This was my very first truck so imagine my disgust when I found out just two weeks after my last payment, it needed a new transmission! I decided to try and save as much money as I could and let a friend convince me that he could fix it for way less than what a repair shop would charge. BIG MISTAKE PEOPLE! After me buying parts he told me he needed, him playing around with it and it still not working, I ended up having it towed to AAMCO in Garner so they could try and make some sense of the mess. I had already been without my truck for about a month and I was NOT happy to say it nicely. When I talked to Mr. Mo, he was very patient with me and I felt like he really understood my situation and where I was at trying to deal with the whole situation. I just wanted it fixed and done. We figured out how I could finance the repair and a few days later I got a call from Steve saying my truck was ready! WOW! I thought he had me confused with somebody else but I didn't argue. Went to pick up my truck, test drove it on the road, test drove it some more, signed my life away and then drove by my friend's house on the way home! Didn't stop of course, kept on going just because I could! Hey guys, thank you all for helping me out of this disaster. If you read this, you should give me a call and tell me what you all like to drink and I'll be glad to bring some by and I promise to stop! Thanks again! Tom

Our family has been a customer of AAMCO Garner for about 5 years now. We have owned four different vehicles and all have had their regular service done by Mo and his team.

We have also carried our potential car purchases to have them checked over by Mo before we agreed to buy. One vehicle we looked at needed a transmission rebuild right away. Because of our confidence in Mo and the high quality service we have always received, we agreed to buy the van and quickly turned it over to Mo for repair. We have not been disappointed.

We highly recommend AAMCO of Garner for anything related to your vehicle. We don't trust anybody else, esp dealerships!

I've been driving cars for 30 years now, and this is my worst car-repair experience ever. I took my Avalon to fix its transmission, when they told me it will be fixed in 2-3 days. It has been 10 days now and the car is still lying there unfixed. After all that time they told "we don't really know what exactly is the problem" and therefore they asked for online technical help! One of the employees told me that "things happen... we have a car for more than 2 weeks now still unfixed" Really?! Very bad work

Just a note to let you know the small connector was the problem with my wife's Crossfire. The transmission is no longer leaking. It was $170 well spent.

Also, the brakes on the Durango are outstanding and may be better than new. The longest cars that I had were a Corvette and Bronco. Hopefully, the Durango will be with me for a long time. I told my son about the hubs. He said, "I bet they were about $225 each." I told him how shocked I was on the price and that the Durango is as expensive as a corvette to keep up. He said, "Dad, these are self-locking hubs and not like the manual ones on the Bronco". "OH", I replied feeling stupid to my youngest son.

Anyway, as always, I will recommend you and Aamco any oppurtonity I have.

A Satisfied Customer,

Elwood

I took my truck to Aamco and it took about two weeks to fix when the owner told me it would take a week. I was told to come back over and over but the truck was never ready. When i finally got it back after two week I had to take it back in two days later to get fix again. I got the oil changed as well but they could not put the seal on right so my truck leaked until I took it somewhere else because they could not do the oil.
