Well, I had two really great aides from this agency. Was it luck? Not sure, really. They are located in a good location in Raleigh and seek out nursing students who have been great aides for us. However, management is a different story. They are struggling to maintain office hours in Raleigh right now due to office personnel changes, again. Maintaining office staff seems to be chronic so it is a bit difficult in this way. I have had some problems with billing issues. I understand that the owner is aware of these issues and is trying to work on them. But if you have a person in need of care, I would recommend a lot of questions. Following a straightforward schedule and protocol is a struggle for this company.

Pros: Great aides

Cons: Keeping office personnel and following protocols and schedules

Mother's Helper is awesome. My friend recently had a home birth and I was there. Mother's Helper sent a nurse that was at the house for the entire birthing process. The nurse that was assigned to my friends pregancy from the very beginning arrived within ten minutes of receiving the phone call. She was qualified to deliver babies and was completely competent. There were no complications and the nurse performed all her duties according to her manual. If you want to have an at home birth or just a coach to help you during labor, Mother's Helper is the service to call.

PROS:
CONS: not always covered under medical insurance
