We've been to a lot of Army museums, but this is a little gem. There are lots of displays depicting little-known aspects of conflicts and wars of the past century. There is a chunk of the Berlin wall on display.

Currently there is an exhibit on the Global War on Terror. It is very interesting, if small. There are gold plated rifles Saddam Hussein bought for his son, and a bust of him from the invasion of Bagdad.

There are a lot of rich details.

Open on Veterans' Day and Memorial Day. Free admission.

I believe the simulator mentioned in the previous review is actually at the Airborne and Special Operations Museum in downtown Fayetteville.

Hey all!

We had a blast at the JFK Special Operations Warfare Museum. You can learn how Special Forces was created and who was involved. This place is in kept in excellent condition. If you'd like to take a ride in a helicopter, a humvee, or a motorcycle, then check out the simulator. It was so good we all had to stay in our seats for a minute before we could stand up straight :)
