The food here is simply amazing. We went early on a weekend night and the belly dancer was a little weird because we were the only people there. Maybe we are just old though! The hummus is hard to beat, great wine, and the specials are the best. A little pricey for a night out (around $80 for two people, with wine and appetizers) but it is downtown Asheville after all.

Several times a year when we visit Asheville, we make a point of eating at the Jerusalem Garden Cafe. The menu is varied and choices abound. I prefer eating vegetarian and my husband likes meat. All the lamb dishes are moist and spicy. The coucous that accompanies most meals is a favorite.

We always arrive hungry because the food is ample. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and amount of food provided.

I don't know what I enjoyed the most, but I can tell you that their babaganoosh was probably the best I've ever eaten. We really enjoyed this little cafe. Very Middle Eastern without doubt. My husband really enjoyed the roasted lamb. Service was good here and the staff is friendly and polite. The prices are very good too.

Have had lunch and dinner here and everything was awesome! Atmosphere is fun and authentic to the cuisine.
Loved the falafel and Greek salad. Have done take out also and was very pleased with packaging and supplies provided. Very cool date place on weekends - they have belly dancers and beautiful Middle Eastern music.
