I take pride in keeping my car in pristine condition. On July 16, 2014, I brought my black 2012 accord into Carolina Auto Spa for a wash at the Cary location, went through the wash and parked at the gas station next door. I began to dry off my car when I noticed extra surface scratches that were not there before. I continued to dry off the top of my vehicle when I then saw a 3 inch white scratch that could not be removed with the microfiber towel. That bugged me, but it was on the top of the car and not noticeable from afar. I continued drying off the vehicle and when I got to the doors I saw another white scratch, this one was longer, darker and deeper. I immediately stopped drying and went right back to Carolina Auto Spa to point out the damage they caused.

I spoke with the assistant manager, she took down notes on my complaint and requested my telephone number. I did not have my phone on me and just got a new number so we agreed I would call her back with that information when I got home. The automated phone system transferred me directly to the manager. I explained to him I had two concerns in regards to his business, the first was what had happened to my car and without him seeing the damage he was disinterested and not concerned with my complaint. He continued to tell me that it's impossible his car wash did the damage, they have high end vehicles like Maseratis go through all the time so there is no way the wash did it. He already had his mind made up that his business was not responsible. My second concern was that I was getting charged for the $30 month plan, but have only been getting the $12 month service. He asked me to come in tomorrow so he could address my concerns.

The next day I went in to speak with the manager. Before he saw the damage he reiterated that it was impossible for the wash to cause damage and they can't take responsibility. I asked him if it wasn't the wash what does he think it was. He said it "looks like somebody walked by the car and scraped it", so I asked him why I had the same exact scratch on my roof and he had no answer, then he said "they are not the same scratch", He reiterated that it's impossible for the car wash to do this damage and that Maseratis go through the wash all the time. After his denying the damage and not taking responsibility for the damage he proceeds to tell me he can refer me to "a guy" they use when things like this happen. (Even though it's impossible for his wash to do these scratches, they have "a guy")
We then addressed the $30 charge for $12 of work, he fixed that on the computer and said it's ok for me to run my car through. I informed him I was not interested in using his services and to refund my payment.

Unfortunately, Carolina Auto Spa damaged my car and their customer service was one of the worst experience I've had as a customer of any business. I am disappointed how my situation was handled and now have a constant reminder of 2 white scratches on my once all black car. I was billed the wrong amount and as far as them being insured, something was not disclosed clearly or was misrepresented.

I attempted to resolve the problem but since a Honda is not a Maserati, I guess I'm not deserving of quality service. If you like how your car looks, DO NOT USE Carolina Auto Spa.

I wish I could give this place negative stars. I paid $59 for a detail that included wax. The employees couldn't have done a worse job if they tried. Not only did they do a half-a$$ job on the detail - console was still dusty, the windshield hadn't been cleaned, they didn't replace the floor mats properly but tossed them in - but they scratched and chipped my rear bumper as they carelessly and lazily ran the orbital waxer over the car. I couldn't be more disgusted and angry. You don't even get what you pay for here.
Don't bring your car here if you like the finish on your car.
Going back to Johnson's Mobile Detailing - they come to my workplace and do a GREAT job and are not that much more expensive. I SO WISH I hadn't taken my car to Carolina Auto Spa.

Discovered via a social deal and had a great experience - fast wash, with personal experience. Had tried other washes and found the auto spa did the best job, fastest and with great service.

Highly recommended.

What used to be the best became worst. Just to get pollens off we went through $5 quick wash and soap spots made the car worse spotting the whole car. We had to go through another place to get the spots out...just bad!

The basic $5 wash is decent, it gets the dirt, salt, and whatever else off, and gets your wheels mostly clean. The first time I went to CAS, I bought the $10 which adds the ""towel dry"" and special attention to wheels. The attendants spent an extra minute (if that) drying off my car, then wiped the inside of my rims off and added a thin layer of armor all to my tires. I can do that myself for a fraction of the cost.

A friend of mine bought the interior/exterior service, where after a wash, they were supposed to wipe down and detail the inside of the car. He said the only thing they did was do a quick wipe with a damp towel once across the top of the dash - lots of dust still present.

The free vacuums make the $5 worth it, but I wouldn't get any of the premium services unless you had a coupon.

Currently I live where I cannot wash my car myself, so I decided on my lunch break to try this place which is near my work - given that I would be spending about $8 to wash and vacuum it myself somewhere else.

I got the $16 supposedly total car wash, just to try it out. I'm glad I didn't spend more money, and I won't be going back. The dash was supposed to be dusted- it was 100% untouched. There were still spots on the windsheild that I got off myself later in about 30 seconds of effort. They did vacuum it, and that was a decent job. The auto-car wash however is clearly really dated stuff - and does not get the car very clean - the entire rear of the car you can just forget (same as any auto place. For less). The high school kids working did dry it, but whatever they use leaves little lint bits all over (pinky-orange which is really noticable on my paint color). I wasn't expecting ""as"" good a job as if I could do it all myself, but I was still really dissapointed for $16! I could have done the same (if not better) at any gas station for less.

I normally due all my own maintenance and cleaning. Groupon had a deal for a carwash and oil change for 30 bucks so I thought I'd splurge and get one for my wife. I called ahead and the girl that answered said they take appointments and it would be 30 to 40 mins. I sent wife over there on her lunch hour. When she called to make appointment the girl was kind of rude and said to be on time. She got there ten minutes early to be told they may not be able to wash the outside of her car because there was a car stuck in the carwash. When they removed the car she saw sparks as they drug the car loose. One hour and 20 minutes later my wife got her car back. They managed to clean the outside, but the seats were not vacuumed and the armor all job was lousy and there was still brake dust on the rims. Granted I only paid 30 bucks, but this was supposed to be a 60 dollar service. Unacceptable! There's no way I would've paid 60 dollars for this lousy of a service. Bad first impression. Never again!!! This wasn't even a Saturday. It was Friday the 23rd of July around noon. Hardly would say ""upscale carwash.""

I am sorry to say that our experience with Carolina Auto Spa was very negative. My husband went to have our car washed with floormats in. When he came home, there were NO FLOORMATS. The response from this business was we were LYING. I am sorry but, you don't find many more honest people than we are. Complaints with the Better Business Bureau were ignored by this business and never resolved. They never offered to replace our loss. We will never go back.

I took my car in for a full interior detailing which came with a free exterior wash. I called earlier in the week and made an appointment for Saturday morning. I highly recommend arranging transportation for this service since it takes a few hours. Shortly after noon I got the call that it was finished.

Even before I pulled in I could see my car shining out in the parking lot and was already impressed. The interior was meticulously gone over, all plastic surfaces were cleaned and protectant applied. The seats and carpets were all shampooed and even the vents from my AC were cleaned eliminating that mildew smell. They even cleaned my trunk which I was not expecting and even bagged up all the junk I left back there so I wouldn't lose anything.

Everyone I dealt with was very professional and courteous. I'm no longer embarrassed to let other people ride in my car, thanks Carolina Auto Spa!

Karl, owner of Carolina Auto Spa, is the epitome of an entrepreneur....

He is focused on you as a customer. If you are not happy, he will do what it takes to make you happy....just try it...you will always go back.

With car washes, often service is mixed and inconsistent, not with Karl. He will get you there and you will love your car afterwards.

I have a 2007 Honda Odyssey Van that is White in color. I have been lazy lately and started getting the car washed here once or twice a week. (exterior only for $5). If you ride with your car through the car wash, you will note the loud and hard slapping of the brushes and pads hitting your car. Just a week ago, I noticed some serious discoloration on the corners of the bumpers! Luckily, I was able to take it off with polishing compound. Whew! ...I thought it had taken the paint off, and I'm sure it would have if I continued using their service! Stay Away !!!

We brought our car in for an oil change, tire rotation, and full service wash. The service was superb - everyone on the staff was friendly, professional, and helpful - and the car looks awesome! We will continue to trust our cars to Carolina Auto Spa in Cary! It's the only car wash I have ever used that did not require any 'touch up' when I got my car home.

I def. didn't love this place. I had to wait 15min extra than promised, not a big deal. Then when done the windshield was still dirty, and the car smell like dirty mop water. They didn't vacuum the trunk. I mean they charged $40 I at least expect clean windows, and a good vacuum. Well pretty disappointed I must say.

washed here after not being happy at two other local places. very friendly staff, similar prices and great service. I was done in 24 minutes, they told me 30 since they were busy...on a sat morning and they offered me some coupons as a new customer and I joined their mailing list...apparently they send a lot of offers out each month. We took our truck here after a milk spill, the truck is 1 year old and the interior is immaculate (aside from the odor from the spilled milk). They recommended shampooing the carpet and seats ($70) and required that I pay up-front. They said they had an 'odor destroying' machine that they could use to help defeat the smell and seemed optimistic that they could help.\r
\r
I dropped the car off and waiting for a little over an hour before it was ready. They said to leave the windows open so that the seats could dry, so I parked it in the garage with a fan running. We came out a few hours later to find the entire garage smelled horrible.\r
\r
After doing some research on the internet, I bought a $2.14 bottle of Lysol and proceeded to spend an hour scrubbing the fabric and carpet. Already the smell is all but gone. Needless to say, I was wondering where my $70 went and why a 'professional' didn't know any more about removing odors than I did.\r
\r
I eventually tracked down the regional manager and explained the situation. I was finally offered a $70 store credit or a $35 partial refund. I took the latter as I never plan to do business with Carolina Auto Spa again.

Recently I scheduled a full detail exterior/interior car wash with this business for a Sunday morning time slot. When I arrived the business was closed and the hours of operation were not posted. I returned home (very ticked off) and called this business later in the day to inquire as to where the heck they were during my scheduled appointment time. I spoke with one of the managers who commented (this is a near quote) that on Friday he noted my appointment time and thought it was strange because they don?t open until noon on Sunday. However, no one called me to tell me that my scheduled time was incorrect and no one would be there!! In my opinion this was an egregious error. When I inquired about receiving the service for free or at least 50% off due to this large error on their part, I was told it was an expensive service that took a long time and maybe he could give me $40 off. This establishment might offer good service (if they show up for it) but it is clearly poorly run with no care for customer satisfaction. Don?t go!!!

I'm sure others may have had a good experience, but i am NEVER going back to this place EVER!! We were told that our car would be ready in 20 minutes. Our car never even MOVED until over an HOUR, and then sat for another twenty minutes before the inside was done...or NOT done as the case may be!! Only when we threatened to leave was our car returned, with the work INCOMPLETE, with not as much as a ""Sorry for the delay."" No way we're going back.

Have been a customer for a few years. Karl (the owner) is usually on hand and working with the team. Karl oversees most jobs and motivates his crews to provide excellent customer service.\r

One time, I had some minor damage to my vehicle and Karl arranged to have it repaired or replaced. A bad experience turned extremely positive. He manages a great business and should be applauded for his efforts. \r

Have been a customer for a few years. Karl (the owner) is usually on hand and working with the team. Karl oversees most jobs and motivates his crews to provide excellent customer service.\r
\r
One time, I had some minor damage to my vehicle and Karl arranged to have it repaired or replaced. A bad experience turned extremely positive. He manages a great business and should be applauded for his efforts. \r
\r
Thanks for the great service!

Pros: Great service, great prices, monthly plans allow 'free' washes'

Cons: Popular spot, sometimes a 5-10 min wait

.

I have been going to the auto spa for years. Normally you can get your car washed for a decent price, and with the water restrictions, I wanted to get a quick wash. IT WASN'T QUICK. I got the $10 service which cleans the outside and the tires. It took over 30 minutes. Why? I have no idea. They put my car behind another vehicle that was getting the works. So I had to wait till they moved the vehicle in front of mine before I could leave. All the employees moved slow and they were very backed up. I don't normally complain but I was upset. We called the manager as soon as we left and the manager never apologized and didn't seem concerned. It says on the receipt the customer service is their goal. The manager didn't care, didn't offer us anything, not even a coupon, and frankly he didn't care. I will now go to Bunky's, which I have gone before because of their excellent customer service, even though it's more expensive. I hope other people do not have the same experience I just had, but the reviews speak for themselves. I would love to speak to the management if they care to contact me.

Pros: Can get wash during drought

Cons: poor service, poor quality

I took my little Civic in for a Deluxe Wash and Hand Wax. When I got it back it had a scratch down the entire passenger side, most just surface scratch, but a couple 1/2"" areas was down to the metal. I walked the car before taking it in and there was no scratch. They said it had been keyed. \r
\r
It was also still dirty even after the hand-wax. There was dirt/grime in the concave angles and at most curved edges. They ran it thru the wash a 2nd time and power washed it too, most of the dirt came off but they said it was grime that was in the old paint. I went home and hand washed the areas, it cleaned easliy. They obviously didn't apply wax to those areas.

I wanted to get my boyfriends truck detailed for him as a suprise for Valentines Day, I was not concerned with price, I just wanted a quality job done so I did my research and Carolina Auto Spa rated the best with city search...I'm not sure if it just depends on the day of the week you go or what but I was saddly dissapointed that Thursday morning...I was there over an hour when they told me the truck was ready. I was excited because the outside was nice and shiny (except for the wheels, they still had brake dust) but when I opened the door I was shocked...it looked like a child had randomly wiped the dashboard and the vaccum job was horrible, there was still trash in places not to mention the seats had not been shampooed and cleaned like I payed for so I showed a guy that I think was the owner and he sent the truck back to have the inside redone. Over a half hour later the truck was ready... the seats were soaking wet and I could have done a better armoral job myself...I have never written a review before but I just moved here from TX and had to depend on these reviews to choose a business so I think that my experience should be known.

I just recently bought a Black Mercedes and in certain lights, the paint appeared to have fine scratches throughout the clearcoat. I started researching some Detail Shops in town. I emailed several Detail Shops around the Triangle and got a reply back from Karl, the owner of CAS, almost immediately. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and was very helpful. I scheduled an appointment for a Full Service Exterior Detail and left the car with them for a morning. When I picked up the car, I almost didnt recognize it! The paint was in near showroom condition. Most of the scratches were gone and there were no buffer swirl marks left behind. \r
\r
Bottom line is, the Customer Service and the Quality of Work at Carolina Auto Spa is phenomenal. Karl (owner), Tim (manager), and Dustin were all extremely helpful and professional. They walked me through the steps they took as well as steps I could take to keep my vehicle looking new. Great work guys!

As I pulled in, one person tried to run me over! I thought the men inside who helped me were great and I was so excited to see my car-this is the first time I've had it detailed. It looked okay when I got in. The cup holders were not cleaned like they said they would be, nor the door pockets. They only wiped half of the windshield, so now it is very smeary when it's humid. They did not vacuum well AT ALL and didn't even care to lift the floor mats. I'm very disappointed. I will never go back there or recommend it!!!

This was our favorite place to bring our cars until about a year ago. Our family from South Carolina were visiting and needed their car washed. We recommended Carolina Auto Spa in Cary. Driving away after the car wash, my brother-in-law, Matt, discovered that his radar detector was missing. The suction mark left from the detector was still visible on his windshield and he was positive that it was in his car when he turned it over to the Spa. When he called the place, they denied that anyone there had taken it. Upon threatening to call the police and demanding that they find it by the time he returned, the radar detector ""miraculously"" turned up in one of their employee's ""locker."" The manager apologized and gave him a coupon for a free car wash. What a joke! He should have refunded him his money because there's no way he would be going back there for another car wash, free or otherwise. Matt asked to speak to the owner and had left many messages for him; however, the owner never returned any of his calls. Matt called the Cary Police to report the theft in hopes of preventing this from happening to any other customers; however, the Police pretty much told them that they didn't want to pursue this as they get all their squad cars washed for free there!

Found these guys by web search. New to town. Tried to avoid Sat because I figured it would be busy but I had no choice but to visit yesterday. I was about 5 deep in line at entrance and it took like 20 minutes total. Got my fragrance inside from a nice girl who explained their detail services (which I did not purchase but may come back for). Asked her for another wafer (they don't spray fragrance - according to the girl it speeds up the wash process) which she promptly offer ed to me. Nice - very sweaty guy - walked me to my car and made sure I was happy. Windows clean and they vacuumed between the seat and console which drives me crazy when they miss it. Will definitely be back. The guy at the end told me something about their VIP program - $35 a month all you can eat. Seemed to be too good to be true but he was emphatic that it was a real offer. Maybe next time.

Pros: relatively quick for their top wash, nice staff, current magazines

Cons: bathroom was a little dirty but they were busy, only two inside cleaning options $14 - $20

I just bought a brand new 2007 Acura MDX fully loaded for my wife. To assist me in keeping it clean I decided to purchase a VIP service program from Carolina Auto Spa. Two days before leaving to go on vacation my wife decided to take the car in for a quick wash. Twenty minutes later she comes out with a $4,000.00 worth of damage. The car was finish; she just need to inspect it and leave. For some unknown reason after the person has finished wiping the car down he decided to move the car; there were no where to go but foward. Instead of putting the car into drive to go go forward (the pole and cars was behind him) he put the car in reverse causing the car to back into the pole. Correction he back on top of the pole. We call the Cary police to file a report (there was a person from the Cary Police department watching the entire event). The Cary officer took the report from my wife, the manger on duty and the person that back the car on top of the pole. During the time the Officer was speaking with the person that back the car onto the pole ""are you telling me you do not have a driver License at all (out or in state license). The reply was ""NO"". We ask the manger on duty to call the owner Mr. Karl Murphy the president of Carolina Auto Spa; we like to speak with him about this incident. We did not hear from Mr. Karl Murphy until much later. He did not show up the day of the accident, nor the day after as planed. I stopped by on a number of occasions, he was not available . I finally was able to speak with Mr. Murphy in person (I bump into him at the store when I was leaving him the bill). \r
\r
Mr. Murphy was not sorry about the accident ""that is what insurance is for"", he was very much aware the hiring practice at his business ""hiring of unlicense drivers"". He said it was perfectly legal. His overall attitude was poor, he really does not care about his customers, nor his business practice. If you had damage done to your car ask yourself the question. Why???\r

What separates good businesses from excellent businesses is customer service and Carolina Auto Spa has a lot to learn in this category. I took my car in to be cleaned because I saw that they had very reasonable prices and a good looking facility. The job they did on the car was better than could be expected from an automatic car wash alone, but it was clear that they cut corners. For example, the rags they used on the windows left noticeable streaks and there was a dirty footprint on my carpet after they were done cleaning the car. I also noticed a scratch in my wheel after leaving. It was clear that the scratch was fresh and I am very careful about parking my car, so I decided to speak to the manager. She looked at the wheel and insisted that the car wash would not have scratched the wheel and suggested that I contact a wheel repair company with whom Carolina Auto Spa had a relationship with. I did so and reported back to her what I found out. Given the circumstances, she agreed to pay for the repair, which I appreciated. However, after several weeks I heard nothing more from her, so I attempted to contact her by both phone and e-mail. She did not respond to any of the messages that I left her, so I finally gave up. I think I'll go back to a bucket and a hose in my own driveway from now on.

I usually don't write reviews, but I have to jump in as well about Carolina Auto Spa. I have been a long-time customer of CAS with different cars over the years and the service has always been impeccable...until one day in the spring or summer of 2005. I purchased a wiper blade for the driver's side from CAS and they installed it with no problems...or so I thought. A couple days later as I'm driving down the road while it's raining, I turn on my windshield wipers. As the wiper is coming across my windshield, it flies out towards the traffic before coming back in to the glass. I took it back to CAS and apparently they had broken the arm that the blade sits in. I talked with the manager and they said if I go to the dealership and get it fixed, they will reimburse me with proof of the bill. I did just that and returned to CAS and showed them the bill, where they reimbursed me in cash right out of the cash register. I decided to give them a second chance and have not been disappointed since. No establishment is perfect and CAS will continue to receive my business because they do an outstanding job. I used to go to Bunkey's before I found out about CAS and haven't been to Bunkey's since because CAS does a MUCH better job on your car. Yes, you have to wait, but the wait is well worth it in my opinion. If you were washing your car yourself, wouldn't you take some time to really clean it well? I appreciate the attention to detail that they give to my car and plan to take it there to get it detailed sometime in the near future. I just probably won't buy any more wiper blades :-)

Pros: car is always very clean and will touch-up if they miss a spot while you walk around and check it out

Cons: need more locations!!!

After reading the last response posted for Carolina Auto Spa, I felt the need to wholeheartedly disagree. As a customer of Carolina Auto Spa for the better part of 5 years, and having ""tried"" the so-called ""competition,"" I have determined this IS THE BEST CAR WASH!!!! I have been in the customer service industry for more than 25 years and can honestly say that the service at Carolina Auto Spa is unsurpassed. Not only are all the people friendly and more than willing to go the extra mile to make a customer happy , but the quality, attention to detail, and timely manner in which they deliver their service, puts them on top. The inside waiting is aesthetically pleasing with a play area for the kids, the new drive-thru express wash and the newly installed free vacuums offer speed and convenience at a truly remarkable value, and the detail department is second to none.\r
\r
I seriously doubt anyone will find a better car wash in the area. Carolina Auto Spa has my business and always will. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

I went in on Sunday afternoon, 1/28/07 and paid for the deluxe car wash ($20). After about 30 minutes, I got the car back, but it had not been cleaned nearly to what was advertised. The dashboard had not been dusted *at all*, the front cup holders had not been wiped down *at all*, the insects had not been cleaned from the front of the car, and there was no fragrance applied. I was too rushed to have them work on it for another 30 minutes, so I left. \r
\r
Later that day it rained and snowed. As per CAS's guarantee, I went back on Monday, 1/29/07 for a rewash. I also complained about the cup holders and the insects (I had wiped the dust off myself with my finger, and I didn't care enough to complain about the fragrance).\r
\r
There were only three cars at CAS this time, but the ticketing attendent took more than ten minutes to get to me. He had me go through the carwash and at the other end, handed me off to one of the detailers. As he was explaining the situation to the detailer, he actually rolled his eyes and jerked his head at me. No attempt to even hide it, as I was sitting ten feet away and heard everything he said. I was too shocked to even say anything before he ran off and disappeared.\r
\r
The detailer was done in five minutes. I rolled the car to a parking space and took a look at the job he'd done. The cup holder was cleaner, but still had noticeable dirt around the edges. The insects had been removed from one section, but I could still wipe them off of other sections with just my hand, they were hardly even stuck to the grill. \r
\r
At that point, I gave up. CAS had taken up enough of my time, and I wasn't about to waste anymore on them. I won't ever be back.

Carolina Auto Spa has always been one of the best around. Lately however they have made several changes that made them even better (didn't think it was possible)! Recently they introduced an unlimited wash plan which I quickly signed up for. Now I can go as often as I like for one monthly fee. The full service washes are still worth the wait but if I'm in a hurry I can get an exterior wash and go to the free self serve vacuums at the exit of the wash. I can be in and out in a very short amount of time and I?m still able to have a clean car inside and outside. I haven?t found a better deal anywhere! Keep up the good work!

Got a coupon in the mail - $2.00 off. First visit. Staff was professional and cheery considering...the cold. Took 25 minutes at lunch for the $20 serivce. Nice little girl taking orders tried to sell me the ""special of day"" hand wax for $30...$5 off menu price. I passed on it for now to see how they did. Car was clean. May come back for the free vacuums. Nice option when it gets warmer.

Well, go to this place for a deluxe car wash as long as you do not have to be anywhere for at least an hour. I took my car there on a Tuesday at 11:20pm. I waited in line 12 minutes just to place my order. Then waited another 20 minutes for my car to be put through the automatic car wash. After that I was able to wait another 30 minutes while the attendant alternated between vacuuming my car, cleaning the windows, wiping off the dashboard and center console and drying off other vehicles who paid much less to just get an exterior wash. To top it all off, I ended up being late for an appointment and only an apology followed after inquiring if they were so short handed that it took 1 hour to finish my car. I was in such a rush to leave that I still have not checked the quality of the work. Another piece of advice....Do not take the option of tipping on your credit card, only tip in cash if you do plan on spending the day at this place, and of course only if you think it is appropriate.

Pros: clean exterior

Cons: extremely long wait, poor customer service, no priority given to earlier customers, interior has several places that were missed during cleaning

First of all, it took them almost an hour to perform the basic washing and vacuuming package to my car (which by the way, didn't look like they even vacuumed the back). As I wait patiently on my hour lunch break, cars are starting to line up behind me. The employees aren't rushing around trying to get you out of there quicker but, rather moving slower than ants. Not only did it take FOREVER, but when my car was finally returned to me, the antenna was missing. After questioning the General Manager about the antenna being gone, he found one in the washer that wasn't mine and tried to screw it into a hole where it doesn't belong. I corrected him and asked him to please find MY antenna. He found it and realized that it was ripped off the car then; he offered to replace it free of charge. After I filled out the necessary paperwork and started to walk out the door, he apologized to me. Funny, I would have thought the apology would have been the first thing he had done. So, if you have 2 hours to get your car cleaned and don't mind vital pieces of it missing, please try this place.....

I usually get the $20 wash but was short on time and had a biz mtng right after lunch. Took the $5 express wash. No pushy upsell, just a thanks for stopping in. The advertised 5 minutes was probably 8 but I stayed in the car and on the phone. Nice gal at the end toweled my acura off and I was gone to my meeting with time to spare. Love the new express services

Pros: Express Wash speed and cost

Cons: the inside of the wash was a little dark to ride through

I am new to Raleigh area, so I come online to search for a great place to take care of my car.\r
Auto spa has the highest score and best reviews, and I went there.\r
I went and asked for an express deluxe for my car. The exterior was shining, but there is a big wet dirty footprint on my front white carpet, obviously left by a worker while driving my car to wash -- that could happen to anyone, and I still tip him well. But when I drove out of the parking lot, I found out my left mirror was turned towards the floor for no reason. I had to pull over to adjust the mirror. Almost had an accident!!\r
\r
Despite of the not-so-good experience, I still went for the second time -- since almost all other customers are giving good reviews, maybe it's just me. But the second time is no better. My car was not polish waxed as it was supposed to. I can tell the difference as soon as I arrived home. I do not want to embarrass the receptionist by calling in and shouting at her. So I sent an email, asking how do they take customer complains. No response at all. Now I decided not to go back again.

Hope all is well. Just wanted to let you that we live less than a half mile away from Bunkey's Car Wash on Cary Parkway. Because of your superior service, friendly staff and attention to detail, I drive an extra 10 miles for your high quality service. You have earned a customer for life and I always tell my friends about my positive experiences with CAS. \r

I'm a do-it-yourself kind of guy because I know I do a good job and I know my car is clean. I rarely go to car washes, but these guys impressed me. I was very impressed with how they treated me, the car looked great, and I'll be back for sure.

Pros: Car looks great

Cons: I live far away - they need more locations

For a long time, I was fearful of taking my car to a ""car wash"" since it is black, and I was afraid of getting scratches, etc. One day last November my car needed a bath, but it was TOO COLD outside for me to wash it myself. So I made my way over to CAS. My car pulled out looking like it had just been driven off the dealership lot again. They did a phenomenal job, and I was delighted! \r
\r
They have a variety of packages, and no matter which you purchase (even the cheapest one), they hand-dry your vehicle (a big deal if you have a dark-colored car!). Depending on the package, some even have a free re-wash if it rains within several days. After I took my car here, I realized I could never get my car to look as good as they did. :) Skip that sub-par wash at the gas station and get a REAL car wash for the same price! It's worth the drive.

Pros: Variety of package pricing (starts at $4.99); friendly, helpful, and professional staff.

Cons: Can be VERY busy evenings/weekends, so you'll have to wait a bit (worth it though!).

I have used Carolina Auto Spa for years. They are th most professional car wash you will find. Clearly the ownership is dedicated to quality and customer service.

I recently had my Black Porsche 911 fully detailed after another detail shop did a poor job. Carolina did an incredible job on a very difficult car to detail at a lower price. I will never go anywhere else

I was in the neighborhood a few weeks ago, and I tried this car wash, though it is not my regular choice. My car wash was average, and the attendants didn't seem very attentive. The waiting area was crowded and cluttered, and I had to wait quite a while, though they were not especially busy. I also noticed the restroom seems to be unisex...kind of a turnoff for me.

Just went to the AutoSpa after reading a couple of the review here, and it was a great experience! Being a Real Estate agent, my car's apperance is important, and they really made it shine! The free WiFi service is awesome; I could respond to my clients and search the MLS while I waited. Most places charge, but not the AutoSpa. Great service, I'll definately be coming back!
