I was a little nervous about going here - a chain rather than a private practice - but my fears turned out to be for naught.

I found Dentalworks through my insurance provider's website and decided to give them a try. Making the appointment was very easy via their toll-free number, and I received a confirmation call two days in advance.

I had trouble finding the place at first, but a Sears associate was able to direct me there. Check-in was a breeze, thanks to patient forms I printed and filled out at home, and my hygienist, Karl, was a really nice guy - attentive, conversational, careful, always explaining what he was doing, and reassuring me that I hadn't neglected my teeth too badly. Dr Silvoy was very pleasant as well. He listened to my concerns about my crowded teeth and explained what kind of orthodontics might benefit me in the future. He took the time to really talk to me instead of just checking the hygienist's work and then whipping out of sight (like I have experienced in the past). Checkout and scheduling were problem-free.

All in all, this was a great experience (or as great as it can be when you have to go to the dentist). I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

I tried making an appointment online for this office, but no one contacted me. Then, I made one on the phone and had to reschedule once (no problems there, thank goodness). However, no one bothered to give me specific directions to the office. They just said it was in the lower level of Sears. Not helpful!

So, I'm running kind of late, and I can't find the office. I call for more directions while in Sears, and they finally tell me that they're in the back by the tools section. That would have been good to tell me in the beginning! So, I hurry there, but they tell me when I get there that I have to reschedule. First of all, they never bothered to tell me that if I was late (mainly because of their bad directions), I'd have to reschedule to have a full hour. Second, they were rude and told me that the person I'd made the appointment with should have given me good directions and that they usually didn't get complaints like that.

Well, after all that, I just told them I'd take my business elsewhere, and I will. I also sent an email complaining to the main site about how bad my experience was and that I'd tell people about it, like I am now. I thank God I didn't get checked out by these idiots after reading other reviews.

Pros: NONE

Cons: Rude receptionist, terrible directions

So far we've had an emergency root canal and crown done here, and it's been great. They worked with me to get the costs down since it was completely out of pocket, and saw us when the temporary broke TWICE same day. They are way more affordable than my normal dentist in RTP.I highly recommend this shop. Best part is while procedure is being done for hubby, I can wander the mall until he's done. Good folks!

The worst ever. I need filling only. However, after they charged me about $1600.00 (deep cleaning and check fee). I spend another few hundred for the filling. The worst thing is I could no use those teeth anymore, even for chewing soft food. It hurts me whenever I use those teeth. They only want money out of your pocket. The staff in the front office were mean, rude and cold-blooded. Don't ever go to this damn clinic. The docotor was cold-blooded and his skills is awful. Will never go back . Don't recommend!!!!!!

Pros: nothing

Cons: overcharge, poor service

I needed a filling, they first charge you $230.00 before doing any procedure whatsoever. Now lets remember their shop is inside Sears, not some flashy office building. they are supposed to attend people of limited means.
