Ye Ole Waffle Shop

This place is nothing fancy, but it's perfect for hungry college students who are looking for large portions at reasonable prices. Their cheese grits are fabulous and their waffles and omelettes are light and fluffy. As with other areas on Franklin Street, there is very little parking.

Ye Olde Waffle Shop is a small, cafeteria-style restaurant that specializes in serving breakfast all day long. I am a fan of going in for Sunday brunch, and ordering waffles, hash browns, some fruit and a glass of OJ. The waffles are soft, and fluffy and exactly the way they should be made. Be prepared to eat as the servings are big.
