I had a computer built by them a little over a year ago. the system has been temperamental and up until recently I figured it was just a low quality case (most problem had been USB or sound port related). the computers newest trick is to overheat while gaming, games I have played on ultrahigh quality for the last six months suddenly cannot be played for more then an hour at a time on lowest settings. I brought the machine to them to figure out what was wrong, and was told "there was no thermal paste on it" well considering they built it, a little over a year ago, sure whatever lets say that is not there fault and pay them for the repair and move on. less then two weeks later the machine is crashing again, from overheat, from basic operation. all fans are functional, the case is clean. I call them, they say "bring it in, we wont charge you to check it again (seeing as there first repair and check clearly did not fix or find the issue or at least not the whole issue) but if we find something else, we will charge you again" ...that is where I draw the line. you are telling me, that a build you did less then a year ago (for 1100 dollars) is falling apart and cannot run minesweeper let alone a real game, and that I had to pay 30 dollars and wait TWO DAYS for you to observe a lack of thermal paste and "test" all the other parts. then you tell me its "all good" and send it home. it falls apart again a few weeks later and you want me to bring it in to test again?! then charge me more? build your own off a site like newegg or go to a company like Intrex, that is my advice if you live in Winston. these guys will build you a lemon then milk you on the repairs for it, I feel like I am at a used car lot.

Holy Crap! I've read some of the other reviews, and for those couple who have had a bad experience, I don't know how! I went in a few weeks ago to get my laptop fixed, and they called for this guy Joe. I'm not sure who Joe is, or where they found him, but he's some kind of genius. I am certain of that. I told him my laptop was dead, and to recycle it (another reason to go there). He asked if I meant dead battery, or "dead, dead". I said dead, dead. He took it, (I won't say for embarrassment's sake what he did) and in less than 20 seconds, fixed something The Computer Place, and Laptop Shack couldn't in the 6 weeks (between them) they had my laptop. I'll be a customer for life! Keep up the great work fellas! Joe, if you ever need a job, call me!

Called on a Tuesday morning to inquire about cost & turnaround for laptop jack repair. I was quoted $75 with a 1-day turn. 2-3 days, if a part is needed. Satisfied with these terms, I dropped off the laptop same day & requested a phone call update about the timeframe. I didn't hear anything until I called Thursday afternoon. I was then told that the part was ordered & the laptop should be ready on Friday or Saturday. On Saturday, I was told that the laptop would be ready on Monday. I didn't hear anything until I called again the following Wednesday afternoon. I was then told that the part was coming from Thailand but should arrive that day. I visited in-person on Thursday & was told they weren't quite sure why the part hadn't come in but that they were tracking the order and would follow up. I didn't hear anything until I called again the following today - Tuesday (this makes TWO weeks!). I was again told that they are tracking the package and when I reminded that this is exactly what they'd said the week prior, the tech recounted to say that they'd already tracked the shipment & that it should arrive "today or tomorrow". Hmmm, it seems they've got a thing for promising 'today or tomorrow' and 'a day or two'. I can't speak to the quality of service just yet, but I can caution you to be skeptical of any promise for quick turnaround.

Sorry L R for the poor communication I would like to apologize for our poor communication in this instance. While we normally do have a quick turn around, we sometimes do not have a particular part in stock and have to order it. I checked into your case and the part that was ordered came from Hong Kong, which takes at least 10 business days for shipping. This should have been explained to you when we realized that we could not find your particular power jack in the US, and you should've been given the option as to wait for the part or not. I am truly sorry that there was a communication breakdown on our end, this is not the way we want to conduct business.

I had Dragonware build a high end custom system for gaming. It has performed flawlessly and they were awesome to deal with through the whole process. What impressed me the most was that they listened to what I was saying and delivered what I wanted. I highly recommend them!

I dealt with Dragonware when my computer was struck by lightning and I was very happy with their service as well as the treatment I got as a customer. I was dreading what I'd have to go through with the insurance company but they cut through the red tape for me, writing up just what my insurance company needed where the damage was concerned and they did it in a timely manner. I'll be back next time I need anything computer.

Having dealt with Dragonware on a continuing basis for the last 5 years, I salute their expertise, friendly demeanor and most of all their integrity. I'm still using a custom machine built 5 years ago. Now they are in the process of building me a new one. Nothing wrong with the old one except technology has leapt forward. I am a regular visitor mostly to bring other peoples computers for repairs. They are extremely conscientious when a business computer is brought in. Phillip and Michelle are truly professionals and I would recommend their services to anyone who wants a great business experience. They actually deserve more than 5 stars.

These guys are the best. My husband-a Product Engineer has reviewed many local service companies and he rates them the best in knowledge and service. They made 2 custom computers to my husbands specifications for hundreds less than others quoted. We use them extensively. There service is excellent. How many companies will come out after hours to help you fix something someone else sold you. Speaking of sold, their recommendations on network gear saved my business from buying unnecessary equipment and services that other companies want us to buy.

They accept most major credit cards and they are open seven days a week. They are TIA certified and Microsoft Professional certified. Their place left a little to be desired and their customer service was a little on the lazy side.
