Oasis Day Spa

I'm new to the city, went in for a facial and had a decent experience. Some spas are in loud parts of town, this is in alone in a building and allows for a very relaxing experience. The downfall was that I got the facial which included a neck and arms massage. I did not receive this part of the service. It was a great facial, but probably could have been a little less expensive, considering I didn't receive part of the service.

During an appointment for a pedicure I was given a message chair that was out of service. When I inquired, the attendant said the chair had not worked properly for some time and several requests had been made for repair, however, the chair remained out of service for appointments. I was asked to complete a comment card to bring this again to the owner's attention. Even with this, the attendant had a sinus reaction and kept leaving the room to manage her allergies. Wow, this was supposed to be my pamper time. My confirmed appointment made weeks in advance, began several minutes late. There are too many inconsistencies with service. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My niece was visiting Charlotte for her spring break and I wanted to treat her to a day at the spa. The package that I purchased for her was the ?Queen for the day?, and after she had completed her time she said the staff made her feel like a queen.

I also had 3 treatments, and all were excellent. All of the staff went above and beyond, from the staff that greeted us when we arrived to the staff that performed the services. I was so pleased with my experience that I booked a facial and I am looking forward to returning in a few weeks.

I would recommend Oasis to anyone who is looking for a new spa. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

Pros: Everything was Superior

I've visited Oasis several times and I'm never disappointed. Oasis will always be at the top of my list to visit. I'm always pleased with their customer service. I'm never let down in any way.

Unfortunately I can't speak to the actual services that Oasis provides because while I received a $150 gift card for Christmas, I didn't look at the back of it until it was 2 months past the expiration date. I called to see if they would be lenient on the date and they said no. It is certainly my fault for not checking to see if there was an expiration date when I got it, but they also need to have some more leniency in their policy. So, needless to say. . in a town with dozens of great spas to chose from, Oasis is now off my list of possibilities.

I have been to this spa several times for a variety of services from massage to facial to pedicure. I have never been disappointed with the service I received. Everyone tries very hard to make sure you are in a comfortable and relaxed state the entire time. I will be going back for future services.

Pros: Excellent service, Calming Atmosphere

I had a great time at Oasis I would recommend it to anyone. I can't wait to visit again. I had a hot stone massage that was out of this world. The front desk staff helped me to pick out my services. I have never been to a spa like Oasis and I will be going back very soon.

My family is coming in from out of town and they tried to make a reservation for manicures/pedicures. My cousin was told to go online, fax in the reservation . . . basically to jump through hoops. No one ever called to confirm like they said they would. A few days before we were supposed to go there, my cousin called and they said "Oh, well, we don't have that many manicurists on the day you want to come in anyway". I thought they were supposed to be so good. But, I will NEVER go there for any service.

I have found my favorite place to go for my me time. Everything was great at Oasis. When I walked in, there was a fragrance that was in the air that made me anticipate what else was waiting for me.

I loved my facial. 'The Mardi Gras.' I had two masks that were customized! Other places I just get one. The Clinician was soooooo relaxing. Her hands and the lavender oils used carried me away. ( I think I snored when I fell asleep) Hot Stone Massage is what I'll always get from now on. This was an experience I was not expecting. After laying them on my body for a few minutes they massaged me with them!

Even my bikini wax was pleasant considering what you have to go through but the Clinician kept me comfortable. Can you imagine a comfortable bikini wax. (smile)

From the housekeeper to management who asked if she could assist me with anything after she introduced herself.

I did read the negative comment written about them and I have to say that as great of an experience that I had if something had gone wrong I'd have to forgive them quickly because they just seemed so sincere and genuine. I am looking forward to getting another Hot Stone Massage.

I visited Oasis Day Spa and had a delightful time. I have visited many spa in my travels, so I've had all kinds of experiences. What I liked about Oasis was the friendly staff and warm environment. I felt really comfortable and relaxed. They have the nicest paint colors and artwork - very unique. I had a facial, pedicure and massage which were great. One of the best massages I've ever had by a therapist name Dee (try her) when you go! I bought my mother a gift certificate for her birthday while I was there because I think she would really feel comfortable at Oasis. They don't have as much retail as some spas I've visited, but they had enough. I did buy some recommended skin care products and the nail polish that was used on my nails. I highly recommend this spa. It's near downtown Charlotte, has parking in the front and back so you don't have to worry about that. I left feeling great - I will go back and I am sending my mother.

Pros: Clean, warm and inviting, friendly staff, easy parking, great services, great prices

Cons: Though they have a pretty good selection of retail to sell, they could add a few more things to choose from

I'm glad I found this sight to share with you my exerience with you about Oasis Day Spa. I visit Oasis frequently. My massage therapist and esthetician both have been there for over five years and the staff makes me feel as though I am a part of the family. If I need to get in and do not have a scheduled appointment they will try to accommodate me even if they need to stay a little later. But if it does not work out I am most comfortable with other therapists and clinicians that work there to perform my service. I've never been disappointed. I also like the quaintness about Oasis. It's not so big with so many people running around that I feel lost in the unfamiliar faces. It's intimate and charming. I love it there. K. Smith

I was given a gift certificate to Oasis Day Spa and loved everything about my visit. They have a great staff who made my visit special. The lady who did my facial was very helpful and the massage therapist was great. I thought the building was charming and the warm paint colors were beautiful. I hope my husband sends be there again next year. I highly recommend this spa. I had a great time. Everything about my visit was great!!!

My friend and I recently visited Oasis and had a wonderful time. They have created a charming spa atmosphere and everyone was extremely nice. It was my friend's birthday and when we checked in the receptionist said to her "happy birthday!" We had facial, massages and nail services. I felt the value was great after comparing their prices to other spas in Charlotte. I highly recommend this spa if you are looking for a place that makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. Their spa treatments were great too!!! We plan to go back very soon.

I planned a spa package for my sister and I. While making the appointments, I stressed to do the treatments with my sister - that didn't happen. On the day of the package, after calling was given wrong directions and was subsequently 10 minutes late. As we walked in, what I encountered was not a calming spa experience but a hurried mess. We felt pressured from the staff who were constantly reminding us of our lateness. I found the facility to be very old fashion and not in the way the web site described as a plantation with southern charm. After speaking with the manager, I was more enraged and felt no action on her part to have us change our opinion. After planning this day for such a long time and weighing the costs associated, I am more disappointed with myself for not completely checking it out.

The atmosphere is great, the staff is pleasant, and the products used are hypo allergenic and very affordable.
