Finished sooner than insurance estimated.

by Paul S.

Haddock Collision finished repairs in 1/2 day less than insurance adjuster estimated. I am pleased with the quality of the work. The staff were very helpful.

You decide if this good or bad!

by Michelee G.

Ok, I know that you really can't see damage done unless you look inside. But I know my damages wasn't that serious. I called on a Monday after my car has been there for 2 weeks and they told me my car will be ready on Wednesday or Thursday. Of course no car! Then I called on the follow Monday they said Friday! Then on Friday it became Monday! Please dont lie about my car that is the only way I have transportation. My insurance only give thirty days for a rental car...

Auto body

by Joseph B. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,524

Hopefully this isn't a reflection on OUR driving, but we have used this firm three times and been VERY satisfied each time. Auto body shops have a generally bad reputation (see the other reviews even on this one), but we wouldn't even think about going somewhere else!

Haddock OK

by Donald M.

My experience with Haddock is quite unlike the stories of others. I had two different cars repaired there. The work was done when they said it would be and the craftsmanship was excellent, both for a Volvo wagon and a 300 series BMW. Both were re: front ends, and while the parts were expensive because of the quality of the auto involved, the paint job and the attachments were done very well indeed. I am surprised that others have had such negative response. I guess each event is idiosyncratic to the customer involved. I have recommended them.

Horrible experience

by Lo L. | insider Insider | Rank: 13,111

If you need body work done on your car, find another location. We used their Fuquay location in the past and were pleased. We live closer to the Capital location and thought we'd use them again. We were VERY disgruntled and frustrated by their lack of quality and professionalism. For a job that should have been done in 2 weeks, it took 4. We had to have them re-do their work 4 times. It was a horrible experience. We won't be using them again.

Don't let these people near your vehicle

by Anonymous

On November 27th my boyfriend got in an accident in his truck. He hit a guard rail. As we were new to the area, the tow truck driver suggested we use Haddock Collision Center in Wake Forest. The truck sat there for about a week before the insurance adjuster saw the vehicle. We gave the "OK" to go ahead and begin working on the damage - all front end. It needed work done on the suspension, front brakes and front body work. Initial estimated time for repair was 2 weeks and $5000. Long story short....we waited and waited and kept being given excuses, and finally Xmas week, we were told that one part was on back order and initially they had ordered the wrong suspension part but didn't realize till after Xmas. They proceeded with the body damage repair. Then the suspension part didn't come in till Jan 15th. We called today and were told that just "10 minutes before the call", the mechanic went to drive in the vehicle for the final repair and the brakes failed (which Haddock had already repaired), he hit the garage door, and now it has to have a whole bunch more body work done which has put the repair back another week. They now estimate completion to be 25th Jan. That totals over 2 months for a straight forward repair that should have taken 2 weeks. This has been a comedy of errors. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE HADDOCK. If the vehicle had been drivable, we would have removed the vehicle from Haddock after the first 3 weeks of being messed around but we did not want to have to organize tow trucks at our expense with trying to prepare for the Xmas holidays.

Additional comments. Jan 21st

I just want to add to the above comments that just after I had written this review, Customer Service at Haddock approved a car rental that we had requested due to the time the repair was taking. My mom just spoke to Bobby at Haddock and had a long conversation. He re-iterated that delays in receiving parts had been out of their control. He also said that in fact the brake failure was an electronic fault that even the technicians at the Chevy dealership couldn't diagnose at first. Haddock towed in the truck to the local Chevy dealership and once they found the fault, they were able to fix it. The vehicle was then sent back to Haddock and it is now having the body work finished. Hopefully it will be done this week.
Haddock did approve a car rental for the remaining few weeks and because their customer service finally made an appropriate call to us to explain things a little better, I feel somewhat happier. Sometimes customers just need to feel that they are not being 'fobbed off' with excuses and that the way the repair is handled is as important to the repair facility as it is to the customer.

Went to pick up truck today. Was told it was being cleaned and was ready to go. My boyfriend was so happy and relieved until we got there!!!! We noticed the tow hitch wiring connection was hanging off truck, the plastic housing was crushed and the actual metal socket bracket had been smashed. Also, there was a slight dent in one of the doors that had not been part of the repair. The agent told me he had not noticed and said cars come in all the time with existing damage. I assured him that we had used the tow hitch just the week before and it was intact and working perfectly. Also, there was only one dent in the truck body - and THAT WASN"T IT! He told me that a box had been stolen out of the back of the truck but it was empty. He seemed very frustrated and rushed off to get the OK to go head and fix both of these items. I now question the level of security at the facility.
So sadly, after waiting 10 weeks since the accident, we had to go home and wait for MORE repair work to be done due to vandalism whilst in their care.(It was suggested these items could have been damaged at the Tow company storage facility). However, neither of the items were noted as damaged when the truck arrived at Haddock on Nov 30th.. Not sure when the truck will be ready. He said he hoped by tomorrow....
