This place has changed now and is called Carolina Theater. The renovations look great but honestly we were very disappointed with it. The new seats were SO uncomfortable! The upstairs is a lounge which is a good idea if you're needing to kill some time before the movie and they now service alcohol and have a great selection of beers on tap.

If you are a customer of size, you will want to steer clear of this venue. The seats are very small, and the armrests do not raise. I was unable to sit comfortably in their seats, and the management would not permit me to bring a folding chair into the theater. My opitions were to stand for the duration of the film, or wait in the lobby while my family watched the movie. I waited in the lobby for the entire film, and was not given a refund for my ticket. I have never had such an experience in a movie theater before!

This place is a clean facility that has an arcade area upstairs and many screens to watch downstairs. They have an excellent frequent movie goer club that I am a part of. The popcorn is always delicious and they actually serve beer here. I highly recommend it. The only bad thing is that it can be crowded during peak hours and they do not have stadium seating.
