My husband suffered from a second degree water burn on his calf. Being a stubborn man he waited a few days after this happened before he finally gave into going to seek medical attention. We assumed that the wait would be longer in an actual Emergency Room so we chose to go to this Urgent Care Center. We obviously assumed wrong. After checking in we waited for over 2 hours before even being seen by the Triage nurse. Then we waited almost another 2 hours before seeing a doctor. The doctor treated the burn, which included peeling off the dead layer of burnt skin. To prepare my husband for the pain he was given a 600mg. dose of Ibuprofen 10 min. before the procedure. Then the same nurse asked my husband if he had taken any pain medication! After the procedure they wrapped my husband's leg, gave him a prescription for a large amount of Vicodin and told him to come back and follow up in 2 days. After two days we went back, against our better judgement, and again waited for more than 2 hours. Then nurses on staff this day were very unfriendly and stood around gossipping the whole time we waited. After being brought into a room we waited for another 1-2 hours. The doctor finally came in, took one look at his leg, said that it looked good and offered him more pain medication! And we wonder why so many people are addicted to prescribed pain medications, these doctors hand them out like they are candy! My husband turned down the prescription and we left. We will never go back to this facility whether it is an emergency or not!

I broke my collar bone after playing a game of flag football and had to be rushed to the Rex Urgent Care in Cary to be treated. After about sitting in the waiting room for nearly 45 minutes in excruciating pain, I was finally treated. The doctor basically threw a slinger on me, and prescribed some medication. He was not very friendly and did not give me good advice on how I should make sure it does not reinjure itself. When the bill came in the mail, my dad almost fainted. I do not recommend anyone going to this facility unless it is a real emergency.

ve been to this urgent care twice. The staff is unfriendly and they seem very rushed. Both times I went it was for an allergic reaction. Both doctors barely looked at it for 2 seconds, made snap decisions, wrote the prescription and practically shoved me out of the office. Also if you dont have insurance, DO NOT GO HERE. They charge more than ANY other urgent care. On my first visit, I didnt have insurance and I felt robbed and cheated. Thankfully, I had insurance the second time, but I still felt like I didnt get the time and attention that my plight required.
