People in this store, especially the manager - is extremely rude and not at all interested in providing a genuine resolution to any issue - just going through the motions. I was so offended with his so called service, I walked out, and I will NEVER shop there again!

I bought some sale items for my daughter in college. It was out of the way for us to go to Staples, but I couldn't beat the price of a penny for some items. My boyfriend came with me because there was a limit per person. We got the things on sale plus spent about $100 or more on regular priced items.\n\nThe items were a penny after rebate. My order was fine and the cashier gave me all of the rebate information, however, he really messed up my boyfriend's order by charging him twice for items he didn't get, plus he didn't give him all of the rebate information.\n\nI called the store to let them know and the person who answered the phone was rude and put me on hold for a manager for over 10 minutes. I hung up and called back, no apology or anything. Rude again then on hold for about the same amount of time. I called back again and finally got the manager. He was nice to begin with and tried to work things out over the phone with the rebates but that is when I discovered that the cashier double charged us for some items. The manager said I would have to come in the store and it just wasn't worth $8 for me to drive 12 miles and take the time to fix the problem. He wasn't so nice anymore and at that point I just gave up on the whole idea of getting reimbursed.\n\nI could go on and on but I think you can get the picture of how they treat their customers there. I will never go there again.

OK, so I brought my laptop in for a repair. I had a problem with a screen, it was dim. I warned the tech guy upfront that the screen was SLIGHTLY damaged and had a small leak. \r\nThey spent quite a while looking at the laptop, but were not able to tell what exactly was wrong with it or how to fix it. They said they would have to send it to outside department and charge me few hundred for it. When they were putting the screen back together I hear a loud cracking sound, they looked alarmed, but assured me nothing was wrong. \r\nWell, the screen started working normally after a restarted the computer (!) - no $200+ bill required - and once it did I saw a huge crack and dark spots all across the screen. Needless to say I went back and explained what happened to the manager - Jeff, I think. He basically gave me a runaround with his corporate office and tried to deny the whole incident.\r\nBottom line: they will not fix your computer, they will try to charge you for ""outside"" repairs and if they damage your piece in the process - you're stuck with it. \r\n

He showed me the CD'S THEN WENT ON TO TELL ME ABOUT A PRINTER THAT PRINTS RIGHT ON THE CD'S. I had to have it then and there! It's great Thanks Staples for taking the time to help me.
