Jones Family Practice

I am very upset with the service I received at Jones Family Practice. I had a first time appointment with Dr. Love. I made the appointment for 3pm. I showed up at the office at 2:45pm. When I signed in the girl at the desk didn't greet me, she didn't even look up at me. My husband and I were the only two in the waiting room. I thought it was odd that the receptionist didn't give me papers to fill out. After sitting for 10-15 minutes I was called to the desk and told I needed to reschedule. They said my appointment was at 2:30pm. I explained that I had written it down when I made the appointment. I asked if I could still see Dr. Love since I was the only one in the waiting area. She said "no, we are booked". I was sent to the checkout area and the lady there told me the same thing. I tried to explain that I was scheduled for 3pm. She said it was in the "system" for 2:30pm and that I was out of luck. She was very rude also. I told her I was going to go somewhere else and she said that was fine with her. My husband and I went to Shelby Family Practice and we were greeted with a hello and a smile as soon as we walked in the door. When I got home I tried to call back to Jones Family Practice to complain, but the girls at the desk wouldn't let us talk to anyone in charge.

Very professional practice. I bring my children one of the is 4yrs old and the other is 8wks old. I do not ever feel rushed and they are great at explaining tests, procedures and what stage of development my kids are at. For my sons circumcision, Dr S. Jones did the procedure and treated my son like an infant not a patient. Truly appreciated by both my husband and myself. I recommend this practice for any pediatric needs.

I am familiar with Jones Family Practice when my mother went there. She passed under their care, but I can vouch for their care. They were kind and nice and willing to help in any way they could. I can't say enough about these folks. My mother was terminal, but it came on suddenly. This happened under their care--she was an invalid and I took her to all her appointments. So I know first hand what they did and how they treated her. I do recommend them, although I don't think they are taking new patients right now. You can call and ask them. They also have a pediatrician on staff.
