I love coming to the Graham Cinema. However, it is in great need of a good cleaning. I know that the cinema is in need of funds to purchase new equipment. Maybe if someone did a good cleaning, sales would increase!

There is no Graham Cinema in Burlington. It is at 119 N. Main St, Graham, NC. Nice place to see movies. A pleasant experience every time I've been there.

My husband and I went to Graham Cinema a few weeks ago and it was a wonderful date night. Tickets are only $3 and you get free refills on popcorn and drinks. The theater is a great piece of history with large, comfy reclining seats and a nice balcony. The temperature was just right....I dind't freeze like I usually do at movies. Definitley check out Graham Cinema. Give the theater a call at (336) 226-1488 and listen to Tim Bob's movie review and jokes - you'll get a laugh every time.

This cinema is a little piece of history. Cheat seats ($3) for second run movies. They usually play one show in the evenings on weeknights, and several showings on the weekends. There is plenty of seating, on the main floor or balcony, and popcorn and pop has free refills, and is really reasonably priced anyway. Picture quality/sound is good. They do birthday party packages, and offer advertising for local area businesses for really inexpensive pricing (around $30/month). When you call to hear show times, "Tim Bob" always does a joke in a very country accent, and he is always good for a laugh; He is the FORMER owner. A middle aged couple now owns this theater along with many other businesses in the area.

Restrooms are very small and cramped, could use some more efficient cleaning, and parking is rather difficult, especially if you arrive before the previous show has let out. The guy who does the tickets is unfriendly and rarely smiles (it has been the same guy all 4 years that we have been coming here), but you don't have to see him except for the two minutes it takes to pay, so who cares. On few occasions there have been rowdy teenagers, but this is, of course, very show specific, and they tend to hang out in the balcony level. If they are causing you any problems, just tell the employee (grim guy at the ticket window is usually the only guy working) and he will remove them.

This place is worth a trip. Certainly beats paying 9$/seat and driving to the mall.

This is a great place to take the family. It has the old pull up curtain and cozy seats! There is a great Realtor Elizabeth Ward Small that sponsors a FREE family movie the 2nd Saturday of each month and you can attend the family film for free. She has a charity event that is sponsored and you can opt to help if you like. I registered for her email me the movie each month by signing in her website www.wardsmall.com.

I think this cinema is the best! In response to an earlier review: granted, the theater is not in as good of condition as a new one, but at the new one, it costs me $20 to see the movie. I'm not there to enjoy the scenery, the lights are off anyway, I'm there to enjoy the movie. This theater makes it possible for my spouse and I, who are on a rather tight budget, to get a night out and not feel guilty for it. Great work for refusing to bow to the economy that keeps saying glamor means better. Absolutely recommended!

Pros: Great prices

This used to be the most wonderful theater I have ever visited. The new owner needs to take care of this historic landmark! It is absolutely filthy. The seats are falling apart. YOU HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO PRESERVE THIS CINEMA! Have some pride--Please repair!!

There is just something about the Graham Theater that makes for a great date night. The seats are comfortable and you don't have to break the bank (sometimes I even offer to pay for my boyfriend) Dinner and a movie at the Multiplex can run anywhere from $50-$100. Dinner and a movie at the Graham Theater, where the tickets are $2.00 and free refills on soda and popcorn, well lets just say that there is money left over. The movies come to the Graham about 2 weeks before they come out on DVD, but that's okay, because they are worth the wait. There is always a seat available, the lines are never long, and where else can you make a "suicide soda" for only $2.00. We love the Graham Theater. So ladies, if youre like me and you want to pay sometimes to give your boyfriends wallet a break, opt for the Graham Cinema, where you can snuggle close and enjoy a good movie!

This cinema is irrefutable proof that newer isn't always better. I love the fact that this movie theater still values its customers by not price gouging everything from admission to concessions. It's so cheap, you almost can't afford NOT to go (pardon the pun). Graham Cinema doesn't need more character, but it's unique weekly phone recording puts it over the top. I love the rocking seats. Where else will $2 buy you a primetime movie ticket these days? If you buy a large popcorn and a drink (free refills on both) you will not spend more than $5. $5 will not even buy one of these most other places. It may not be the most new and modern theater, but who's to say it needs to be. I'd choose this theater over the newer ones any day. I love Graham Cinema!

Growing up I saw many movies at Graham Cinema & still do as an older person. It's an old theater but is still beautiful inside. For me, watching a movie in a big theater seems more fun & exciting than at a small multiplex.... plus it is cheaper at $2.00. Also the popcorn & drinks are much more affordable than multiplex prices & you get free refills. The Cinema has top notch movies but you have to wait a few months before they come to Graham but it is worth the wait due to the low admission price. The only negative comment for me are the seats. They have lost some of their comfort over the years so I bring my own cushion from home. If you dont want to do that, you can use one of the free cushions available in the lobby. All in all it is a wonderful experience to go to a movie at the Graham Cinema.

It gives me a good feeling to see the Cinema marque lit up with all the lights aglow. It reminds me of days gone by but yet the Cinema is still with us & still showing movies.

For a night out at the movies I would recommend Graham Cinema. It is an old theater in the historical district that has been renovated. Usually they carry only one movie for a week, but sometimes they will carry two. They have plenty of seating with a balcony to boot! The best part is it only cost $2 for a ticket. However, the movies are not the newest movies that are playing at the large cinemas, but they are usually fairly new movies that have not been released on DVD yet.

this place is grahams only cinema but it is what we like to call a cheap seats. one screen one price $2. and all drinks and popcorn get free refills. great local stop and big screen for all your movie viewing pleasure. this one is a classic, this guy usually shows a cartoon likie in the old days in front of the movie. it may be small and it may only have one screen, but it is fun for the whole family.

PROS: free refills
CONS: only one screen

Located in historical downtown Graham, Graham Cinema will take you back in time. This cinema has been around for decades and was remodeled and opened for business again several years ago. It is just like the theaters of yesteryear. With the flashing lights around the big sign outside showing what is playing, you might get a bit nostalgic. Then, upon entering, you pay $2.00 for your movie ticket, and get your popcorn, candy, drinks, etc. Once you are ready to take your seat, you can choose to stay on the ground floor close to the gigantic screen, or you can go into the balcony seats and view your picture from up high. This is a cheap, fun, and nostalgic way to entertain yourself and the entire family any night of the week!

This theater features movies that have already been shown. They are several months behind in getting them. However, the prices are great! So, if you can wait awhile to see a movie, youll definitely save money by going here. The staff is friendly and the snacks are good and comparably priced.

If you can wait for a movie to come to the Graham Cinema, or want to see one you've already seen, you'll save a ton of money by viewing it at the Graham Cinema. There is one screen, but there is additional seating in the balcony. The snacks aren't as expensive as other theaters either. Also, you can call them to check movies and times and be entertained with a joke as well.

The admission reminds me more of the seventies, and the interior reminds me of theaters of th "olden days". Great seletion of candy, last time I went it was the only theayer that didn't succumb to the sour patch kids and jujy fruit craze and still sold good old fashioned Jawbreakers and such. Free refills of popcorn and pop, and you can butter it yourself. For only $2, it's well worth the trip down theater lane!

When the movie projector broke during the climax of the film, for a few minutes we had no sound. Then, there was no picture. When we complained, the young man working there said that he could tell us what happened. I looked at him with a surprised look and he said that he couldn't do anything else and telling us the outcome was the next best thing.

Not too many places let you refill your drink or get extra popcorn! and when the ticket is $2 for an adult, that's cool! Not the fanciest place, but fun - good for a family night out, clean and comfy.
Be sure to check out the ads on screen prior to the features!
