Garner Tv & Appliances

We bought a Viking refrigerator from Garner in Feb 06. The first was a lemon (cracked internally) and was replaced by Hadco (Garner's Extended Warranty Service). The second NEW Viking refrigerator was delivered in April of 09. On the day of installation, it needed a new compressor, a new fan and new doors. (Remember, this was a new fridge!) We asked Hadco if they would replace the new fridge as it was broken upon arrival but they refused.
Six months later, every part of the fridge has been replaced and it has caused damage to our wood floors as we have experienced several weeks of water leaking from it. Hadco's Suzanne Diaz explained that the only way for Viking refrigerators to be replaced is if it is "not fixable", such as the cracking of our first lemon refrigerator. She assured us that there were no exceptions. Dealing with Hadco and Viking has been a nightmare to say the least.

We asked Garner if they would exchange this refrigerator out for us however their manager, Randy Pleasant, would not stand behind the product either. He explained that he doesn't sell Viking any more nor does he work with Hadco. We are now stuck with an almost $5,000.00 refrigerator that is continually breaking down. We find it very telling that Garner, Hadco and Viking turned a blind eye to this issue. We would never purchase a Viking Refrigerator again and we will never turn to Garner TV and Appliance to purchase any other appliance need we may have in the future. Buyer Beware!

When we need anything repaired or need to find an inexpensive item, this is the place we go to! We will soon be getting a new washer and dryer from here, when we have to return the current ones we have now.

We have purchased a few small things from this business and they have always had what we were looking for. Their service personal is good, but did nothing to go above and beyond. Prices are comparable to other stores. They do keep a lot in stock so it is pretty easy to get what you are looking for.

We purchased new construction, so we needed all new appliances. Garner had all of the top name brands and their prices were very reasonable. Their sales people are great and they take more time with you than the big box stores. I have heard that many of the local builders get their appliances there. I can't attest to their other electronics, but definitely check them out for appliances.
