A great store for quality stones and beads. I love it here and the selection is second to none in the area. Biggest store in the area and the prices are good.

This is Kathleen Reeder, and I own The Bead Lady in downtown Concord. I just want all of our customers and potential customers to know that we are very competitive when is comes to our prices vs. the big box stores. Several times a year we actually go to the craft stores and inventory what they have and their prices. 9 times out of 10 we are lower by price or you get a longer strand for the same or a lesser amount of money. We want everyone to know that we are very approachable when it comes to prices. If you feel that we are too high on an item that you've seen somewhere else, we will be more than happy to help you get the product that you want for equal or lesser value, if we can financially do it. Also, we do a lot of custom ordering...if there is a product that you use a lot, we will be more than happy to get you a bulk rate. We are here to help, and to make your bead hobby an enjoyable one. This store has a very good selection but I did find it a bit expensive on some items. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Makes for a good browsing.

I really like going to the Bead Lady. Very nice owner!There is a really great selection, but she is way over priced. Unless I am needing something right away, I usually order from online stores, but in a pinch she's very convenient.

Excellent store for experienced beaders

During a visit with family in Concord, I asked if there were any bead stores in the area. Lo and behold there was one right in Concord! I have been an enthusiastic beader for several years and always make an effort to visit local bead stores wherever I travel. The Bead Lady is by far the best bead store I have visited so far because of their extensive selection of high quality beads and their pleasant and helpful salespeople. Some of my favorite creations have been made with beads from The Bead Lady and I can't wait to stop in again on my next visit to North Carolina.

I hope these Charlotte area beaders know about the Bead Lady. One of the best shops I have been in for several months for I travel for a living and bead for stress relief. This shop has it all! Top notch in service, beads, gemstones, findings, and overall price and layout for a complete bead shop. It's a big store and better than any big box store.
I will come here again and again when I'm in the area for their prices & quality are great. I wish I lived in the area for I would shop here often. It didn't take me long to get there from the airport and parking was easy in the deck behind the store. The downtown area is great also to spend the day to eat and shop.
Pros: variety, very friendly service, and safe area to visit.
Cons: none. I wish I had it in my home town.

I was actually pleased with my experience the other day with this colorful and comfortable corner shop called the Bead Lady. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by "The Bead Lady", who dropped what she was doing to come and help me. I responded that I just wanted to take a look around since it was my first time in the store. There were about 6 or 7 rooms filled with different kinds of unique beads and they even had different types of wire, leather, and clasps. Amazing~they had so much to choose from! Not only did I ended up leaving with a cute necklace that was previously made by one the shop girls, but I also left with some beautiful genuine gemstones, and with an idea for my next craft project!
Kudos to the Bead Lady.

Best bead store in the area.

To go to the store is not a disappointment for it is worth the trip. Its a big store with room to bead if you want to. It is a must see.
