My son loves this daycare. We have been going for over a year. The teachers are great, the kids seem to really enjoy being in class. Sometimes my son cries when he has to leave :-) They are awesome!

Immediately deleted negative review. Everything was true, but everything happened years ago. Besides, it is obvious to me that the problems at the CDC have not changed. It is a pity that your "Terms & Conditions" at times can work against the right to know of the general public, especially when the welfare of their children is concerned.

Honestly, i used to work at this facility for four years. When i get a job, i am very dedicated to it and respect the fact that i was employed in the first place. I am also hard working and i love my job (which is working with infants). The Supervisors were very helpful in one particular way. But the fact is that when you are motivated and happy to come to your job every morning, and then you get unexpected lay off, how do you feel? I was the lead teacher in this daycare and loved to communicate with the parents so that they know their child are secure and safe at all times without having to worry about anything. What i am trying to say is that the supervisors don't care about the excellent and hard working teachers, and fire them for no reasons. If i were you, i would think many times before working or taking your child to this center.

I have two children presently in Children's Discovery Center. My son is now four years old and has been there since he was 3 months old. My daughter is now 15 months old and has also been there since she was 3 months old.

We absolutely love the center and have been very pleased with the attention and care that everyone gives to each child. One of the aspects that I liked when my son began at the center was having the classes separated into 3-5 month age groups, instead of a whole year. I particularly appreciated this being a new mom dropping off a 3 month old infant that could not even crawl for him NOT to be in with older infants already crawling or walking as you sometimes see in other centers.

Children are gradually shifted up to the next class every 3-4 months, based on age and readiness. He has done well with the changing to another class as he knows all of the children in the class that he is moving up to since it is done gradually. This helps ease him into another class. It also allows him to have interaction with more children. The center is very good about allowing a child to have some blocks of time in the next class before they are put in the class, to help ease the transition.

Also, as he progresses through the classes, 3 for each year, it allows him to develop an appreciation and ability in dealing with different teaching styles and mannerisms with the different teachers. I feel this will better prepare him for when he is sent to elementary school where he will be better equipped to handle working with different teachers, different teaching styles and different personalities

I give this center an A+.

We had our son there for about a year and a half and the pros were the facility is very nice, including the outdoor areas for the children.
The cons were there was way too much teacher turnover and not enough communication from the owners/administrators regarding the changes in our child's classroom.
It bothered us enough to leave the center and when I gave my 30 day's notice, which is too much to require, they never even asked why we were leaving and truly didn't seem to care.
You can find much more affordable care in the area and feel like you are listened to. I would not recommend this center due to the impersonal feel we had for so long there.
