had great exp. here - wanted to try new place after bad dye job at another salon; Sara was able to not only fix the botched job done by the other salone, but was able to make me love my color and cut - not an easy fete. i am so picky when it comes to my hair - who isn't, right? i have definitely found a keeper in haircolorxperts and sara at cam village. the only down side was the parking - but i guess that just goes to show how in demand this salon is. great job!

had a great experience with mark...was getting ready for my birthday party that evening, and wanted some thing fun and new. got an amazing cut, some hi-lites and the best blowout style i have ever had. great staff, all of them were fun and knowledgable. i loved the location also - right in the middle of cam village - an inside-the-beltline lover's dream! i recommend mark, go see him!

My very first visit to this salon--so asked if the cut I was after (in the picture) was possible.(She said yes) Specified what I didn't want too. When I put my glasses back on I had the shortest hair I've ever had in my life! There was no rectifyihg it--Yes a great sylish cut--but not what I wanted or asked for. I'm just sorry I paid so much for something I hate having to live with.

All I have to say is "if the name of your salon is "haircolorxperts" you should be REAL hair color experts!" this place was totally ridiculous when i walked in and wanted a new color, they refused to give me the color I wanted and talked me into doing something else, that was not even close to what I wanted! If you're so called "hair color EXPERTS" why did you refuse to do a simple hair color that I have gotten done time after time? That is the LAST time I will try a new salon!!

We first went to Haircolorxperts as an "emergency" after a bad hair color job from another salon. The very nice and understanding receptionist Alisha fit us in on a Sunday. Kassidy was able to fix my daughters "black" bad hair color back to almost normal!! She was so Great! I can not express how much we appreciate her understanding and knowledge! She has so much skill, I would trust her with any color , highlights, cut or style. Kassidy is truly a great hair sylist that enjoys her job. She is very friendly and makes your visit very enjoyable! I do not mind driving the 70 miles to return each time. It is well worth the drive for me and my daughter. Thank you Kassidy!!!!

HCX in Cameron Village is an amazing salon. I had never had compliments about my hair before Jennifer started cutting and coloring it. My friends now tell me how much younger I look. I totally trust Jennifer with my hair. So much so that I often let her decide what cut and color I need for the season. I have never walked away unsatisfied. Great job!

I have been going to this salon for over a year now and love their service.!!! Michelle has taken me from short hair to growing my style out without that awkward time in between lengths: She has cut it so it grows out well and only needs a few trims. She is also a great person to talk to!

What I really love is that they don't push you to buy styling products that you don't need....They record everything in their system, so they know what products you arleady have, what you like, and when you are ready for a refill....And the products I have bought are quality products that last for a long time!

They are also good about trying to find a time to squeeze you in when you need a last minute trim or style....and they are willing to call you in the event an appointment opens up so that you don't have to rearrange your schedule!

I have recommended this salon to all of my friends who are looking for a new stylist!

I have been a going to salons for sometime now and decided to try this one, I went to the ones in cary and didnt like it, however, this one was fun. The ladies that work there are nice. The front desk girls Amanda and Emily are very nice and work well together. I think that I would definitly refer people there. Allison did a good job on my hair-Thanks

My fiance got his hair cut at HCX in Cameron Village and liked it, so I went in to have my hair colored and cut. They did such an amazing job on the color and highlights I plan on making HCX my regular Salon. The stylists were friendly, and although we felt the manager was a little short, the overall atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable.

In addition we thought the receptionists very friendly and helpful. If I remember her name, the receptionist named Brook gave exceptional customer service, and since we have just relocated to the area, she also recommended a great place close by for lunch as we were quite hungry after my hair appt. She also made several product recommendations which have convinced my fiance and I to switch to her recommended product lines.

Lastly, the website is very easy to use and navigate.

I WENT IN ABOUT TWO WEEKS AGO, HAD A BAD DYE JOB FROM ANOTHER SALON :(, ANYWAY, THEY GOT ME IN WRITE AWAY, FIXED MY HAIR ON THE FIRST TRY. I WAS AMAZED. THEY ARE THE BEST, GAIL, MICHELLE, SARAH, CASSIE, AND I THINK JONI (SORRY CANT REMEMBER ALL OF YOU). THEY WERE ALL GREAT, HELPED IN FIXING THE COLOR WITH MY HAIR. THE RECEPTIONIST WAS VERY NICE FOR IT BEING EARLY ON A FRIDAY MORNING, SHE GOT ME AN APPT THE SAME DAY I CALLED, I WAS TREATED VERY WELL FROM THE MOMENT I WALKED IN.

I have to tell you this place was great, the stylist are wonderful, they all seem to get along, the salon is very well kept up. It has a unique design. Very personable. They give you a robe, coffee and a great experience. There was only one problem, the recepetionist who thought more of herself and her fashion show than her job. I guess everyone cant be great, but luckily you only have to see her once on the way out.!!

My stylist did a great job. In fact, it was one of the best haircuts I've had. Unfortunately, the blonde receptionist was very unfriendly, snooty and cold. Management needs to hire a receptionist that is warm, friendly and welcoming. Even though I had a great cut, I'm reluctant to return due to the cold receptionist.

After a less than positive experience at another location, I responded to an email discount offering explaining why I was no longer a customer. The owner, Larry Dunlap, asked me to give the salon another try (on him) to either win me back or at least make up for the previous visits. I was very pleasantly surprised not only at the level of service, but the amazing haircut, engaging conversation and the very positive creative energy of the salon. The other clients who came and went while I was there were obviously repeat customers who were all very pleased with their results.Will I go back on my own dime? Yes, I will. Its been a month since my last visit to the sallon in Cam. village and my hair still looks AMAZING! I owe it all to Larry Dunlap. He gave me great feedback about my ideas for the perfect haircolor and helped me decide to try out a darker shade for a change. Great cut and color. Huge help.

I have been going to Cameron Village's Hair Color Xperts for awhile now. I have tried out all the stylists and I have absolutely loved it. Recently i have been going to the new girl Cassie and i have been very pleased but i wouldn't be afraid to try anyone else if she couldn't get me in. I have never walked out of there dissappointed. It has been one of the best places i have ever gone. I have tried out so many salons in Raleigh and have been very let down. I feel so comfortable when I am in there and I really love how clean it is and how sweet everyone is to EVERYONE!!! I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to go there and i have. If you are looking for a new hair stylist i would say hands down go to Hair color Xperts. I have never been more satisfied with my hair than i am now... THANKS HAIR COLOR XPERTS!!!

Until now, I didn't realize that there was a forum to "rate" local businesses. I went to a male stylist/colorist for a cut and color/highlights. The receptionist was obviously having a bad day, as she was very unfriendly. The stylist was very nice and listened to my concerns. I brought along several pictures of the color and style that I wanted; I also told him, very clearly, what I did NOT want. To be brief, I wanted natural-looking caramel blonde highlights and a minimal trim for the ends of my hair. When he was done, I had very orange, brassy, striped hair w/ a few platinum blonde/greenish streaks. I guess that I should've turned around and left the salon when I first walked in and saw that most of the stylists had very dramatic, chunky, unnatural-looking haircolor....however, I thought that, being professionals, I would get what I requested. I spent over $200 for his "services". As I previously stated, he was extremely nice....but, with results like that, I was afraid to complain. I knew that I wouldn't get my money refunded and that I would be unable to trust anyone there to "fix" my hair. While it did get many comments from family and friends, they weren't the kind that I wanted. Lesson learned: walk away from any hairstylist/colorist/salon who has/have haircolor or a style that is unflattering.

I will make this short and sweet...I went to Haircolorexperts in Cary and had an amazing experience with a stylist. After moving into Raleigh, I figured I would take my business to Cameron Village to save myself 25 minutes. It was an awful, awful idea.

I have NEVER cried in a stylists chair until Haircolorexperts at Cameron Village. My hair was awful! I had asked the stylist in our "consultation" to trim up my layers and keep my length because I was growing my hair longer. I wanted life and bounce in my hair, so I also asked for her to texturize the layers, so they did not look choppy. During our consultation, she seemed a little spacey, but I thought that might just be her personality, so I went with it. She was very nice and friendly while cutting my hair and I was impressed at how straight she managed to style it. Then she handed me the mirror to look closely at my hair, and the tears welled up in my eyes...

She had chopped at least 4 inches from my TOP layer, making my longest layer and shortest layer at least 7 inches apart, and the layers were horribly choppy and each stood on their own instead of blending together. My hair had a mushroom shape at the top, due to the thickness of the top, way-too-short, layer and then ended in a stringy mess that was my bottom layer that was way-too-thin. I looked like a bad version of an 80's rocker chick.

I cried. I cried in public. She asked how to fix it, but short of chopping 7 inches off of my hair to even it out, I didn't see any way to do that. She had someone else look at it, and they said it looked fine...?!?!?!?! It was then that I decided I would not allow the hair butchers of Cameron Village to "fix" my botched haircut, even when they called to check in on me. Why would I let them cut my hair again??? They had already ruined it once!

Lucky for me, my story has a light at the end of the tunnel: Stacie at Salon Moxie in Raleigh - go see her instead of this butcher shop, trust me.

That's the only name you need to know when choosing a new stylist. Cassie was very concerned with what I had in mind for my hair, as well as helpful when I asked questions. She wasn't pushy and she is so so polite. I chose Cassie because of her other reviews and bubbly personality. I was not dissapointed and have told everyone I know how I LOVE my hair now. I will use no one else. Although I really don't have to tell anyone because they always ask who does my hair. Thanks again Hair Color Xperts!!

I've lived in Raleigh for three years now, and finally found a salon I actually like. I did a lot, and I mean a lot, f searching and hated everything else. For my first two years I would drive up to Delware where my parents live, to get a good haircut. I tried Hair Color at Cameron Village and got Michelle and have been happy ever since. I change my mind more than anyone I know and have gone from brown to blonde and in between and Michelle has always been awesome! She works with me and gives me her honest opinion about what will make me look best while still keeping in mind exactly what I want. Overall, I've finally found a salon I'm happy with and plan on staying with them and MIchelle!

went for a consulantation and was shown a hair color I liked and was told a price for the service. went back a week later and the color turned out completely differnt and looked awful. Plus I was charged $50 more than the original price quote!!

I got my hair cut last week by a stylist named Charles! He did such a good job! I was nervous going to a different salon, but my other hair stylist moved away. SO I went to the Haircolorxperts in Cameron Village, and I've never had my hair styled so well. He knew exactly how to manage and style my hair, without adding pounds of product. Definitely the best head massage I've ever had ! I've already scheduled my next appointment!

I just got my haircut with Sarah and she was excellent!! I brought a picture with me and for the first time ever I was able to achieve exactly what I saw in the picture. She made my hair look better than it ever has. I have gone to stylists and she is seriously the best I have found. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great hairstylist who is detailed and gives you exactly what you want!!

I have been in Raleigh for 6 years and I have finally a stylist I can stick with. I have been to other salons and they were acceptable, but I was always somewhat dissatisfied, I'm very particular. I especially needed someone who is good at cutting my hair short, but also long. Basically, I wanted someone who is truly talented. Well, I've finally met Sarah, and she is fantastic. The first time in a long time I wasn't compelled to take scissors to my hair AFTER my haircut.

She really listened to what I wanted and made great suggestions as to how that would and wouldn't work with my hair type. Exactly what I needed. I also have issues with my hair holding color, and she really took the time and some extra steps to make my color take.

Overall, very good service and a very reasonable value (especially with the NCSU discount).

Sarah at Haircolorxperts in Cameron Village just did a wonderful job coloring over an ugly yellow hair dye job that I had and turning it into a nuanced and pastel two-toned blonde color that looks balanced, natural and flattering. I liked her professionalism, clear expertise and listening skills (she more than once was quick to adapt her experience and instinct to what I expressed in term of preferences). I also admired how she handled it when a coworker approached her and put down a client for cutting her own hair (it wasn't mean-- just young-sounding)-- Sarah was polite but didn't feed it, simply turning back to her work. I've been to several good salons in NYC and San Francisco, and this is one of the best color jobs that I've yet had (and I've had many). For all of these reasons, I'll definitely be back to Sarah and highly recommend her. I haven't much experience with her haircuts yet, but I have the feeling that I'll be just as pleased.

I was really nervous about attending the wedding of one of my oldest friends because my look had not changed in about 10 years. I went to Haircolorxperts hoping that I could get a young, hip look that would leave people in awe. Luckily, this place knew what it was doing. I saw Jennifer B, who offered up ideas that I had never considered before. When I left I could believe what a wonderful job she did. I got a million compliments at the wedding and everyone wanted to know who did my hair.

I recently moved to Raleigh and desperately needed someone to give my a needed cut and color. After reading numerous reviews on citysearch, I booked an appointment with Sarah Pohl at haircolorxperts. After reading so may positive reviews, I wondered if haircolorxperts could possibly live up to what I had read online. I was not disappointed - Sarah made suggestions based on my hair type, current color and what I wanted. She did a fantastic job and I have never received so many compliments on my hair! I am thoroughly pleased with Sarah and intend to visit her again.

Haircolorxperts is a great salon in the Triangle if you want to try out a new style. After years of sporting the same boring shoulder-length brown hair, I knew that I wanted a change but did not know where to start. Luckily, I was in good hands. I saw a stylist named Stacie and she was able to provide some great suggestions about what would look good for me. She recommended an adorable bob haircut and highlights to lighten up my hair.

I originally went to HCX based on a friend's recommendation. I got a stylist that I knew nothing about, which made me a little nervous, but I went with it...and it turned out to be the best haircut that I've ever had! I would recommend Jennifer B. to anyone who is looking for a new stylist. In my experience, she has completely understood what I wanted out of each haircut and has made it happen. The salon atmosphere is friendly and inviting--it is apparent that customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance.

If you choose HCX, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the stylists...but I can personally recommend Jennifer B. with full confidence!!

Most importantly, they know how to help you decide on what to do with your hair. I?ve been seeing Charles Roa for the past few visits. I was astonished to see that a chain like Haircolorxperts was able to be so personable and customer-oriented. I saw Manuel Eason and was impressed by how he was able to make me feel comfortable about trying out trendy haircut. You must see Sarah Pohl! I moved to Raleigh from Denver several years ago and looked and looked for the best stylist! Finally, Sarah came into my hair's life and I now have incredible color, cut and a true "style". I have a trendy but sophisticated style that only Sarah can do. The salon has great energy and appears to be on the cutting edge of hair stylist techniques and color. I strayed from Sarah and suffered the woes of bad color and very bad cuts; I begged her to fix my experiments, which she did immediately and I will stay where my hair is well taken care of from now on!. Call her and set an appointment, you will not be sorry!

I recently moved to Raleigh and was nervous to find a new hair stylist..after moving here i flew back to Philly often enough to get my hair done but i knew it was about time to find a person in the Raleigh area. I live near the Cameron Village area so i thought i would give Hair Color Experts a try and i am so glad i did. Sara Pohl is the best...i went to her after trying someone else in the area who gave me and a friend the same haircut when we both asked for different things...I get my hair cut and colored by sara, she listened to what i wanted and then told me what she thought would be good for me and it turned out great. now i dont feel the need to fly to philly every 6 weeks. I recommend sara to anyone. she makes you feel comfortable and relaxed which is important when you are getting your hair done.

I was in desperate need of a makeover. I have never had a style I was completely satisfied with, so I figured what did I have to lose with trying something new. When I sat down with Gail Lambert at Haircolorxperts I told her to do whatever she wanted. I was so excited with the results and truly feel like a new woman. My visit to Haircolorxperts was great. The staff is extremely upbeat and cheerful but extremely professional at the same time. I have wanted to try a new salon in hopes of finding a stylist that actually understands what I want my hair to look like. Jennifer Eckersley listened to me but also offered her own opinions to ensure I would be satisfied with my new look. I was hesitant at first, but as she explained each detail of the process to me all my fears went out the window. Needless to say I am very happy with my new look and will be going back to Jennifer very soon.

I?m not one to take the time to leave comments on websites such as this, but my experience at Haircolorxperts could not go unmentioned. I am one of the pickiest people in the world and a hairstylist?s worst nightmare I?m sure. I was thrilled with my color and cut given to me by Jennifer Bryant. At first I put up my wall but it was quickly knocked down as Jennifer began the cut and color process. I trusted her completely within a matter of minutes and the finished product left me so pleased. Any stylist that can make this woman happy surely deserves a recommendation, so ladies I would highly recommend paying a visit to Jennifer. She is outstanding!

Not enough words to describe how pleased I am with Sarah. It is good to deal with someone who is very good at what they do and takes pride in what she does. Even on a bad day, she is better than the rest. Listens to her clients, makes suggestions and then does a marvelous job. Also kudos to the reception staff, espefially Katherine. They are constantly friendly and go out of their way to make it a positive experience to visit. I highly recommend this salon.

I wanted an incredible hairstyle that would have people asking me where in the world I got it. Sarah Pohl was the woman for the job. I sat down, told her my expectations and just like that my hair was transformed. She is wonderful and the stylists around her seem to be just as admired. Whenever I see that my hair is less than up to par, I call Sarah to make an appointment and I know my worries will soon be over. Haircolorxperts is the best and if you have not tried this salon, you should!

I've just recently moved to Raleigh - and given the fact I had only three weeks from job acceptance to move, I wan't able to visit my usual salon prior to my departure. Once settled in somewhat, I phoned Haircolorxperts in Cameron Village and was able get an appointment that met my schedule. I cannot, cannot express how impressed I am with with salon, all of its employees and my stylist/colourist, Jennifer. I've got tragically bad hair - and Jennifer was not only able to give me the colours I wanted - but also gave me a cut that's just fabulous.

I cannot, cannot tell you how pleased I am with Haircolorxperts and Jennifer. I look forward to my next visit.

A few months ago, when I was notified that hcx was closing on capital blvd. (one day notice while I was calling to make an appt. btw), I called hcx in Cameron Village and was fortunate enough to receive a consultation with Jennifer. During each appt., she has consistently held a professional demeanor, asking me to describe what I'd like to have done and then explaining exactly which colors she's using and how she determined that they would work best with my specific needs. I have been happy with every single treatment and service I've received. Jennifer is an extremely skilled colorist and stylist - it is obvious to me that she has received advanced training and is a key team member of the Cameron Village hcx. Overall, the entire staff is professional and works together well to provide clients high quality service.

I have been a repeat customer at Haircolorxperts for a long time now and I could not be happier with this salon. Each visit, I look forward to interacting with the staff and receiving a beautiful hairstyle that I am extremely satisfied with. Manuel Eason has taken care of me for a while now and each time I visit him I know I am going to get amazing results. I could not imagine going anywhere else in Raleigh and being any happier with the results. Haircolorxperts has completely won me over!

M.glenn came straight to my house after he hair fiasco. We went into the bathroom to check out the color it was the just strange with a green hue. We discussed she should go somewhere else the next day. She went to Lux and is very happy. She called Lux to tell them if this salon calls to let them know what the hair was like. Then i was shown the message left by the woman who CLAIMS she was by my friend. WHo is jennifer. mglenn told me Gail did her hair. i don't know what games this salon is playing on my friend. but obviously someone is very embarrassed. all i know is that when mglenn saw jennifer give the look to the green haired guy she said she shut up. then jennifer stammered and said she was giving looks to that guy like that. then the guy got into it and compared mglenn to some crzy customer who asked if the hot lights helped with blackheads. THE PERSON WHO WROTE SHOCKING SHOCKING SHOCKING IS PROBABLY dunlap or jennifer...it seems they have no problems with deception. mglenn was not told to shut up for what she was talking about ==she told me she was told to shut up after Gail went on and on and on about 'r your feelings hurt becuz of what they did etc. meaning the look 'jenn' made. when gail would not leave the issue alone and mglenn felt she had to say something THEN JENNIFER TURNED and said i don't think u should be talking u r making people uncomfortable. mglenn told me that she asked jennifer what she had said that was so bad when those 2 were talking the same stuff.

FOLKS WHO VALUE UR HAIR COLOR AND STYLE. I LEFT THAT SALON WITH GREEN HAIR AND PATCHY HILITS LOWLITS. LUX SALON FIXED IT BY THE DELIGHTFUL ERICA. DUNLAP CALL LUX AND ASK ABOUT MY HAIR OR CALL ME AND WE CAN MEET TO DISCUSS THIS. FOLKS, REMEMBER IF HE IS GOING TO NOT GET THE CLIENT'S SIDE WHICH IS STUPID I WAS MORE CONCERN WITH THE AWFUL HAIR COLOR BY A MASTER COLORIST THEN HE IS NOT GOING TO LISTEN TO YOU EITHER IF ONE OF HIS EMPLOYEES LIES ABOUT YOU WHEN YOU GET A HORRIBLE HAIR JOB. the message left by the owner is erronous and a way to save face.MY HAIR WAS GREEN WHEN I LEFT. SHOCKING SHOCKING SHOCKING to read the complaint from Mglenn as I was sitting next to her last night at the salon & thought to myself "God, I hope my hair comes out looking as good as hers." I have 20/20 vision & I am not colorblind, so if her hair was green then mine must be also.

I am a frequent patron of the Cameron HCX & have never had a bad experience at this salon, my husband & I both go to Jennifer & think she is fabulous. We have always found the staff at this salon to be excellent.
I like going to places where everyone works together as a team & gets along. I can assure you Larry Dunlap, the owner, is a great businessman & not affraid to terminate anyone who screws up.

I highly recommend this salon, I got 3 compliments on my new color from my co-workers this morning & felt beautiful all day long. I value Jennifer's sensitivity & thank her for asking this other woman to pipedown as she was running off at the mouth about her past with bad men & controlled substances. I was trying to have a nice experience and it was apropriate for the staff to turn off her soap opera.

I am in love with my trendy new hairstyle. My life has become so hectic that I had forgotten what it was like to be trendy. I went to Haircolorxperts in need of a change. A pampering experience that would give me a chance to relax and update my not so dated hairstyle. I made my appointment with Charles Roa and I was blown away! He is so creative but not too much for my style. I am now taking the time to maintain my new look and I couldn?t be happier. Haircolorxperts was exactly what I needed.

I have been searching for a stylist since I moved here over a year ago. After visiting a few different salons I decided to try Hair Color Experts in Cameron Village over the weekend. The atmosphere is very welcoming as soon as you step in the door. The receptionist is really friendly and offers to take your coat as soon as you arrive. She even gives you a rose as you leave! My stylist was Manuel who was awesome! I will definitely be back to see him. He gave me an amazing new look! I am very pleased with my cut & color. He even gave me a few pointers on how to deal with my super curly hair! I absolutely recommend this salon!

I do not recommend this salon. I expected a great cut and color for the price I paid and did not receive either. Before you even get your hair wet you must sign a form that states what level the stylist is and how much they charge. Maybe that is where the problem lies. What they cosider a master stylist is someone that has completed school?? Good luck to all of you brave first timers!

I have been going to Jennifer at HCX's Cameron Village location and she is incredible. My hair has never looked so good - I get tons of compliments and the amazing thing is that it grows out so well that I can go months between color appointments (though I don't like to!) Jennifer is very creative when it comes to color - she recommended a color technique that I never would have tried and it's fantastic - totally compliments my skin tone and eyes. Everyone at this salon is very nice and professional.

I love getting my hair dont at haircolorxperts! They cater to each of your every need, and make you feel right at home! I especially adore my hairdresser Manuel. I dont really even have to say anything and I he knows exactly what I want. He is also really funny, and makes me laugh everytime I see him. I have never left their with a bad hair cut or hair color! It is definatley the best hair place I have been.

I'd been looking for two years for a stylist who would give me something a bit wild & edgy instead of nicey-nice. Gail at Haircolorxperts in Cameron Village did an amazing job, giving me an asymmetrical cut with red & blue coloring that is sophisticated and fun, not silly. She really listened to what I wanted and didn't laugh when I showed her a photo of a model half my age to use as inspiration. I've also seen her do a fabulous "big silver bubble" cut and set on elderly woman who left with a big smile and a great modern cut on a young entrepreneur-type guy, so she's very versatile too.

The salon itself is very friendly and comfortable. Someone has always offered to take my coat (if I have one) and offered me something to drink. Everyone is friendly and talented. I like how the stylists consult with each other if they have any questions.

I've gotten lots of compliments and aways smile when I look in the mirror. Highly recommended.

I went to HCX a few times now. Each time, Manuel Eason finds a way to give perfect highlights and lowlights. Everybody there is very friendly and welcoming. I have gone to other places such as cherry bomb and atomic and neither did nearly as good of a job enhancing my style. I would recommend going.

I looked for a salon in Raleigh for awhile after moving here and finally have found one that's worth keeping! HCX has a great atmosphere with music playing, typically a movie playing (muted so as to not be annoying to others) and offers their clients drinks while getting their hair done. Emanuel, my stylist, is always open to helping me find a new stlyle that would suit my features well and takes time with my foils. Since i am very particular about my color I greatly appreciate his attention to detail. Since this is a high class salon and can run a bit more expensive then some places, their 15% discount for students (at least NC State students, but i think all students) is very attractive to me as well. If you are new to the area or just want a change from your current salon i HIGHLY suggest trying HCX.

Great atmosphere and stylists! Sarah does a great job every time. She and the other stylists truly care about your hair. I have been going to Sarah for four years now. The people there are friendly and professional. I have recommended many people to Haircolorxperts Cameron Village and they always thank me for it later. You gotta try it!

Charles saved my hair! I hilited my own hair(bad idea) andturned it a sort of calico color. The receptonist was able to get me in on Sunday afternoon and he fixed it for me. It looked waaaaay better. Nice people and Charles will keep you laughing.

I have been using Sarah at haircolorxperts for over a year. She does a fantastic job of chatting you up to find out exactly what color, style, and look you are aiming for. Sarah is very meticulous with highlights, always perfectly placed and perfectly complement my hair color. She also cuts to your specifications and styles hair to be dazzling. I always leave with hcx's gift of a long stemmed rose and feeling like a million bucks!

Haircolorxperts (HCX) is one of the best hair salons I've ever used. The shop's atmosphere is professional, fresh and modern. Larry Dunlap does a fabulous job analyzing your facial features and tailors a cut that is just right for you - highlighting your individual strengths. From the neck massage after the shampoo to the long-stemmed rose they give you when you leave, a trip to HCX is more like an appointment at a spa than just a haircut! The stylists are great with kids too, blending kids' desires and mom's requirements in a perfect cut.

I love the salon. Have never had a bad haircut nor a bad color job. The atmosphere is alway jovial - have never felt any bad vibes among the stylist. I've had my hair cut by both Gail and Larry, and have ALWAYS been satisified. Gail has colored my hair a few times and the color has always been perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone.
