When I moved to the Raleigh area I searched for years (literally) to find a good salon. I went from place to place and was never happy with the balance between talent and cost. Until I happened upon Studio Em. I moved to a neighborhood close to the salon, went in and booked an appointment and haven't been to another salon since! I use Christine Fisher and she's fabulously talented and totally sweet. She listens to what I want and I've never been disapointed. It is more expensive, but all the compliments I receive and the way my hair looks makes it well worth the money!

Studio Em is top-notch. Emily has been cutting my hair since long before she opened this shop. She has staffed it with fun and talented people, and the business's success and growth speaks for itself. The stylists stay booked months in advance (there's good reason for that), so don't miss an appointment when you get one!

Everyone here is friendly and they make you feel welcome the moment you walk in the door. Kyle is my stylist and I love him to pieces!! He does great color cuts & updos. I highly recommend Studio Em to anyone looking for a relaxed feel in an upscale salon environment .

This is a great hair salon if you like being treated like a VIP. The shop has an upscale atmosphere but the pretty, young ladies who make up the staff have that down home southern charm. I like being called the day before to remind me of my appointment. As a 50 year-old male without much hair, my cut is pretty basic. For you ladies, they can do it all. Ask for Sherry if you want good conversation and want to look good when you walk out.

Studio em is a haircutting and styling place located in a shopping center with great clips. In the rush of finding a hairstylist for prom, I ran into making an appointment at Studio Em. They did a great job on my hair and liked it very much, but I knew that I would have been able to get a cheaper price tag at some other places. Though I know the quality of the cut and styling was much greater than that of the near Great Clips. If you have no choice, choose Studio Em, but be ready for its pricey cost.
