WOW its been a while since I have been to a really bad restaurant but this was horrible. Our waitress though being extremely slow (at not a high volume time I might add) was very nice. There was an extremely loud and rude waitress blondish that could be heard over the entire restaurant. She made several very inappropriate statements to co-workers that could be heard all over the restaurant.
So this whole "Family friendly" is BS I wouldn't bring my young kid in there.

The restaurant is very old, tacky paintings and it needs a real through cleaning. (I dont really mind tacky stuff but things need to be clean.)

The food...Ordered an egg basket, It came with four strips of bacon, grits and toast I also ordered 1 pancake.
The bacon was floppy soggy and had a chemical taste to it i refused to eat it. Bacon should go "Crunch" when you bite into it.
The toast was cold and chewy, the eggs were only slightly warm to the touch. The pancake was also cold.

Now I must add that the lady that sat beside me came in 15 mins after I ordered, she got the exact same thing (same waitress) as me and still managed to get her food a full ten minutes before me.

Unless your starving to death and the arbys across the street is closed don't waste your money the 35 minutes it took to get our food it was not worth it in the slightest.

Never go here. I had to wait almost an hour for my food and it was so bad that I honestly wouldn't feed it to my dog. The atmosphere is completely tacky and distasteful. The staff is uncoordinated and the manager just seemed like a gripey

We've never had a problem with waiting too long here. Maybe the last reviewer was there on a weird/off night. *shrug*

I have 3 young children and this is one of the very few restaurants I feel totally comfortable taking them too. They

This was absolutely the worst dining experience that our family has ever had. The server was apparently new and very slow, which would have been okay if some one had been there to help him (we had a table of 10). The food took well over 30 minutes to come out, and when it did, some of it was wrong, some burnt, and some never even came. I mean its pancakes and waffles- how hard is that? The manager stood at the front door completely clueless and unhelpful. Our server needed help, but he just stood there at the register. He obviously does not care about the business. The server brought the food and drinks out one at a time- literally my husband had to tell him to bring more than one thing out of the kitchen at a time! When we brought this to the manager's attention he was aloof and finally agreed to take care of the beverages. Don't take care of the beverages- take care of the guests! We will never be back, which is ashame because I would love to see a local establish do well.

As Le Coco it was pretty good once upon a time; service last time was very poor and I swear the home fries were reheated from the day before. Management was apathetic to my feedback while I was there, now they get it here: One of the worst meals I've experienced in Durham.

Previously, Lecoco rest. and now Eno Valley Eatery. What a shame. Great location on Roxboro, great menu, but the service and chef are so slow, that a return visit won't be happening! This place has the potential to be one of North Durham's best restaurants. Our food was good, but cold because it had been sitting in the kitchen for so long. Our kid's meals took longer than regular entrees? The adult's were finished with their meals before the kids recieved theirs. Only 2 other full tables in the place right at lunch time. Our waitress, although nice, was very slow with getting our check to us. Please don't let bad service and a slow chef be your demise. North Durham would love for this restaurant to thrive and be all it can be but right now you are turning people away!

Pros: great menu and food

Cons: Extremely slow service!

My husband and I recently moved to a neighborhood near this restaurant. On our way to and from work, we had always driven by Le Coco but had never gone in to eat, until recently. We have been missing out on so much good food, and we didn't even know it! I would categorize this as comfort food - the kind served in a diner - but with a unique, local flair. I like the Garden Crepes, which are filled with fresh delicious veggies, cooked to perfection. Comes with a side of fresh spiced cinnamon apple slices. My husband likes their scrambles and hashes - many to choose from! Our favorite thing, however, is the home fries. It's the type of potatoes that are mashed up and fried, but still have the skins on. Perfectly seasoned. I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious breakfast food, any time of day. They have a ton of tables and plenty of staff. It seems they can even handle the after-church crowd on Sundays. Note: they are apparently remodeling to make the place look better (it's pretty rough-looking, currently). Also I think they plan to rename it to the Eno River Eatery, because that's what the menus say on them. Enjoy!
