One of the things I have liked best is dealing with Carl behind the front desk. He has treated more than fairly - and I trust him. He's a good man.

The best place to solve all your car's problem. VERY HONEST (In terms of diagnose the problem, Labor time and price), HIGHLY REPUTABLE JOB, and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Both manager and his assistant (Don and Cody) treat the customer like his family and tons of knowledge. Fred, the mechanic is awesome!! He mastered major service in my car without questions. I have no hesitate to recommend this place (not sure with other Precision Auto Tune locations) based on my experience. Thanks again DON and his staff!!

My wife and I have been using this location for about 6 years. Coming from a small town 10 yrs ago to Raleigh I found it difficult to find a mechanic that I can trust that won't try to just take my money. From day one they have completely gone out of their way for both my wife and myself. Cody and Don have been great. They have given me a sense of ""knowing my mechanic"" in a larger city which is hard to find. Many times they could have taken me for my money but instead have helped me save money along with doing top notch work. I recommend this shop to everyone. Thank you Don, Cody and your staff for being so good to us.

I have been coming to this precision tune now for 5 years and wow....Big changes in 09. I was in on 10/15/09 and got an oil change done. Not only were they fast and courteous, but they were very professional. They noticed that my tensioner was loose and could have caused my belt to pop off. I was about to make a road trip and decided to wait on the belt. But what do you know the tensioner failed and the belt popped off. If you go in for service and professionals like these guys tell you something, then LISTEN to what they have to say. Thank you Dan and staff for a wonderful car experience.

When my husband and I first went into the shop, a staff told us they needed to order a specific type of filter for our Volvo from a certain auto store where they order all their parts from. We then volunteered to go and get the filter on our own as we wanted to get some good engine oil from there anyway. But the staff at the auto store told us that the filter was out of stock. We then went back to Precision Tune looking for other solutions, but the manager told us they'd immediately order the filter for us whatsoever, so we left our car with them. A while later we went back picking up the car after being told it's done, which was kind of surprising for the short period of time. After we paid, we asked for a receipt for the filter as the price on the bill barely exceeds the price for the filter our car would require (we had brought in enough engine oil by ourselves so the bill wouldn't cover the oil cost). The manager dig out a reciept for us, but it was for another date! Then he called the auto store and asked them to deliver a copy of the receipt. A few minutes later, we were sent away with a copy of receipt from the auto store. We were still suspicious because the model number on the receipt doesn't look right. So we went back to the auto store and asked a staff to check their transaction history with Precision Tune of that day. Turned out the only oil filter they ordered from this auto store was at the time of 8 AM, but we never been to Precision Tune until after 12 PM. Obviously, the manager lied about ording the filter for our car, but they wouldn't have been able to chang the filter with any substitute, which means they couldn't have changed the filter. Although Precision Tune didn't charge much for the oil change, we ended up having to change the oil again the very next day, and had to buy another $40+ worth of engine oil. I wouldn't trust this place for any of my auto service needs.

I wish I could tell more people about the horrifying sequence of events that occurred at this Precision Tune. To make it short, I went into Precision Tune last year to have my brakes fixed, for almost $500; and after 1 year, my car's brakes finally seem okay. I went into this place at least 15 times in 1 year...they had to replace my brakes numerous times, and each time they would have some funny comment to give...At one point, I asked the manager what to do if my brakes didn't work when I left, and he told me to ""Cross my fingers and pray."" Now, if that isn't enough reassurance when you are driving your car, nonetheless down a hill! I also had someone tell me that one of the guys that worked on my car (the 2nd out of 15 times) was fired soon after. Also, they tried to tell me they were giving me discounts for each time I had to go back since my brakes were still terrible! -I am sorry, I would say that may be called a warranty! Who exactly are these people they are hiring! I now know why their management has changed countless times in this 1 year. Do not go here! Terrible experience!
