This place was completely renovated in Fall 2011. Very nice staff, great place for kids walking and up. They have indoor playsets, trike track, jungle gym and a bunch of imaginary play stations. It's very clean and they have snacks

My experience with Power of Play was sub par. The staff is made up of young teenagers. There is only one adult and she is hardly their to supervise. It's basically kids watching kids. The place is clean, and the idea is great, however with the young teenage staff, I really would not recommend this to anyone without having personel with the proper skills and training.

Power of play is full of all sorts of pretend play: Everything from pretending to be a doctor to a firefighter, a waiter or an astronaut in space. I was slightly disappointed by the older more worn things and some of the things looked like they were broken/missing pieces. Another drawback for moms of young children is that there is a school there with lots of rowdy older children that trample through. Overall my kids had a blast and didn't mind these small drawbacks -- nice for a once in awhile play date!

Business Response:

Power of Play has now been completely renovated! We have torn down walls, updated stations, brought in several play systems by Playnation of Wilmington, and added lots of new toys! We have new carpet, new restrooms, and Melissa and Doug toy shop and so much more. Come by and check it out again!

My boys have loved Power of Play. There is lots to do with all the centers they have and they never seemed to get bored. It can be a bit crazy in there on a rainy day!

We have been to Power of Play many times and each time we go, my children have a great time. They have a large indoor play structure for children to climb on and slides as well as tricyles and cars. In addition, they have a few dozen centers that promote imaginative play such as, a pretend school room, theater, grocery store, restuarant, play house, doctor, vet, etc. I highly recommend Power of Play for any child age 1 up to lower elementary ages.

I took my 16 month old son to Power of Play for a 3 year old's birthday party. We all had such a great time. It has an area set up for several different types of imaginitive play. A ranch, a vet's office, a grocery store, a tricycle race track, a day care, a jungle gym, and so much more. I really wasn't sure what kind of fun a 1 year old could have at an older kid's birthday party, but he had so much fun and there was plenty to occupy him. I highly recommend it for the 1 to 4 year old crowd!

More about Power Of Play

Power of Play, newly renovated in August 2011, has over 14000 square feet of children's entertainment to include a huge jungle gym, a trike track, 4 awesome Playnation play systems to play on and over 12 imagination stations with lots of Melissa and Doug toys throughout. You can come play with your child or drop them off for a few hours for care while you run errands. The facility is suitable for ages 1-12, but children must be at least 3 and potty trained to participate in drop in care.
