To Jaunita H. (possibly a staff member of the school)

I was reviewing the comments here and yours stood out the most. The fact that the parent was late to pick up her child does not justify leaving a 3 year old child in a building by his/herself. I think it was ridiculous that you even took the time to state something so ridiculous. True we want to go home when it's that time, however as caregivers we also understand that when a child is in our care, they are our responsibility until the parent gets there. Seems to me you felt it was ok to leave the child because the parent was late, "so owell". Your statement alone let me know that I would never bring my child to your center. What a world we live in.

Primary Colors Early Learing Center is more than a daycare; it's truly a preK program that starts when children are mere months old. Our child started there and it's the only preschool we trusted to help nurture and educate our child. The staff with whom we interacted over 4+ years (about a dozen caregivers/administrators) all showed exemplary care for and interest in our child. We have nothing but praise for this enterprise. Now that our child is in "real" school, we value Primary Colors more than ever, as it's obvious what a good foundation they provided.

As for the negative review, the parent doesn't mention that she was late arriving to fetch her 3-year-old baby--and did not call. Her child fell asleep in a classroom. With no parent arriving in a timely fashion, the child kept on sleeping, unnoticed in the hubbub of end of day activity (ie: responsible parents picking up their children on time). The center was most contrite, immediately instituting extra, failsafe procedures to prevent such regrettable acts. Perhaps if the unhappy reviewer considers the daycare far better in her home country, she should return there.

Primary Colors Child Care Center is an extraordinarily nice place to enroll your toddler. The inside is very sophisticated and clean, which is needed to keep down on germs. The women that work here are certified in Child Care per my acquisition. (I didn??t see any men). I went here during the summer for one of my classes and was very pleased. The only con that I can say about this school is that they are not very good with return phone calls. You may just have to go up there like I did.
