I would not recommend this office to anyone, particularly Dr. Kaplan. The only doctor I found that listens to you is Dr. Ross. She is awesome. Everytime I would tell Dr. Kaplan about a problem I was having, he would say it's normal, not important, or if it gets too bad to see my primary doctor. I had been complaining of chest pains and really bad shortness of breath for over a month. He would just tell me the shortness of breath was normal for pregnancy, and if the chest pain got too bad to see my primary care doctor. I finally got to the point one day I couldn't catch my breath. I went to the hospital and was admitted for pneumonia. I had also been complaining of excruciating pelvic pain, and he just kept putting that off as normal. I eventually found out I had developed a fibroid tumor that was growing quite rapidly. At 31 weeks pregnant, my primary care doctor got me into another OBGYN quickly. I've always had United Healthcare. But after I got Medicaid as a secondary insurance, I was told they don't accept Medicaid after you're 16 weeks pregnant.

I partly agree with the comment of the user below. When I initially called Green Valley to set up an appointment for prenatal care, I told them that I am paying cash because my maternity insurance doesn't kick in for another year. Over the phone, they acted like they didn't believe I could pay the 500 dollar initial fee, which was kind of insulting. They kept asking if I was applying for Medicaid and I had to keep explaining that we make too much money, which they didn't believe. I got so frustrated that I actually had my husband call and make my appointment for me. They are not so much racist as the poster below said but classist. Once they know you can pay, though, they are very polite. All except for Dr. Wein's nurse who is kind of unprofessional. Dr. Wein himself though is so sweet and reassuring. If you can get through the hurdles at the front desk and make him your primary doctor, you won't regret it.

I wish i would had never chosen this office for my prenatal care of my first child. I just recently tried to switch to another doctors office but due to the fact that i am too far along, Im stuck here. I also just found out from other reviews that many other women feel the same way. I have never experienced such rude health care providers. Maybe its because the color of my skin or the fact that i am a Medicaid patient. All the doctors have such horrible attitudes that makes the visits uncomfortable and make me not want to add questions. The ladies at the check in and out desks and nurses are sweethearts! I have to give credit to Dr Horvath, she is absolutely wonderful.

I went to this practice for about 2.5 years before I moved. Dr. Horvath was my primary and I think she is great. Since I went through them for both of my pregnancies I had to see every doctor. That fact I do not like.. The staff are generally pretty friendly. I really like that lab services. The lady in there is great. The thing that gets me the most is that you will be waiting at least an hour! It was rare for me to just get in and out.

Dr. Ross=Very good, kind of an odd guy..

Dr. Wein=Very nice, nothing bad to say about him

Dr. Kaplan=fine.. nothing bad or exceptional about him

Dr. Anderson= Do not like him. I had two friends swear about how good he is.. However, I get a creepy feel from him.. Plus he was running so late one day he barely stopped by to check on me.. He was suppose to check a hoo ha check when I was pregnant, but he skipped it.. I didn't argue because like I said. He creeps me out.

Dr. Silva= she is one of the most upbeat chirpy doctors I have ever met. She reminds me of the chic on Grey's Anatomy.

Dr. Horvath=I really really like her. .she makes me feel comfortable and is easy to talk to.. however she runs late a lot.

I have seen Dr. Wein for probably almost 20 years now. He's great, the office is wonderful and they keep on schedule so well. I've been in for my yearly checkup and gotten out within 45 minutes including my mammogram. They just have everything scheduled so well.

I have seen both Dr. Alexander and Dr. Wein in this practice. I don't have very many female problems, but need my mammogram, pap smears and yearly exams done every year. As I get older I know that I will rely on these Doctors more and more. I had some problems back in the fall and called Dr. Wein's nurse. She got me an appointment that very next morning. I had to have a biopsy which showed that there was nothing wrong. I appreciated the concern and fast check that they did on my condition. Some of these things will happen as we get older. It is scary when they occur and they assured me that everything was normal. That care meant a lot to me at the time. This office is located close to Women's hospital. Dr. Wein has been very good to offer his services when my daughter was visiting from out of state and was going to be spending a week with me. She had lost a baby previous during the same time period and was concerned about another miscarriage. She did not miscarry but he told me to call him if there was any problem. My daughter was not even his patient. That was beyond the call of duty in my opinion.

PROS: Excellent women's doctor
CONS: Big office with many doctors

I went to this doctors office when having my last child. All of the doctors were wonderful. They were great at explaining stuff that was going on with my pregnancy. I never once felt uncomfortable
