Having been a loyal customer of Oak Park Electronics for the past 15 years or so, I can tell you first hand that George and his Brother at O.P.E. provide first class and very reasonably priced service each and every time. These guys are also as honest as the day is long, and how often to you find that in the repair business? You simply cannot go wrong with these guys and I for one will keep coming back for as long as they are around. Having said that, I want to address the one bad review that these guys unjustly received on 1/26/08. This Ill Informed person commented on how there was some excess product in the lobby, and somehow from this he assertained or "assumed" that they must not fix many sets. Well, for their information, that is product that has already been repaired and is waiting to be picked up, or it is product that was repaired and never paid for, so Oak Park had to absorb their repair bill, and those items are usually for sale in order to try and cover their expenses. All repair shops are also required to hold onto pieces that are not paid for for a certain period of time also before disposing of them if I am not mistaken. Was this person looking for a maid, or a good repairman? I just had to say something because some people "assume" way too much, and that comment was not only ignorant, but it was also undeserved. Oak Park Electronics is by far the best Electronics Repair facility in Raleigh..Period. Five Stars!
