This is one of my favorite stores. You can find some real jewels and treasures in there for very cheap. Large selection of clothes and appliances. The one thing that I hate so much, is that there is not a fitting room to try anything on. People stand in the middle of the aisles trying on clothes. It's so annoying. But the guy that works there named Melvin is awesome!! Just try not to be spotted by him because he will talk your ears off for about an hour. And he follows you around. I personally have become friends with him after shopping there so much, but he can drive you crazy. He is the skinny old man that usually has on a hat and a jacket. He stands out among all the other employees. You cant miss him.

I used to love going in to Value Village in Mooresville, but now they have 2 Mexican girls that are very rude that are managers. Who in the world put them in charge? I thought to be an asst . manager you had to have people skills. These ladies clearly do not . They will stand around talking "their" language looking straight at you . Is this America or what ??

I was visiting my daughter during the Thanksgiving Holidays, and she took me in the Kannapolis Value Village. I wanted to purchase a sofa, but as I was 2 hours away from my home, I did not have a truck at my disposal, I talked to the Mexican manager(who was very rude(the hours of 7 to 8 p.m.on the Sat. after Thanksgiving) I said I would pay for the sofa, if they could put it in the back, till I could ride home, get the truck and come back for it....he said if they put it in the back, someone of the employees would cut it up!! I offered to lay it away, to pay for it, but no go! You buy it, it goes out the door with you! If it had not been so cold, I would have let my grandson, sit out front on the sofa for 4 hours until, I got the truck and came back.....No I would not have done that to my grandson. But I do think they need to hire polite employees and fire the ones that are cutting up merchandise. I cannot understand the policy of not letting someone pay for something and let them get a vechicle to take it home, it wasn't for a day, it was for about 3 1/2 hours. And like the other lady in one of the reviews, I also noticed them using the store for a daycare. I also showed him my drivers license so that he would know I was from out of town. I just didn't understand his (POLICY)?????

We go to Value Village every week. The only problem is that the manager will let the Hispanic workers stand at the end of the isles with buggies pretending to stock the shelves. They will not let you by and pretend they don't hear you.All they are doiningis standing there laughing and cutting up.Alot of people left there thos sat. for that reason. We know the manager sees it but walks right by.I applied for a job there about a year ago and I know they have hired atleast 30 people sience then. Please,Please I need that kind of job.Seariously people,go to Value Village in Mooresville and see the difference in the ways the stores are run. It is amazing.

Thank You Very Much

Very rude employees. Recently my daughter made a purchase and cashier rung up wrong amount and would not refund the overage. The merchandise was not taken out of the store-she found the mistake while I was being checked out. The "person in charge" said they didn't give refunds, she would have to take it merchandise. When I tried to explain that it wasn't a refund, it was a mistake, she told me in a very rude voice, "I'm not talking to you, this is between me and this lady". She told me to stay out of it. This was very embarrassing to be talked to like this in front of other customers.
Also, they let children play with the toys, resulting in them being strewn all over the aisles, making it unsafe as well as difficult to go down these aisles. I believie they let their employees bring their children to work, and use the toy dept as a babysitter. The other VV stores are not this messy.

A few weeks ago Value Village had all clothes 1/2 price. As the day went on they marked almost everything in the store half price. This is my favorite place to just hang out in. I also come out with some of the best deals. I have found NEW Levi's with the TAGS still on for 4.00 a pr. I have also gotten NEW Reeboks in the past.

PROS: Great Prices, Good selections.
CONS:

Value Village is by far my FAVORITE place to shop :0) I have purchased things from children's clothes to a shower stool for someone who is handicapped. Deals are made to be found all of the time. I try to get by there at least once a week.

PROS: great selections.
CONS: No dressing rooms

I used to be in the resale business. I would always go to Value Village Thrift Store to find some bargains. I always found great things there and at great prices. They have just about everything. A very large selection of clothing and sometimes you can find brand new stuff there. The staff is nice and the store is always clean.
