This is the typical record store for when you want a true "independent" record store. They have both used and new, with the emphasis placed on indie/rare selections. They also sell a lot of vinyl as well. Great place with great hours!

I love that clicky sound the CDs make when you're flipping through them. The staff is usually very knowledgeable about music, and it's easy to listen to any CD before you buy it. Sometimes you can find great deals on used CDs-- I think I bought a Cranberries album for $3.

Sometimes on my lunch breaks I like to go to the record exchange, and just sit and listen to a CD I've never heard before for a while. They also have a huge selection of used CDs which can make for some fun cheap listening. Try taking in $5 and purchasing a few of the dollar CDs that look interesting. you might find a few gems.

Good prices...good parking...great store

the Record exchange is a great place to get terrific music. Most small independent record stores have been taklen over by the larger chains...yet the record exchange has remained strong.

You can purchase vinal, cds, and record for all your favorite bands at the store. Some CdDs are more expensive than they would be if you purcahsed them at target or Wal-mart...but you have the opportunity to support a independent store.

The store will often have small local bands preform, and the staff is always knowledgeable on all types of music and can make good reccomendations for new music to try.
