It is indeed the best bbq I have ever eaten. My wife are are eastern Carolinians by birth and know good when we taste it. There are a lot of false claims about easter NC bbq but Hog Heaven stands the test. We often will make a special trip from VA just to eat there and when we go home we always follow the route that leads to Hog Heaven. Keep up the good work!
Very good BBQ and very reasonable prices. I went there last week with a friend and got the BBQ special through the drive-thru. We had leftovers for 3 meals, and we only spent around $10. I recommend the brunswick stew... yummy!
a nice resturant and one of the few bbq places that serve yummy collards, the food is good and the staff friendly.
I have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about. Hog Heaven has the best barbecue ever, it is worth every penny you give. If you receive something not up to par, let them know they will fix it for you. The owner used to be a close friend of mine is one of the friendliest people i have ever known!
The food will do, but the prices are VERY high for what you get! I also received a rotten cake once after paying nearly $3 for one slice. Next time I'll go to Parkers!
