It's really too bad that it has come to having to write a bad review on this outfit - but you can only give them so many chances. Have had multiple problems and witnessed others have multiple problems with Prestige Auto Spa in Wakefield Plantation. 1st time I took my high end sports car there shortly after they opened, the owner damaged one $600.00 rim. He did make good and gave me free car washes for 1 year. Would have rather he just replaced the rim as due to my schedule I didn't even come close to recouping the money. Several months after that, one of the latino workers drove over the (much too high) yellow speed bump at the end of their wash track - scraping the bottom bad and then running the right front bumper cover (it sits low) into the curb as they turn the car left out of the wash tunnel. They never did fix this as the place was closed and sold right after that happened. Then after reopening/new owner, took one old Ford Explorer work truck to be detailed - was charged over $100.00 and there was compound residue everywhere, dirt still on the carpet, bugs on the front end and the top not even touched - the excuse was they ran out of time. They took off $20.00 and still made me pay the remaining. Since it was not the usual guy I had used, I gave them another chance when they said they would not let it happen again. Went back with another work truck and they did an excellent job. Was very happy. They suggested to come back to remove acid rain spots and I did. Left truck for whole day - spots not removed and received truck back with most of windows scratched badly. Was told they used a buffer on the window glass. Asked them to replace a few pieces per glass shop quote. They delayed for a month and then claimed it was not their fault. I offered to compromise and asked just to pay for "1" piece (the worst one - approx $160) and they refused. The window glass had no scratches/buffer marks before they used buffer on glass. It wasn't about the money but the principal. My opinion is the owner (who claims he is a RET NY PD) has no interest in customer satisfaction. I have also witnessed several other incidents of other customers having problems with their cars (not done correctly/lack of attention to detail) - more so since the new owner/management took over. I am sure many have not had problems but if you do you might not have much luck having them take care of your issue to your satisfaction. Be sure to check your paint for scratches/damage from the workers rubbing your car with dirty rags or hitting it with other objects.

Months after that, one of the workers drove over the yellow speed bump at the end of their wash track - scraping the bottom bad & running the right front bumper cover (it sits low) into the curb adjacent to the wash tunnel. They never fixed this as the place was closed and sold soon after. After reopening, took one old work truck to be detailed - charged over $100.00 and there was compound residue everywhere, dirt on carpet, grime on front end and the top not even touched. Excuse was they ran out of time. They took off $20.00 and still made me pay the balance. Since it was not the usual detailer, I gave them another chance when they PROMISED would not let it happen again. Went back with another work truck & they did an excellent job & suggested I return for removal of glass acid rain spots. Returned & left truck for 1 day - spots not removed & received truck back w/most of windows scratched badly. Was told they used a buffer on the window glass. Pros: Sometimes they might do a good job - they did several times when they knew I was watching.

Cons: If you ever have a problem - don't expect good resolution. Watch for damage to your car!

I brought my car to Prestige Auto Spa . I am extremely cautious about where I take my car .They exceeded my expectations in service . They have a very professional staff and a pleasant establishment. They send me coupons all the time that are useful. I think this is one of the best Car Wash's around Raleigh.
