Tripps is fantastic; the french onion is great. That and a ceaser salad, and you have a simple, delicious meal. All of the food that I have had at Tripps is great; plus, they are able to handle large parties. We do our holiday office party there. The only problem is parking; it can get downright ridiculous, as a wildly popular Whole Foods is in the same complex. It is often a very congested area. If you can navigate the parking, though, Tripps is a safe bet for a good meal.

I've used Tripps as my favorite family & guests restaurant in Raleigh for five years. They always have great beef & chicken, and their service is top rate. You can go in casual or formal, and the waiter/ress always treat you well. The plates are huge with authentic tastes, with plenty of choices.

Pros: Good service, Beef & chicken dishes, Easy to travel to

Cons: Biggest seating = 8, Parking shared

I like the atmosphere of Tripps. The food is always good and comes out quickly. I like to use the restaurant for business meetings. Get there early for lunch or you will be waiting for a table.
