great restaurant for family  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

The restaurant was not too crowded depending on what times and day of the week you go in. The prices are reasonable and the serving of the food are enough to fill you up. However, the egg rolls was not up to expectation..it look messy and didn't taste good.

Very good food, great service for a chinese restaurant 4 Star Rating - Very good

Went to Imperial Garden based on the reviews in this site. We had very good service and the Orange Chicken was the best I've ever had. The fried rice was really good too. The place did smell a little funny when you first walked in, but it looked clean overall. My husband and I will go there again.

Pros: Very good food and service
Cons: Atmosphere needs some work

THE BEST!!! 5 Star Rating - World class

Imperial Garden is one of our favorite spots in the area!!! The owners/waitstaff always greet us with smiles and make us feel very welcome. I have a hard time finding restaurants that are able to cook my food with splenda and it still taste great. I wasn't sure if they offered that until I asked and the response I got was hilarious: "Burger King isn't the only place where you can 'Have it your way!"" When we don't know what we are in the mood for, they recommend dishes to us and they have all been delicious! There are so many Chinese restaurants around the area and we are glad that we have found THE BEST!!!

Pros: Great food and atmosphere
Cons: None

Best Chinese food in the Triangle 5 Star Rating - World class

Prompt, friendly service. Fried Dumplings and Shrimp with Black Bean Sauce are incredible. This is among the best Chinese restaraunts on the planet. Curry Beef and Kung-Pao Chicken are also very tasty. I eat there at least once a week.

Pros: Excellent food

THIS IS MY FAVORITE CHINESE RESTAURANT IN THE COUNTRY!!! 5 Star Rating - World class

I have been eating here for over five years now, ever since I moved to the Raleigh area. I have lived all over the US and never found a place that is more consistant over the years. The food is delicious and the staff is very accomodating and friendly. Any special requests are never a problem here. I'd love to choose a favorite, but I am having a hard time. I think I most often crave the Kung Pao Chicken. You can get this cooked anywhere from very mild to extremely spicy depending on your mood. They have many delicious vegetarian dishes as well. The soups are all excellent....you can't go wrong.
Try this place....you will not be sorry....I guarantee it!

Pros: Top-Notch food and excellent service every time.
Cons: Only one location...

Not chinese food. 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

I not really sure the food is actually chinese! The spring roll looked like a taco. It was drenched in a sugary brown sauce. The dumplings had sauage meat in them. The entrees contained a rubber beef b/c of the large amount of fat on the meat. And once again that sugar sauce was soaked into the beef.. You know, the kind of sugar consistancy that leaves a film on your teeth. Eek! I do not need a cavity! Needless to say, my husband and I only consumed the white rice. I believe the restaurant has OVER americanized it's food. Also the table was dirty and the booth was very uncomfortable b/c of the rips and backside indentation. I was swolled into a gluteus maxiumus black hole. Don't waste your hard earned money!

Pros: good water
Cons: not good for diabetics.
