Cary Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Specialists

I had a terrible problem with my knee and saw Dr. Curzan at Cary Ortho. He is wonderful. He exhausted all efforts and finally decided surgery was our best option. I had outpatient surgery a month ago and now I am pretty much pain free. I still have about 5 months of therapy/strengthening exercises to get to 100% but it has made a huge difference in my lifestyle. They accepted my insurance and I have had no problem with billing or appointments. Actually the cost for them was less than the surgery center or the anesthetizes. It was a great deal in my opinion for a surgeon. They have a great bedside manner and even give you their home numbers after surgery in case you have any problems. I was super impressed by that. Dr. Curzan also called me the day after the surgery at home to make sure I was ok. I honestly cannot recommend them enough!

This was my second visit to Dr. Curzan. About 3 years ago I had torn the ligaments in my shoulder and that time he was able to fix my shoulder without any surgery. As you can see, having seen him and using this practice for two separate injuries, they have my utmost trust and I am convinced they are the very best ortho practice in the area.

I have been very happy with Carolina Family Practice and Sports Medicine!

Their office is first class and the Dr.s that I and my husband have seen have been really thorough!

I am seeing Dr. Martini for a chronic knee problem. He has been remarkable in his treatment and care of me. He also will listen to what I say and what I want and will work with me and follow my lead. I feel very much a part of my own care. He is very easy to talk to and very friendly. His staff is wonderful, even letting my four year old "help" behind the wall taking x-rays when I brought her with me to an appointment. There is sometimes a wait to see him, but it's worth every minute. They are timely and friendly when returning phone calls.

I chose Dr. Martini because I read a review on how easy he was to talk to. I found out afterward that he is the orthopedic surgeon for the Carolina Hurricanes. With one knee surgery down and one to go, I can see why. He is amazing. I wish he was a family practice doctor too, just wonderful. I can't say enough good things about him and his staff.
