I started king's college in september 2013 on a recommendation from my sister in law who graduated from the medical assisting program with honors as well as a job. I knew that this was the school for me. I entered into the Office Administration program because i've always been interested in pursuing a carrer in business. The process was made easy by the staff, they make sure you understand everything and help you with all the paperwork and enrollment process. The classes were relevant to the program you chose they get right to the point and going to class is like going to work. It's very simulated to feel like your work environment will feel and the classes are small enough so that you will have great one on one instruction. Ms. Nixon is my program manager and she's great! I've enjoyed my time here and will be graduating in december 2014 with my associates degree in office administration. Placement was awesome as well! They helped me get a job before graduation that fit my criteria as well as my personality. If you're debating choosing King's College look no further if you want a quality education, great staff, wonderful teachers, and awesome placement staff who work hard to get you a job right before you graduate or when you graduate.

My experience at King's College was a great one. This school is special because from Day 1 you are in an environment that is hands on, Fast Paced, and straight to the point. It was a great platform to start my career. The teachers were great and they didn't just teach but they actually cared about the students and their individual successes. The Placement department is great and they worked with me to obtain me a couple of great opportunities. I can say honestly that King's overall was great. It definitely is not a place for a person who isnt self motivated or a person who is lazy but a place for people who want to work hard make a difference and make THEIR OWN life better.

In my opinion, my personal experience while attending King??s College was great. I was enrolled in the Medical Assisting Degree program and after completing the program, I definitely felt both prepared and properly equipped with all the skills I would need in order to be successful within a job of my field. The courses that I took while studying at King??s were definitely challenging. Managing my time and prioritizing on the daily basis were the top two most essential things that I had to do in order to be successful while attending the school. One of the main things that I really enjoyed while attending King??s College, were all the hands on clinical classes that I had such a privilege to partake in. The instructors at the school were definitely more then knowledgeable about the subjects they taught. It was certainly refreshing to see such a high measure of both enthusiasm and dedication that the instructors genuinely had for their students. Also the placement department was phenomenal at helping me find my first job in the medical field. Over all, I would surely recommend this school for any student who is interested in pursuing a career that will give them a head start within the medical field.

In my opinion disregard every negative comment you see. Before I came here I read some very negative reviews so I was skeptical about coming here. Let??s just say this was the best choice I made to start my career. I recently graduated in December of 2010. The faculty and staff are great and the placement department is AWESOME! The placement department placed me into a full time job in about 2 months. That may sound like a long time, but it really isn??t. And they work so hard to place you in interviews. I literally had at least 2 calls a week from placement asking about a job I would be interested in to set up an interview. Now take in to fact it is not all up to placement to place you in a job. You have to do some hard work to like preparing for your interview; make sure you dress appropriately, and etc. Also when they are not setting up interviews for you it is your job to go out there and try your hardest to find one yourself. I think this is where people get mixed up thinking that it is all up to placement because it isn??t. I now work as a marketing specialist for a private investigation firm full time with benefits. I graduated with my A.A.S in graphic design and I am able to put those skills to use by designing logos, managing the website, putting together brochures, and etc. The price is a little pricey, but hey what education is now days? Also a lot of people turn away from King??s because the credits are ??not transferable?. That isn??t always the case I wanted to further my education by getting a bachelors degree after I graduated here. I now take online classes at a school and ALL of my credits transferred to that school. In some cases they may not transfer, but you just have to call around and see. This college may not be for you, but if you think it is then don??t let the negative comments make your decision for you. You have to try it out for yourself and see.

Faculty is really good. Staff is friendly. Tuition is too high! Placement is bogus, a sham. Do you earn a degree? Sort of. Can you earn a bachelor's? NO, nothing is transferable. These aren't really credits, think of it as earning a VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE CERTIFICATE. And if you think you can get through life on a certificate, you're not in the real world.

Most of the people here who gave Kings a wonderful rating mostly lied or say it as a paid blogger who advertises to earn money. I graduated from Kings College as an actual student, I graduated on the deans list and yes I had it all going on. I had a really great GPA, but to be honest other than great teachers and one-on-one learning, after you get your diploma and degree you will soon find out that a simple associates degree will never get you a job any where. I am still currently unhired and so much of the placement staff that promises me a job, its not working. Believe me as a student who recently graduated from Kings, I would not choose this school. I ask for those who do the research please take this into mind and go to a real college that offer a bachelors degree. Now I am currently working as a server who makes nothing and I owe this greedy school so much money. If I were you go to UNCC or a real college or community college and take up their tuition fees becuase in the end you will be better suited after graduating than I am in debt becuase of Kings College greedy lies. Thank you and your research about this will help you more than should have done.

The good reviews on the page are fake. Everything about this school is a lie. Admission lies to get you in the door, FA lies to push you through and placement lies about positions not being available and even lies on records of placements. This school is a JOKE!

King's College is A Great school to go to. The teachers are very committed to making sure that not only you have the tools to succeed in the job world, but also the mind set. I think the biggest thing they need to work on is the placement dept. the job I found is not in my field and king's college didn't help me to get it. However, I did use my degree and the professional skills I learn to help me excel in the company, and now I am working tremendously closer to my actual degree. It is very expensive, but depending on what you do with what you have learned, it can very well be worth it.

During my experience at King's College from the start was also a great one where I was able connect to teachers and other faculty members on a personal and professional level. Going into King's I worked a full-time job and needed something that would be fast-paced that would still allow me to receive everything I would need to succeed in the workplace. King's College was different from other schools because the instructors were experienced within the fields they taught so they weren't just reading from a textbook they also could relate with real life experiences. As far as preparing me for the workplace King's did a great job instilling specific values needed for me to succeed such as professionalism, proper email ettiquette and most importantly dress code. One thing that let me towards King's over other institution was the fact that they had a job placement program that would work with you to ensure that you find employment within your field. Upon graduation the job placement department (Sarah Rothman) worked with me directly to find employment. Approaching graduation I went out on four interview set-up by the placement department and received to offers. My current job stemmed from one of those interviews and I have been with the company for over a year. Great overall experience from start to finish.

I truly enjoyed my time at Kings College. I found the teachers very willing and able to help me through all my classes. They went beyond the call of duty to make sure I would succeed and be well prepared for the work place. Kings was extremely helpful after I graduated. I went on several interviews that showed the promise of going far. I am very grateful to Kings and the staff there.

Good program, one-on-one teacher/student relationships, and a diploma in one year. Can't argue with that. Placement Dept also extremely dedicated and conscientious, always looking for opportunities to place King's graduates. I had a job within a month of graduating, so I am extremely grateful to King's College.

I graduated from Kings in 1986 & wouldn't trade it for the world! I have been employed as a paralegal ever since! 24 years of working has more than paid for itself, over and over and over! It has been the foundation for supporting my family all these years and will continue for many more years to come. Compared to a 'traditional' college, it really prepares you for the 'real working world'! I would recommend it to anyone looking to get started in their career pdq & start earning money! Compare the cost of it & the time to the cost of a 4 yr college and there is no comparison - Kings is the best choice!

Best faculty! They all have a Master's Degree so they know what they are talking about. They are caring and desire to see you succeed and excel in your academics. The classes are small so you really get that one-on-one attention when needed. The placement department helped me find a job I really wanted. They didn't just send me to one interview. They sent me to many interviews and helped me prepare for them. They followed up with me and encouraged me to go after the jobs I really liked. Thanks King's!

The Network Administration is really great at King's College. I got real hands-on and a good quality education. Their books are current and the teachers know the curriculum. The school is worth going to! They really care about the students in their school. I feel like I have learned so much! It's worth every penny!

Kings College is way too expensive. The people who interview for admissions make you feel like you really don't deserve to be there. If you are not a strong person, they will easily discourage you. If I could do it again, I would choose another school. Kings just cost too much.

King's College is a great establishment! I started the Office Administration program in 2009 and recently finished the program in October of this year. The Admissions process was great! They helped explain all of the financial aspects of the institution and helped with financial aid. My program manager assisted me throughout my program and the professors at King's give their students attention that would be lacking from a normal college atmosphere. The last step at King's is going through the placement department. I had a great experience with the placement department. They set up many interviews for me and didn't stop until I had a great job. Now I have and education, a great new career, and a bright future thanks to King's College!

King's College was a wonderful experience! Great atmosphere, small classes, hands on training and a faculty and staff that really cared about me. They wanted to see that I graduated from King's College and further my career successfully!! I did just that!! I can't say enough for the placement department at King's College. They helped me with my resume and interviewing skills so that I was confident in getting the job I wanted. I received the best job thanks to the placement department. King's College made me into the professional woman that I am today in my career and life. I would not be where I am if it were not for the wonderful staff and faculty at King's College. My daughter is a graduate of King's College and it was the best decision for her. She graduated in a short period of time and was offered a position with a law firm before her graduation! King's is a wonderful school that teaches not only the career skills but also teaches professionalism and business ethics. The Placement Department worked with her very closely and found her a job with a large law firm in Charlotte. I highly recommend this school for anyone seeking a career in the Paralegal field. This school really cared about my daughter. My daughter's friend also graduated from King's and was very pleased as she found a great job too!

I attended King's College right after graduating high school. It was the best decision I ever made!! The classes were small which was great because I was able to get individualized attention. The instructors and staff were so nice and very knowledgeable. They had an open door policy where you could go and talk with them at any time and they always made you feel welcomed. Everyone at King's was so nice and never made you feel like you were just a number like some other colleges do. I was so happy at King's and looked forward to going everyday.

King's College found me a great job with a very large and well-known company. I have been actively working in the field that I graduated from for over 20 years now and have succeeded in every aspect.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND King's to anyone and it was well worth the money I spent. THANK YOU, KING'S COLLEGE.

Upon graduating high school, I attended two semesters at UNC-Charlotte. The required coursework was basic and, as in high school, on a broad spectrum in comparison to what I wanted to do with my life. The professors were cold, distant, and could care less about you or whether you attended class or failed or passed your classes. I then attended King's College in a cooperative program and was able to intern at a Fortune 500 company while attending classes at King's College. The staff and instructors were professional and they cared about me as an individual. The classes were smaller and more individualized. The instructors worked with me when I was struggling and encouraged me in many positive ways. I was placed in my first career position in a law firm in Charlotte where I remained employed for over 9 years. I could not have succeeded as I have in my career without the education I received from King's College and I would HIGHLY recommend the school! With regard to expense...you get what you pay for!

I was placed in my first career position in a law firm in Charlotte where I remained employed for over 9 years. I could not have succeeded as I have in my career without the education I received from King's College and I would HIGHLY recommend the school! With regard to expense...you get what you pay for!

I am so happy I found King's College. I was really interested in going to school for a short amount of time in order to start my career. My time at King's went by so fast and I didn't have to waste time taking courses that didn't relate to my field of interest. The placement department helped me to find a job before I even graduated and I have been working and gaining experience in my field ever since then...(over 5 years ago)! I would highly recommend this school to any of my friends.

I would not recommend King's to anyone. My daughter attended, paid WAY too much for her degree and most of the colleges will not accept her credits toward a more advanced degree. She is basically in debt for almost $20,000 for a useless degree. Forget their "great" placement program. I know at least 4 students in her program who were placed in the same small medical office and it is just an intolerable place to work. I think it is just a way to boost their placement percentage. My daughter is back in school at a community college where she should have gone to begin with.

Kings College is way too expensive. The people who interview for admissions make you feel like you really don't deserve to be there. If you are not a strong person, they will easily discourage you. If I could do it again, I would choose another school. Kings just cost too much.

. I am a 1990 graduate of Kings College Secretarial Science/Paralegal program. At that time, we only received a diploma that was given clout as a real degree. Unfortunately, Kings College is not accredited. Therefore the 15 month program wasn't really worth it to some degree. Yes, I was taught professionalism and a series of work-effective principles. I was employed immediately after graduation, but without a degree I would still have to start over. Now in hindsight, I would have never gone to Kings College.

I attended Kings College in 1975-76. I was enrolled in the Business Program (Medical Secretary). I found the experience at Kings College to be excellent. The curriculum was very structured, covered a large body of business courses and skills and very professional in its presentation. It prepared me for the business world and was immediately able to find employment after graduating. I became employed by the Bendix Corporation and it was the administrative skills that I had obtained at Kings College that opened the door to my professional career. I am very grateful for my education and experience at Kings College; I loved it! I was so impressed by the Teachers and their professionalism. There was one Teacher that stands out in my mind even today. She was an excellent professional role model for me.

This college is very experienced with recruitment. But when compaired to CMCC which is much less expensive and their courses carry over to getting a more advanced degree. I would choose another school. You pay 20.000 at Kings compaired to 4000 or 5000 at community college and your education is certainly a lot better. But if your looking to put I got an associates degree on a resume and pay for it for 10 years this is a good place for you!

I was wondering if the CMA program is good at Kings College because I feel like I am in a way being forced to go there. I have heard that you go through certain hospitals, and sign a contract to work for them for a certain amount of time, that they will pay for your tuition. If anyone happens to know how to do this, or has any advice for me i would greatly appreciate this.

I have nothing to compare this program with but I do not feel I was prepared for the tasks of a Medical Assistant in a real practice. I felt rushed through the clinical aspects of the program at the expense of dull and frustrating English grammar classes. The administrative portion of the program did not cover half of the topics required by the CMA exam. Whenever we did have the opportunity to complete surveys to give feedback, insufficient time was allotted and we had no advance notice to let us gather our thoughts. Teachers seemed to trivialize the concerns of dedicated students. I grabbed the first job that came up because the placement office did not give me cause for optimism.

Kings College is a fairly expensive school, they are also pretty rigorous when it comes to admissions. I had to jump through several hoops to get ?admitted? to take a few classes. The quality of the courses was high, but not what I expected given the price tag. Overall, I feel that you can get the same kind of education for almost half the price at other Charlotte area schools.

Don't waste your time getting a loan for this school. 1. It's overpriced. 2. You're not earning a real degree. 3. Admissions has to meet a quota to get enough students to come here. 4.

King's is not at all what you may think. They are very good at recruiting students but PLEASE do your research before you decide to go there! All the credits from courses taken there are non transferrable, meaning that you may get an associates degree, but your stuck with that. The classes and work are way too easy. They have a super strict attendance policy, (God forbid you get sick). Basically, for what you have to pay ($20K or more) it's a giant waste of time. I have 6 months left until I graduate and feel that I have not learned anything more than I knew when I started, but I'll be paying this off for the next 10 years! You're definitely better off going to a community college, in fact, I'm going back to one when I finish Kings.....

Cons: expensive, non transferrable, strict, WAY too easy

I am in the Network Administration and I really regret going to King's College. I thought I would get real hands on and a good quality education. I knew not to expect anything great since it is a 2 year college, but ever since I started, I've had nothing but complaints! They use old books (still learning about 2000 and XP!), and teachers (I won't say which) don't know the curriculum. The school is not worth going to! Many other students and I went to the administration to complain but didn't get any answers! They just sat there and shook their heads like if they understood! Then the week after, they asked us to make a school film to promote King's College! They really don't care about the students in their school, all their interested is in the money. I feel like I haven't learned anything and 36 Grand in the hole!

Pros: You get a free computer (kind of).

Cons: Too many to point out.
