David's Produce

This place is one of the biggest produce "stands" I've ever seen, which is what I meant by the "Wal-Mart" comment. It is strictly self-service, and every fruit and vegetable they have is fresh picked. No grocery store can touch their prices.

We always stop by David's to get peaches during the season at least once. The best for peach shortcake! We grab some homemade ice cream there as well. It's fantastic, but I think mine's just as good-if I have David's peaches to put in it that is. If you're a peach nut, like my husband, go by David's during peach season. Just watch the getting in and out, the road is so busy!

This is a wonderful produce stand. It is well kept and pleasant to walk through. The produce is always fresh and ready to eat or take it home to can or freeze. There are also other hometown, local goodies. In the summertimes it is a perfect place to take the family to buy fresh, juicy peaches. I think they are the best around. They also have homemade ice cream made from the same peaches. Perfect summer afternoon outing.
