We took our son's bike to add a kickstand and my husband's car to have major repairs. We were pleased with the quality of service and felt the prices were fair.

Condescending

If you think you know a thing or two about bikes, trust me, when you walk into this shop you know NOTHING. The staff treats you like you've never seen a bike before. I can't recommend this bike shop to anyone. Go to the Bicycle Chain or better yet, the Trek Store on Durant Rd.

Disorganized and rude staff!
by Anonymous
Took my child's bike there to get fixed. When I called a week later, which was when it was suppose to be ready, I was treated with total disrespect was told I needed to be patient. This was after some dipshit couldn't find the work order and was confused about what the employee wrote on it,once it was finally located. I was also told I was suppose to call them and tell them what to do! What a joke since I already did that when I took the bike in. This place is a cluster---- of disorganization! They couldn't tell me if my part was even ordered and stated"we won't know that until it gets here". I'm not sure what kind of system they have but it obviously is a lousy one and does not promote quality customer service. I would not ever take any bike of mine there again, plus they were about 25.00 higher than several others bike shops I checked out to do the same repair. I went there out of convenience but next time, I'll go elsewhere.

This is a locally owned bike--get the right bike and have it sized properly here. The staff is friendly and helpful and the selection of bikes is great! They will also fit your child for a helmet. We bought my daughter's bike here and they were able to get her the correct size bike. The bikes are well-made, not the cheap ones found at discount stores. They ask you to bring the bike back annually for a tune-up (free).

Best bicycle service around
by ezfeature
I believe this store has some of the best and most experienced bicycle technicians in the area. I can always count on the service team to provide a quick, accurate and honest appraisal of my bicycle whenever I bring it in. Even during the busy season in the spring, they're quick to complete the service and get me back on the road in time for the weekend group rides.

Too elitist
by bobtorres
I try to avoid going to All Star because almost every time I go there, I am treated as if I don't know anything about bikes. There are a few employees there who always treat me with respect, but unfortunately most employees at All Star do not. I am not alone in this view- I've discussed it with my cycling buddies, and they feel the same way.
Pros: selection
Cons: staff
