Your letter was not futile. Pelosi may never read it, wouldn't matter to her if she did. You, and I'm proud to count myself with you, have been marginilized as anit-government extremists. Your letter matters because it struck a chord in all of us who have nearly lost hope as we watch is disbelief as the socialists grab our freedoms and personally earned treasure for their own power gains. As long as there are people like you, I'll continue to believe we can great again. Please don't give up, and thank you for your service. All of your service.

May I remind you that because of the brave men and women like Mr Guthrie, you, sir, have now this liberty to speak your mind. This liberty was not in Karl Marx's vocabulary. As you espouse his communist teachings, you might want to step back and ponder why the USSR is now gone, Germany has been reunited and Eastern Europe is now progressing more that they ever have under Communist rule. Alas the United States of America, this once-great country, is barreling down the very road that those nations have long veered away from.

Mr. Guthrie,
Bravo to you on your wonderful letter to Ms. Pelosi. Our House of Representatives just past a government run health care initiative which will bankrupt the nation and was against what the legal citizens and taxpayers of the United States want. It is hard to believe that our politicians have so little consideration for those who pay their salaries and benefits.
I will work hard to see Ms. Pelosi unseated during the next election.

Thank you so much for the letter that Princess Pelosi will no doubt never see. Even if she did, she wouldn't be able to get passed the first sentence. Fo you sir, she considers as one of the swastica wearing Nazis she refers to with such distain.
As a resident of California, I have to apologize to you and the rest of the country for this sorry excuse of a "representative". Although I do not live in her district, I intend to contribute to the campaign of ANYONE who runs against her. I urge others to do so as well no matter where they are from. She just plain has to go.
Thank you so much for for being a true patriot, for serving our country, and reminding us what being an American is really all about.

Dear Mr Guthrie, I read your letter and it felt like it was me speaking. Your eloquence is great, my hat off to you sir. Like yourself I was a member of the Armed Forces in 1968. Like yourself I ran into a lot of the ignorance and vitriol related to the war. I was proud of the uniform I wore and the meaning behind the words in our constitution. I was very proud to defend those rights that we all enjoyed. The anger that I feel now with all the lunacy that I see every day goes beyond words. Worse yet is the feeling of being powerless to do anything about it. I am a Christian man and it is against my believe to wish any harm to strike another human being. I am very close to making several exceptions to that rule.
Mr Guthrie, I thank you for your service and your words. It is encouraging to know that I am not alone in fighting this "POWER GRAB OF OUR RIGHTS AND LIBERTIES". United we stand, now and for ever in this great nation of ours, defending our constitution against all enemies...FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC!!!

I feel that our government is selling our country down the river just to keep what they have but they want to make sure that no one else has any thing. they all sit up on that hill and look down on the rest of us like we are ants to be stepped on or kept in a ant farm. The morale majorities need to get off their buts and start voting and get these traitors out of office and strip them of any perks that they would receive form their term in office and remove their titles and replace them with the brand traitor across their foreheads. I am a retired U.S. Navy enlisted sailor and proud to have served our country, I am tiered of watching our country go down the tubes, our military cut and our bases closed just to save a few bucks but watch them send our money over to countries that hate us just to build up their economy, you will have to go over seas if you want a job because there wont be any here except for the chosen ones!

I feel Mr. Guthrie was right on! It is amazing to me how many Democratic leaders especially like Nancy Pelosi have been elected although I feel many are incompetent and arrogant. Ms. Pelosi is at the top of that list. I can't wait until the 2010 elections!

Look at the dissenters. Ole' Jason is the most intelligent of the two to date. Jason criticizes the gentleman's use of quotation marks. He also criticizes the attorney for not stating that formal Socialism started only "about the same time" as the Revolutionary War ... and that Karl Marx was born after our Revolutionary War. The Post Office and census are provided for in the Constitution - and they have big problems which mainly relate to Civil Service employment issues. The Post Office is a train wreck. Politicization, as in use of ACORN, is a major flaw in the U.S. Census. Those are bad examples Jason. The attorney is senior partner in a law firm. Yes - I believe he went to college. Jason, we don't have time to read Marx. We work for a living. I feel assured though that you indeed do read Marx. Yeah, that's a shame the attorney read the Adams biography ... too bad about that. It's a big fat ole' book too! It takes a commitment of time to read something like that, and to want to be informed about a great founding father. I'm certain the counselor is well-read, given the level of education required to be in his position. Medicare is out of control, and is operating far outside of its' original intent. Free scooters was not its' intent. The V.A. is unpopular with a plurality of even VETERANS themselves. FCC ... yawn. FDA ... yawn. They're probably more union make-work programs than anything else. They also operate outside of their original intent. The IRS is more terrorist than socialist. Federal Income Tax's steady creep led to Socialism in America. Air Traffic Control is what it is because of Ronald Reagan. Reagan made sure it stayed the ATC and not the FDA or FCC. Thank you President Reagan. The Feds should have helped start the Interstate Highway System, and then given its' continuity over to the states and gotten out of their way! That government is best that governs least. Tim McVeigh is dead.

This guy went to college? Does he know that "the Founding Fathers" created the Constitution some 30 years before Karl Marx was born? Time to punctuate correctly as well. We Americans, Mr. Guthrie, put end punctuation inside the quotes. Do you think he read Marx. Gosh he read a biography of John Adams. That helps. Does he have a beef with such socialist programs as the Interstate Highway, the Post Office, Medicare, the Veteran's Administration, the FCC, the FDA, air traffic controllers, public schools, the IRS, the Census? Should I go on. Friends, when you praise the thoughts of a fellow like Mr. Guthrie you're on the way to handing Timothy McVeigh a medal.

I have been working in health care for over 35 years and take great offense by these radicals that are trying to undermine our Constitution by moving toward socialism. Mr. Guthrie, Pelosi and Boxer are both despicable pieces of excrement. I am so happy to see America finally wake up to these traitors. And to hear that Dwarf of a human Boxer dress down a decorated General. I too am ex military and I understand the concept of Duty and Respect. They both despise our country, the military and everything that our founding fathers passed on to us as a legacy of freedom. I pray that my three children will see these fools humiliated.

Thank You for so eloquently stating what the Majority of Real Americans feel in heir hearts when that "B" opens her mouth.
If we Stand up against the Marxist movement we can keep our country Free. Can they say we are radical..Isn't that what the King said about Great men like Ben,George and the others who gave ALL so we could be free.
The problem is that Most people do not really know or even care that some are reshaping our democratic society so they can Control the weak.
They have the government totally behind them bcuz they have the power.

Thank you, Attorney Guthrie. I pray that in 2010, the Democrats will lose control of the House. I doubt that Ms. Pelosi knows what it is to be an "American," which means that she has no standing to call anybody "un-American." She lacks the wit of an a fool; has the charm of a viper, and is a carbuncle on our body politic. Flee from her as you would from a plague, which is about the substance of her contribution to the political life of our nation.

As others have already said, you have shown great courage to speak out against a very powerful elected official, who could probably do great harm to you and your company...not that a politician of her stature would ever consider doing something like that, just for retribution or for advancing her own personal gain. You obviously know all about Ms. Pelosi's other "service," as well as her personal agenda, most of which has been covered in the numerous articles about her, both on the Internet and in the mainstream media.
For some reason, which we can only guess, the words about her many self-serving "contributions," while feeding herself at the public coffers, seem to go quickly into the archives to be forgotten...except by folks like you, who do a much greater service to fellow Americans by reminding us of the pitfalls of voting for someone based solely on a popular but single-minded campaign agenda. Both parties do this, but only a few individuals do so so blatantly and with such obvious disregard for the true needs of the country.
I, too, am a combat veteran, and I, too, am ashamed of how little regard is paid to the service and personal sacrifice of all persons who choose to serve the Country by joining the military; I am ashamed especially by the ilk of Ms. Pelosi, who would sell us all out for the sake of her own fame and fortune. I am also a Californian who doesn't understand how so many of us can be so blind to the facts of what she is doing for herself, while purportedly trying to help the poor, unfortunate and uneducated people whom she enlists to keep herself in office and on the public payroll.

Thank you for writing what most of us feel about Pelosi, et al. I, too, was spat upon after arriving back in the States. After leaving Travis, and while in downtown SF, I was called a baby killer and spat upon twice. I fear for this country and the direction it's going. This will not be the country I knew for my children and, now, grand children. It's quite disheartening to see patriotism and a firm belief in our future flushed down the drain. To the Pelosi and Obama people about all I can say is what I've said all along, Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. And, they have, but so have we.

I've written Nancy Pelosi several times to criticize her biased policies, disregard for bi-partisan leadership, and political abuse at the cost of our nation's safety. She is a power grabbing, soul selling, disgraceful politician. You said it more gracefully but with plenty of sting. I thank you for representing our feelings.
