It seems some people don't know good pizza. This place is a family favorite and I have never once thought the place looked unsanitary or dirty. While the service isn't the friendliest in town, it is far from the worst. Being from

I have never had worse customer service in my life. Rude is an understatement. I ordered a slice with feta, and when I got it, the feta had the rankest taste to it. My boyfriend tasted it and agreed there obviously something wrong. I

I decided to take my four year old to Primavera Pizza for lunch. First off, the stoner behind the cash register either slept through the customer service video, or was still bombed from drinking the bong juice. He had absolutely NO

We frequently visit White Oaks Mall and for the first time in four years we stopped in Primavera Pizza. It is now one of our regular spots. I read some of the other reviews and it is obvious someone has a grudge. The place is clean and the guys behind the counter are nice enough and helpful. What is important is the food and it is delicious. I??m retired military and government, as well. Having traveled all over the country, to include NYC, this place is one of the best. Try it and see.

We LOVE their pizza. We looked everywhere for good NY thin crust pizza and just couldn't find anything that measured up until we finally tried this place. Now we will go out of our way to have pizza there. Definitely worth it!

A coworker raved about the pizza at Primavera, so we decided to give it a try. I was a bit turned off at first by the prices (more than you would expect from a basic pizza place), but once you've tried the pizza you'll understand. The toppings are fresh and abundant, and the staff always friendly. We haven't tried anything other than the pizza, but they do have a decent sized menu.

We have eaten here a few times and the pizza is great. We haven't tried anything else. We always get a half pep. and mushroom and half everything. It is a little expensive but worth it. I would recommend this to anyone.

Primavera Pizza has the best thin-crust pizza in Johnston County! We have been customers at this local pizza joint for four years. I highly recommend their pizza and also the subs. You can carry-out or choose to stay and eat at this family-friendly restaurant.

I grew up in New York but left many years ago for a career in the military. This is the first time in 30 years I have been able to get pizza where I live just like I had when I was a kid. Thin crust, the right sauce...finally! I don't understand the negative comments; my experience has always been positive. Of course, in an "order at the counter" restaurant I don't expect 5 star service, but I go there for the pizza, not the service. If they delivered I'd really be in Pizza Heaven.

When this place opened up I used to eat there all the time. Over the last year the service has went completely down hill. The staff have attitudes. They don't care about their customers. Also, I noticed a bad sanitation score. In addition, the food isn't as good as it was when they first opened. Hopefully they will read these comments and improve their service and food.

Most Authentic New York Pizza in the Triangle area; also the most authentic NY city service. The staff are basically rude, almost to the point that it seems they try to be rude to be cool. The owner looks and acts like a Brooklyn caricature from Saturday Night Fever. You can expect great pizza, but don't expect great service. Just get your pie to go!

Greatest pizza in America! Whoever doesn't like it just because of the customer service is just a biotch and if you want real pizza then be a real man and stop bitching that you had to pay 30 cents more for a cup. Ya Nick, the owner is a douche. A self absorbed, egotistical, big mouth douche. But the food is awsome. I get most of it for free anyways. If you are cool to the employees, they will be cool to you and give you cool stuff. OH and just for a tip....DON'T ever leave a tip. Nick the owner just takes it and puts it in his pocket cause he's pathetic like that. He's not even from Brooklyn, he just tries to act like a a$$hole so people will think he's a big shot.

Ok, so this place in my opinion has great pizza. I'm from NY and enjoy their pizza. However, where they are lacking is in customer service. The owner rarely smiles, is not engaging and recently when I was there and asking for a fork and napkins, an employee just kind of glared at me like I was putting him out. What's disturbing is that staff tend to exemplfy behavior that they are modeled from their boss OR that they are allowed to get away with. It's an arrogance really. I write this review hoping that the owner reads it because the food it great, but more attention in these areas would surely bring in more customers. For example, putting a tacky hand written sign that telling customers that they don't 'do' to-go cups, or there will be another full drink charge - is NOT customer friendly and sends a message that I would think a business owner would NOT want to send. Don't be so... cheap. The cups and refills on soda cost you pennies - it'd be worth it for happier customers. I will continue to eat there while shopping at Whiteoak, but hope that the attitude of the staff changes and more attention to these little details occur as it would enhance the experience of eating there. (offering kids cups with lids would sure be nice too).

Cons: Attitude of staff and ambience

Worst service anyone could possibly ever get. And the place was dirty. Not just the place but he employees as well. And the food isn't even worth it. We've tried several items there to see how this place could possibly still be in business and I have no idea how. Nothing was good at all! This place gives White Oak and Northerners a bad name!

I try to eat here at least once a month. The pizza is by far the best NY style pizza I've had since moving to the area. I've never had a problem with the staff either. Normally when I go, it's just my wife and I. However, I took a large group there (about 10 people including a 2 year old) on a Saturday. Just as always, the staff was very accomodating and the pizza was delicious.

Moved to NC 3 yrs. ago from NY, heard about primavera's and decided to try it since it is not too far. The few times we have gone there and trust me other then the first time, we were shopping and staving, they by far have the worst tasting pizza I have ever eaten, Domino's taste better and we hate Domino's. The pizza is paper thin, the sauce is tarte and the service is the worse. I have never once been there and saw any of the workers, and the're usually 3-4 of them, look clean, the t'shirt 's are suppose to be white and look a dingy light black, most of them have long hair and look like they haven't taken a shower in days. They are not friendly at all and the owner thinks he's some tough guy from Brooklyn, you should be ashamed of yourself, I would be embarrassed to tell anyone if I were associated w/ this place. By the looks of his wife and pretty little baby, I'm sure his house doesn't look like his place of business. Clean up your act and get some new clean workers that are friendly. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN, PERIOD!!!!

This place IS NOT Kid friendly! First of all, the place looks dirty and greasy. The order taker, a guy that appeared in charge, was very rude. I requested the special of two slices of pizza and a drink and he refused to let me order at the special price. I had intended to share part of one of the slices with my little boy (4) and buy an extra drink for him. He told me that he doesn't allow "sharing" and would charge me for the two slices individually. I tried to explain to him that my son didn't eat much and I didn't want to pay for a big slice when I knew he couldn't eat it. They guy wouldn't hear it. He made me feel like a criminal or something. His whole attitude was cocky and rude. I will never go near this place again.

Went with friends at about 6 p.m. on a Sunday. Ordered calamari appetizer and salad. Food slow in coming. Salad was lettuce and tomato only. Calamari TOUGH AS SHOE LEATHER -COULD NOT EAT IT, sent it back and expected I could get a replacement of equal value - NOT SO. After long wait the "manager" came over to inquire about problem. Said could not give me anything to replace it and no money back. Tried a piece of a friend's pizza - not all that great, can't understand why people rave about it, mediocre at best. Attitude of staff rude, surly, condescending. Would definitely not recommend and will not go back!!!

I placed a pick up order for Baked Ziti. When I got it home, it did not have any cheese on it. I called to let them know of the mistake and they said that I asked for Ziti with marinara sauce. I proceeded to let them know it was their mistake and had given me the wrong order. They responded by hanging up on me. We found them rude the first time we ate there, but continued to give them the benefit of the doubt. This is absolutely unacceptable!

The pizza is better than expected and tastes like NY pizza. However, the service is HORRIBLE. First - When I asked for more garlic bread, the server mumbled that I would "have to take it up with the owner". HUH? He then said that I needed to go to the register. Okay, fine. But, I can think of several ways that he could have stated it in a more friendly manner. Second - I noticed the young man behind the counter cutting a slice of pizza into squares for a child. When I asked if he could do the same for my 2-year old daughter, he replied, "Well, that was the owner's daughter. That's the only reason I did it for her". He begrudgingly cut the pizza for me, only after I told him he must be kidding me. This is the first time I've ever written a review on Citysearch, but I felt compelled to let fellow diners know how horribly rude the workers are at this place. I will not go back!

I chose to eat here Saturday the 9th and I will NEVER make that mistake again. All I can say is that I was given attitude by the entire staff because I wanted cheese on my Chef salad. When the rude food runner brought my salad, I asked for some cheese and he responded "The owner does not allow us to put cheese on salads" He was NOT nice and laughed as he walked away so this got under my skin but I remained calm because I have been in the food industry myself and I know how things can be at times. Anyway, I spoke with the manager and asked him could I have cheese if I paid extra and he was rude also. He stated the same thing the runner boy stated. I asked if I could get my money back and he said "No you have already put dressing on your salad" At this point, I was getting more attitude then I deserved so we left. I finally reached the owner yesterday, who is as uncaring as the rest of his staff. He told me some crazy story that he had me on video and that I had ate the whole salad(which I only took one bite of) and that it was my fault. After he yelled at me for about 2 minutes, I apologized to him because it was at that point that I realized why his restaraunt was the only one dead at 7:30 on Saturday night. This in NOT a family friendly place to eat nor do they thrive on CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I went to this restaurant for the first time for lunch about 1:30pm on December 12, 2007 and it was not busy at all. I stood at the counter waiting to order and several staff passed by without saying anything. That should have been my clue to turn around and leave, but I did not. Finally, a man, in a dirty t-shirt, came to the counter and he mumbled something and I replied I did not hear you. He then said what can I get you in not a friendly tone. There was my second red flag, but I ignored it. I ordred Lasagna, costed about $8:50. It took forever for them to bring it and when they did it was a piece of pasta, not layered, with sauce poured on it. I took it back and asked if it was Lasagna. He replied that's how we make it. I took it back to my table and tasted it and it tasted horrible, so I took back and ask that it be replaced with a cheaper slice of pizza. The response I got "if you buy a slice of pizza, I am not giving you a slice". He then accused me in front of other customers of letting the plate sit and get cold. I tried to explain to him that I had been waiting and if it was cold it was because it was sitting waiting to be brought to me. The man who brought me the food was standing there , looking everywhere except at me, when he was accusing me and did not acknowledge that he had just brought the food. The man in the dirty t-shirt was rude and loud. I place the plate on the counter and left. I paid almost $8:50 for some lettuce and tomatoes because that was all that was in the salad that I ate. The bread was burnt, so I could not eat it. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The customer service was worse than zero. I have never in my life seen anyone make Lasagna with one peice of pasta. The one peice of pasta would not have been as bad if it tasted okay, but it it tasted bad. If you want to be treated like dirt this is the place for you.

Yeah, the pizza is slightly better than average NC pizza, but it's not worth the surly staff and overall cheap attitude. If you order water, they give you a clear glass to put it in, presumably to make sure that you're not, heaven forbid, stealing soda. They also have a sign up stating that if you eat in the restaurant and then, want a to-go cup for that extra cup of soda to take out the door with you, that you will be charged. If you order a slice of pepperone or mushroom pizza, you'll have no trouble counting the mushrooms or pepperone slices on one hand. Even Sbarro's is better pizza... without the hassle.

I don't know why people think this place is so great. The food is not worth the wait, the money, or the attitude you are bound to encounter from employees. The pasta dishes are mediocre, the salads are a joke (as are the sandwiches), and the pizza is greasy with toppings that are anything but "fresh" - unless "fresh out of the can" counts.

IMHO, this place does well ONLY because people are so tired of the major chains and crave something - ANYTHING - out of the ordinary.

Pros: Any food cures hunger.

Cons: Just another mediocre place to eat.

I honestly don't understand how a place like this can stay in business. My finance was not greeted for 5 minutes upon entering the place, and the guy acted like it was a hassle to take his order. He got the food to go, and about halfway through eating my mediocre, bland calzone, I found a short black hair. When I called to speak to the manager, he was extremely rude to me. All he said he could do for me was make me another one, which I really didn't want after just finding a hair in mine and losing my appetite. When he started yelling and being louder and ruder, I told him to forget it and hung up. He had the audacity to call me back and yell at me, saying that he didn't appreciate ME being rude to HIM, and proceded to cuss me out. I tried to get a word in edgewise, but was unable to do so due to his abusive words and attitude. Having worked in the restaurant industry for several years, I know that customer service is key, and sincerely hope that everyone will stay away from a place like this. People who act like this to OVERpaying customers do not deserve business!

These guys have great NY Style Pizza. I have been looking for a place to get a good old fashioned NY style pizza in the Garner area, and I was happy to find Primavera. They are located in the White Oak shopping center, and it is a very informal environment. Great place to take your kids.

I grew up in New England, home of great pizza. (greek, italian, NY, sicilian). This is a real good imitation of a NY City pizza "pie"... (however they don't follow through with the NYC tradition of having only 1 size pie..)
I have tried other menu items and am disappointed. The menu in the store is not accurate. They advertise veal, but never have it.. Pastrami is poor.. (not like Kats in times square! Now they know how to make a sandwitch!!!)
The pizza is worth the trip if your in the mood for pizza, I don't recomend anything else there but their pizza!

With a New York and European background, my family appreciates good food. This place comes closest to authentic Italian pizza that I have tasted in North Carolina.
It's a family restaurant, so don't expect linen napkins or candles, but it is great to bring your kids. We all love it.

We ordered speg and fett alfredo and they were both terrible. They had no flavor and the sauce was very watery. However, if you are looking for good pizza I would recommend you go here for the Mona Lisa.

I ordered and waited for forty minutes and was given my vegetarian Stromoboli with ham in it.
I am not sure how this happened being their Stromboli has pepperoni in it, not ham.
They charged me an extra 1.50 to take out the pepperoni as well.
I explained to them I can not eat this because I am a vegetarian, secondly I am pregnant and lunch meat is dangerous anyway.
They take it back, 15 minutes later they're back with the same Stromboli, dissected so they could pull the ham out and with the layers of crust mashed back into place and reheated.
I pre-payed for something I could not eat and having them show me that the customer is wrong.
I did not get a refund and I got so tired of having to explain myself, I walked out.
I will pick a place more honest next time.
