What a difference a day makes. I know that I previously had great things to say about this center, but today I will be looking for another one. Yesterday, I arrived early and OMG!! As I approached the classroom door, I hear the teacher yelling at the children. I could not believe her comments. It really broke my heart. Even when the teacher saw me, her tone was still harsh. As we left, I spoke with the director and another OMG!! I can understand one teacher having a bad day, but the way the director or assistant director handled it was worse. We will be moving ASAP to another facility and this time, I will be dropping in more often.

Ditto on what my husband said. We will not tolerate this type behavior in a child care center.

First, I am shocked by the negative reviews below. But I see they are older so maybe things have drastically improved since then. This is our second daycare and we are thrilled with it. The children are happy, well-behaved and the teachers are approachable and clearly love their jobs. Our son looks forward to it and runs in the door in the morning. There is a door code but each parent has their own to enter so unless you share yours then there is no way it's not secure. On top of that you have to sign in and out with a code in the computer. We feel this facility is a great value and rooms are clean, large and bright. There is no shortage of activities and toys and children have structure and free play which is important. They also do a lot of activities like water play day on Fridays in the summer and art projects. They have parents night out and parents lunches. Overall a great facility!

Seems like how much other children are learning there is AMAZING, and almost every time I've viewed the preschool room, the kids are orderly, polite, well behaved, and QUIET. Wow. I've never seen a roomful of three and four year olds just sitting in a circle, patiently waiting for any human being. It is a sight to behold. I'm excited to see how much my little person will learn in the coming weeks.

One thing that concerns me, however, is security. There is a coded door at the entrance, but it's not been monitored very well in my experience. And I really don't see the point of locking a door if everyone has the key! Also, it would be nice to have not just a daily lesson overview, but an activity plan and SCHEDULE that we can see of what our child is doing every day, so that we can go over and reinforce it at home. (Maybe it's that we haven't asked for the right document?? But it hasn't been offered/volunteered to us.)

If Childtime tightens up security and gets a better handle on the parent/teacher relationship and keeping us involved in our child's day, this looks like it could be an awesome place for learning and growth.

Our son has only just started this week, but he seems to really like it there, and the teachers really seem to care and have *excellent* "control" over the kids. (I don't mean that they're controlling of course, but that the class is not unruly when it's time to sit down and get things done!) Our son says he has fun, which is also important in a learning environment. I plan to update this review in the coming weeks/months with more information on the above.

PROS: Structure/Order; Well-Behaved Children; Kids Learn a Lot; Caring Teachers
CONS: Poor Security; Ambiguous/Inconsistent Parent-Teacher Involvement
