We had Rugworks install a new hardwood floor in our den which went well with no problems The bigger job was to extend the existing hardwood floor in our dining room where we had built an addition making the room 50% bigger. The new floor

My husband and I were looking locally for a certain type of flooring and the pattern/color we wanted weren't available at the chain stores. I checked out Rugworks because they were in the same office complex as the business I was working in at the time. We found they did carry a good selection of the vinyl composition flooring we wanted to use in our high-traffic kitchen.

We found that because we were a fairly small job and not a commercial building, new construction, or school that we had a hard time getting them to take us seriously and return phone calls, however they did eventually install the floor after we did some repair of our subfloor through a contractor.

We allowed the product to settle for a couple of days and saw that there was a hump where two pieces of underlayment came together so we had to call them back out to flatten the spot for safety reasons. They were good about fixing it and the sales rep who sold us the product conceded at that time that he didn't think it would look good in a house, but that it did.

The price of the product was average compared to other dealers, however as I stated previously they did have more colors and styles available to choose from. The installers worked quickly and left as little mess as they could, however I did become annoyed that the front door was constantly being left open. I hope they have since learned to be a bit more conscientious about air conditioning and insects.

Overall I'd recommend Rugworks to anyone looking to cover a lot of square footage, otherwise they're less likely to take you seriously.

Approximately one year ago Rugworks installed linoleum and wood flooring in my brand new home. The linoleum floorings has since seperated and ripped away from the floor along the entire perimeter. The wood flooring has a large dip i n the middle and is warped. I have called Rugworks more than a dozen times and their representative Todd Williams of the Durham, NC location has refused to do anything about the problem and will not answer my calls or return my calls after sending me to his voice-mails. Shame on Rugworks for taking advantage of a senior citizen!
