Went to this studio for the first time and compared it to the other studios I've been to in the past (Wal-mart, Olan Mills, Sears). My family takes pictures at least twice a year so I have a lot of experience. I enjoyed the prices for packages that include CDs (69.99 was the cheapest 3 poses 3 sheets each pose) and the hour long session. The employees were also nice and the studio was clean. Those are all the positive remarks I have for this studio. During our session, the photographer did not ask if I had any pose ideas, she was not flexible at all with me suggesting things and her angles were off in most of the pictures. I have a baby and there was another employee to help make her smile and she failed at her job. When I voiced my concern about my unhappy child and suggested that I, her mother, get her to smile I was ignored. My family also has black hair, most of our pictures were taken in a black background and they look horrible. The props were tacky and I was, again, unable to voice my opinion of them or choose my own props. In 99% of the family frames that were taken, my son was clearly 2 feet away from the rest of the family. They made no attempt to adjust the height of the family so that we looked even in the picture. During the time we were able to choose our photos, the photographer did not offer or suggest boarders or vingnettes or additional effects to the pictures. We were rushed through this portion (which is bad to say because I'm a professional at this part and usually go fast myself) and I ended up with a few decent poses (19 out of 126 frames to be exact). I believe we would have had more if they sized the family up correctly and stopped attempting to get my daughter to smile (they only made her cry). I also did not want the 9.95 package they offered but the photographer added onto the bill anyway. I did not notice this until I got my pictures because I was unfamiliar with the prices since it was my first time with this company. So I suggest if you don't want or ONLY want the 9.95 package please voice this. I prefer to see a professional photographer but I can't afford $200+ twice a year. I plan to invest in my own DSLR camera. Overall, decent prices if you like to get the CD in your packages, probably the cheapest place for CD packages but they are only worth it if your photos are good. However, compared to the other studios I've been to, I would go here first.

I have been to PI multiple times since the twins were born. I have always left with way more pictures then I intended to buy. I have always had a good photographer who has been patient with my twins. If pictures didn't turn out, it was alway because of my guys acting up.

Prices are great and you get your pics the same day!

Portrait Innovations offered us poor service while we were there. We had an appointment but were told when we arrived that it would be at least an hour before they could get to us. We rescheduled and went back the next day. After a shorter wait they took our daughter's pictures. They rushed through the shoot and stuck us in front of a computer screen. The girl hurried us along while making our choices and we left with pictures we aren't happy with and didn't get the ones we really wanted.

We felt they were very unprofessional and the quality of the pictures is poor. I will not use them again.

Family pictures scare me, I hate even thinking about it. But, it was well over due so I made an appointment. The soonest appointment they had was several weeks away, but we took it.

We have five children, ages 5 months to 8 years old. We did have to wait awhile when we got there because they were very busy. So the twins (2 years old) were very grumpy by the time we had our turn. These people took TWO screaming and tantruming children from meltdown to smiles in no time. The pictures turned out amazing and I was in awe at how well they handled the children!

When the pictures were done, we sat at a large screen computer and got to pick from almost 60 different pictures they had taken. We picked a large package and paid almost $200.00. The best part was that we left with out printed pictures just 15 minutes after we had chosen them. No returning to pick up pictures 2 weeks later for us! $200 can be expensive for pictures, but we picked lots of poses and left with a stack of picures over an inch thick. We will definately go back many times to Portrait Innovations!
