Wearing different faces
by Joseph A.
Last weekend I took my family of five and my mother-in-law to the cinema show and had a very bad experience when trying to resolve an unfortunate situation. When my wife ordered the kids popcorn packs and didn't have enough hands to carry them all she left her keys on the counter. Her fault and I realize that, but when she realized what she had done and returned to the counter later she asked the staff and was told by the employee by the counter that they had not seen keys and if they were turned in they would be at the lost and found at the ticket counter. The manager was very rude to my wife and sent an off the clock female employee to check, she came back and said that they were not there. My wife was suspicious by the standoff approach of the staff. When my wife was explaining the situation and the manager said she was too busy to look for her keys with a loud attitude another employee said she "should just kick her ass out" and my wife did not tell that employee anything. The manager did not apologize for his behavior but said she was going to call the security guard on my wife. My wife then said she was going to call the police and she did. Then she went into the movie and told me the situation and I left out with her. When we got back to the front an employee who had nothing to do with what was going on came out with my wife's keys as if they magically appeared. When asked where they were the girl said they were on the floor in the ticket booth.! The manager who my wife was talking to was no where to be seen and the owner of the plaza was by the ticket booth. I was very calm and only wanted to let him know what was going on with the rudeness of his staff. He seemed to not recognize my presence and when I started speaking he was loud and rude and would not let me get a sentence out of my mouth and asked the security guard to escort us out. And this site has the nerve to have the American flag waving on the main site. I have been a soldier over six years and a member of the NCO corps. I have over 2 and half years of deployment time. The type of treatment and disrespect in a supposedly family oriented place of business in a city that strives from soldiers that fight over seas to protect them is rediculous. I will never take my family to the Omni cinema again. May God please change the hearts and minds of the owner, management and staff.

It is the cheapest movie theater in town. All movies at all times are $2. They are very clean and the staff is very friendly. They have several different value packs for concession items. They do show movies that are just about to come out on dvd BUT it is still a great deal for a night out and if you like to watch a movie on the big screen.
PROS:
CONS: Movies are a few months old. No new releases

I love to go to Omni Cinemas. The price to get in is $1.50 and you can't beat that. There are always recent movies showing and movies rated G and PG for kids. The food is priced well. You can pay $1.50 for a child's ticket and get them a kids snack for $3.00 which includes popcorn, candy, and a drink. It is always cool in the theaters and the staff constantly clean up the trash and restrooms. I have never had a bad experience at Omni Cinemas.
PROS: $1.50 movies rock!

I love going to omni cinema because it is cheap and I can go during the day. I do not mind waiting a month after a movie has come out. I like the fact that I can have all of the thrills of movie popcorn a drink and a great movie for less than ten dollars! And if my son gets cranky and wants to leave it is ok because I didn't spend an arm and a leg to get in!

The Omni is a good theater to go to if you want inexpensive entertainment for the entire family. Most of the movies playing are being shown after they have left the more expensive theaters. Concessions are also cheap with a large variety to choose from. I have been several times to this theater and have never been disapointed with what I have paid. If you want a deal for the money this is perfect family fun.
