunch specials put generic mexican resteraunts to shame. $5 will get you a meal that can't be beat. They have an excelent vegetarian lunch menu, as well as great meat dishes. Also, they have daily drink specials ($1.50 Dos Equies Amber on Friday!). The only downside is that they are so good that they tend to be slugish at peak lunch time (go to lunch early or late) especially on Friday.
PROS: Price, Taste
CONS: Slow service at lunch

Being from the Southwest, I have a hard time finding "good" mexican food here in North Carolina. Having said that, I have found a great place with good food and good portions. The chips aren't all that - but the salsa is pretty good. I love the chunky texture, without it tasting like it was previouly canned/bottled. The service has been pretty good, some times better than others.
I would eat here again...and again..and again... ;)
PROS: Good tasting salsa, food dishes are pretty authentic
CONS: Not a chain...
