Our cat rescue Alley Cats and Angels has used Magnolia for about four years now and all the vets there have been knowledge, kind, caring, and taken very good care of our rescues. I recommend all the vets there, however, we have come to use one particular vet due to her above and beyond approach to caring for the cats. We have taken her quite a few cats with unique health situations and she will do whatever it takes to find the correct diagnosis and treat the cat research, call in specialist, reading the latest studies, online research, etc. Dr. Teresa repaired a prolapsed rectum of manx rescue kitten that two other vet clinics hadnt been able to help, she researched and was honest with us that it was not a surgery that she had done but there was a new purse string surgery she wanted to try and it worked. When many of our cats were getting stress stomach after being in the adoption center, Dr. Teresa recommended that we put fiber and probiotics on their food every day when they are in the center it has helped immensely. She is very responsive and always contacts us with findings, diagnosis, and makes herself very available to answer questions. I highly recommend Dr. Teresa.

I have nothing but good things to say about Magnolia Animal Hospital and Dr Teresa. As a volunteer for a feline rescue group she has treated many of my foster kittens. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and always patiently takes the time to answer all my questions. Whenever there is a particularly sick kitty in the group, Dr. Teresa is the vet we prefer. Magnolia is also the most affordable animal hospital in Raleigh, but you still get quality care. Highly recommended!

Dr. Teresa is amazing.

I've been going to Magnolia for over 12 years with various vets, have always loved them. But want to comment specifically on Dr. Teresa and the excellent care I feel she provides. I volunteer with a local animal rescue and when we started using Dr. Teresa for care on many of our pets it really changed things for us. She has gone out of her way to research some of the very unique cases we have brought to her, finding resources in specialty vets, online studies and so on. And in doing so managed to save animals in our program that truly had the odds stacked against them. Her approach to veterinary medicine, combining research into the latest studies, techniques, treatments and medicines with some holistic treatments as well is refreshing. It has saved us money and most importantly, saved lives. She has worked with us to establish several protocols we use with all of our animals that help keep them happy and healthy - from probiotics in our food (to help with fecal issues) to l-lysine supplements (to help manage feline herpes). She even managed to surgically repair the prolapsed rectum of a manx kitten that two other vet hospitals had written off -where they didn't find an easy answer, Dr. Teresa did more research, contacted additional specialists and gave us what no one else had - an option. And it worked! She follows up with us on the pets that she has seen and when we do drop off appointments, calls the same day to review findings and options. We've never had to wait for responses or advice. I now take my personal pets to see Dr. Teresa! You couldn't ask for a better or more dedicated vet!

I leaving this review bc this hospital is by far the best. I have never ben to an institution as friendly and as postive at Magnolia Animal Hospital. Although i just started bringing my cat here ( 3 visists total) i will say this place is a breathe of fresh air from her previous vet. They truly love the animals. I honestly thought a place as nice as this was going to be very expensive especially considering what i needed done for my cat. He previous Vet charged us $300 just to sedate her and give her a urine test. But her they did a whole line a treatment and surgery and even a followup at such a reasonable price. Plus my cat seems much more at ease whenever i pick her up. I love this place and as my headline states it is truly a blessing to founs ppl and doctors that car for your pet and their well being and not just money!! MAGNOLIA ANIMAL HOSPITAL CONTINUE TO DO WHAT YOU DO AND I WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT AND REFER!!!

My dog died, when I took him to have his teeth cleaned. It's been six months, and I've never been so lonely. I lost my best friend. In giving this review, I can not give one star, because that would not be fair to the vet hospital. After all, things happen. Likewise, I can not give five stars, because that would not be true. After all, I did not have a wonderful experience. Or, I should say, my dog did not have a wonderful experience. So, I am settling on the fair score of 3 stars. The middle of the road.

But, I want to share my story of the love of my life first and how we came to be. I adopted Buddy from the Wake County Animal shelter about 8.5 years ago, when he was approximately 2 years old. Buddy was the best thing that ever happened to me. Buddy ended up sleeping with me, every night. He would wait for me, outside the bathroom while I took a shower. He would lay with me on the couch. Buddy also had seizures. Buddy needed me and I needed him. He was completely house broken and always, always went outside to do his business. I would kiss Buddy goodbye, every single morning, before I walked out the door, to go to work. And the first thing I would look for, when I walked in the door from work, was Buddy. He was always there to greet me.

Buddy had previously had a dental cleaning before and things went well. However, this last time (July 18th, 2011) things did not go well. Long story short, after the cleaning, his heart just stopped. They did try to revive him, to no avail. I was devastated. I was unable to go pick him up that day. My husband had to. We were charged for the cleaning, since (per the Vet) that went well. But, they did not charge us for anything else. So, that day, my husband walked out with my child (the vet carried him out in a bag) and he paid $130.00. That afternoon, I saw the collar and leash that I had used earlier that morning, when I took Buddy in. Only this time, this time, there was no dog attached.

My heart is still broken. I feel dead inside. My dog was not just a pet. Not just a family member. My dog was my life. He loved and needed me and I loved and needed him. Buddy was smothered in love. I loved that dog more than I can even explain. I am empty inside and lost. At night, there is nothing laying against my back, not anymore. I see our bed and it's empty. Much like my heart.

I know dogs die EVERY DAY of dental cleanings. I'm well aware of that. Dogs can be absolutely, 100% healthy, go in for a cleaning and die. Dogs can be older, go in for a cleaning and make it through! It's a gamble. Likewise, every precaution can be taken prior to a dental cleaning (blood work, etc) and that can come back fine, in the normal ranges, showing nothing remarkable. The dog can still die on the table. Why? Just because. It happens. I had wanted to wait a while to share my story, and now I have. There is one thing I have in my memory bank of that day, that makes me feel good. The morning I took Buddy in, I got down on my knees, hugged, petted and kissed him. Told him I loved him so much and I'd be back soon to pick him up. I got up and the girl started to take him away. I stopped her. I got down again, on my knees and repeated what I'd just done: Kissed him, rubbed him and told him how much I loved him. Then, I got up again. And, while I was at the counter, filling out the paperwork, I looked. And I watched, for the last time, as my Buddy was walking away from me.....He never turned back.

I didn't realize how imperfect life was, until I lost you Buddy, and saw how perfect life had been. I love you. Mama loves you and will always love you. See you in my dreams, sweet friend.

We've been dealing with Magnolia for our fur babies health needs for MANY years now. I don't even recall how many. It started out that we felt like our previous vet was overcharing us (badly) so a dear friend suggested Magnolia and said they were reasonably priced and good all around. We've found that to be true and then some.\r\n\r\nWe've had all kinds of issues with our pets since we've been going to Magnolia, we lost a Beagle to congestive heart failure, they were supportive in every way they could possibly be seeing to it that it wasn't a hassle when we needed to refill her medications.\r\n\r\nOne of our kitties needed to have a tumor removed and now cats are not always the easiest patients but my little guy was and when I would call to check up on him they just ranted and raved about what a great patient he was. When we were getting our discharge instructions he stalked around the room like he owned the place, no worse for the wear.\r\n\r\nWe had another beagle that we'd adopted from the shelter and when we did we knew he had heartworms. We were able to sucessfully treat him for the worms but it was too late and he had permanent lung damage that caused him to suceptible to any infection at all and he had been in ICU at the CVM at NCState 6 mos ago, we took him back there for this most recent event and we wound up having to put him down. The attending vet at NC State said she would call Magnolia and let them know and the following week we received the sweetest sympathy card from them.\r\n\r\nI can't trim my dogs toenails because they have a phobia about it and it just makes me just as worked up as they are so I always get magnolia to do it. I'm not much of an appointment person because I'm just not good with time. I will be late to my own funeral but Magnolia has never given me a hard time about it. They always work me in at the last minute for random things, including filling Rxs. I remember once I had my little Shih zu in just before Christmas and we saw Dr. Jon and he before we left ""be sure to tell x (my husband) & x (my l'il aforementioned beagle) I said Merry Christmas."" \r\n\r\nThe building itself isn't much, but it's spacious and clean and the staff is always very nice, helpful, easy to work with, and caring. I don't feel like I've been robbed when I leave there...and so if you need anything more than that then you just can't be pleased.

Amazing, an affordable Vet in Raleigh. I have heard so many people complain about Vet prices being so high in Raleigh. I asked a friend who works for the SPCA if they could recommend an affordable Vet and she suggested Magnolia. After checking City Search and reading the great reviews I decided to give them a shot even thought they are pretty far from my house. I must say that they exceeded my expectations in all categories. I was also very happy that they diagnosed my dog with anxiety issues that have been gradually getting worse with age and with medication he is back to his old self. P.S. Dr. Theresa is great.

Pros: Very reasonable prices, very nice staff

Cons: A little run down looking on the outside, but nice inside

I have a 3 year old Maltese and I honestly have to say he is my world (sad, but true). His name is Dustbunny and he recently had to have surgery to correct a luxating patella- I was with a different vet when Dustbunny was diagnosed with this common issue. I was very worried until I came across this wonderful place. I made sure to meet and take Dusty to see Dr. Jon before I would even schedule his surgery. Not only is Dr. Jon wonderful but also Dr. Jon put me at ease and explained the procedure and answered my many questions about the surgery!! He is the best vet ever!! The surgery went super well and Dusty was running and jumping after only one week!! It was like a miracle!! I'm super happy and now I only trust this place with my little furball. Also their prices are excellent, I paid this place less than half of what my old vet was charging me for it! I hope Dr. Jon doesn't ever leave this hospital. Highly recommended- the staff is very friendly too!

Pros: The best service, great prices

First off, let me express my condolences to the previous writer who lost her dog. I am sorry to hear about your experience and that you lost a member of your family. \r\n\r\nHowever, I am writing this review, as unlike the previous writer, I have experienced the exact opposite with Dr. Teresa. We recently switched to Magnolia Animal Hospital for our 7 year old dachshund. Dr. Teresa was the first doctor we saw back in January. Our dog was sick and has since been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Disease. As tramatic has it has been to see my dog sick and not know what to do, Dr. Teresa has been an angel. She has been very thorough in her treatment, research and diagnosis for our dog. She has always had my dog's health concern as one of her top priorities. Whenever, I have called due to a concern or to follow up, she has taken the time to discuss in detail our dog's case and has always acted in a very professional manner. The times I have come to the office to pickup a medication, she has greeted me at the front and spoken to me face to face about the care and treatment needed for our dog without an appointment. One of the reasons we left our prior veterinarian was due to the lack of compassion and personal attention. I can honestly say that Dr. Teresa has gone above and beyond my expectations and has been honest, upfront and knowledgeable about our dog's medical condition and treatment. The doctors at Magnolia work as a team and like most professionals, discuss their cases together. At one point, I was concerned about some new symptoms our dog was experiencing and had to call in when Dr. Teresa was not working and spoke to Dr. Jon. He was aware of my dog's case and was in agreement with everything that Dr. Teresa has been doing for her. In addition to the help that Dr. Teresa has been providing for my dog, the staff at Magnolia has been wonderful as well. I truly do feel like they care about the health and well being of my dog and want the very best for her. They are a compassionate group of professionals and I am happy to call their practice and Dr. Teresa our veterinarian. \r\n\r\n

I have been a customer of Magnoiia Animal Hospital for 12 years. I can't get over how affordable they are and how much they love my pets. We had to put my dog down 2 years ago and Dr. Jon cried almost as hard as I did. I couldn't believe how compassionate he was. He even came out to the car so Taylor could die in a comfortable place. There were even 2 or 3 staff members outside in the parking for support. \r\n\r\nThey are not out to make tons of money...they want to help animals. I was so impressed to hear that a lot of the rescue groups go to Dr. Jon because of his prices and he is so generous to the homeless animal population. \r\n\r\nI have a hard time believing the negative reviews. They are wonderful!!!!

I wanted to advise and express my thoughts on an incident that occured at Magnolia this weekend. My dog Frosty has been under constant care with Dr Jon he has been wonderful and sympathetic to our dogs needs. On Saturday February 27th we called the hospital for help as we noticed our dog was sluggish and had vomited dark coffee like grounds and her stool was dark. \r\n\r\nWhen calling Teresa was the vet on duty as Jon was off...thats where it all went bad,,,we explained all these symptoms in detail and she said your dog has a bleeding ulcer and she just needs certain meds I will prescribe and she will be better in 3-5 days. She was in a hurry to get off thr phone..Teresa had seen our dog on 2 occassions and was aware of her previous history. \r\nWe got the meds 30mins later and started to administer them as told. By night time the dog was weak and stumbeling and could not settle down.\r\nWe told our dog be patient we know your sick and your meds will kick in. Well later that night the dog has a seizure then went into like a coma state...When we tired talking to her she took her last breath as were on the phone with emergency help and died. When she died she discharged about 3 pints of blood from her stomach. We still rushed her to the emergency center and they confirmed she was dead.\r\n\r\nTeresa should have asked us to bring the dog in, Teresa should have told us sighns to look for, Teresa should have asked us what her face looked like as she was jawndess in eyes and mouth..When the dog died and we told them aboutst what Teresa did they almost admitted error rigth there...bottom line Teresa needs to stop practicing medicine.\r\nCould my dog have been saved, we truly think so as when we called the dog was not that ill.\r\nThank you for reading.\r\n\r\nLinda A. Cameron\r\n\r\nThe dog was 2 yrs 4 months old in great shape and her liver values were almost perfect.\r\nMy dog died due to her neglect, she has only been there 2 years and we will never ever go back. Jon was on vacation thats how we got bad advice.Apparently she was busy and wanted to get out early as she is balancing her schedule.\r\nIf anyone reading this ever ever get's Teresa run away don't let her look at your animal..If anyone ever see's any red in stool or vomit take your dog in, don't let them push you away like us.\r\n\r\nIf anyone else had a problem with her I want to hear it. Of course we will take this as far as we can but it feels good to put it in writing here.\r\nWe will no longer take our pets there as we may get caught again with Teresa and I can't allow another family member to die under her care.\r\nWe truly think Frosty could have been saved.\r\n\r\nThank you \r\nLinda Cameron

I have been taking my dogs to Magnolia for a couple of years. During this time they have always treated me and my dogs like best friends. My dogs would dance outside the door to go into the hospital.\r\n Recently, I lost one of my babies in a very traumatic situation. When I got to Magnolia, I was in shock, there was nothing that could be done to save him. The staff began to cry with me. their main concern then was to ensure I got home safely and had someone to take care of me. I wanted an autopsy done, John Dean (worried about me drivind) insisted on taking the body to the autopsy center! He went after work on his own time and I was never charged!!!\r\n I would never want to experience this again, but I thank God I had the help I had to get through it. \r\n I think it is reckless that people use the internet to post very negative comments when they are getting a small picture of what goes on in a business!!! Magnolia's lobby is always busy, people always seem happy and most important - the animals alwys get the love and respect from the staff.

Pros: Staff, Care,

John Dean (partner) handles his situations poorly and is not compassionate about your pets. Our dogs are our ""KIDS"". John Dean did not make us feel like our dogs were #1 priority while boarded with Magnolia.\n\nDr. Jon is very good. Wish he was at another center

I will NEVER take any of my 4-legged children to see anyone other than Dr Jon - unless it's one of the other staff at Magnolia Animal Hospital!!! I've been taking my dogs there for almost 10 years and would follow Dr Jon anywhere. He has helped us to make the difficult decision to put 2 of my dogs to sleep over the years and was nothing but respectful, understanding, and supportive. My 2 dogs now love going to see Dr Jon and the rest of the staff at Magnolia and that's saying a lot when one of them has received a monthly shot for the past 51/2 years! My ""baby"" was diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia at 6 months however, because of the care that he gets from Dr Jon and staff; he continues to run and jump and doesn't appear to know he should be in pain and unable to walk. Other vets might have recommended putting him down or surgery that wouldn't have improved his quality of life, but based on the X-rays would have made sense... Dr Jon gets to know the personalities of his patients and their families and treats everyone with the utmost respect. There has been a fair amount of turnover in the last few years, both of vets and office staff; but I don't know of many places where this hasn't been the case. New staff have a learning curve and need to be given time to ""get up to speed"", but when you're a frequent visitor they quickly get to know you and your pet and are caring and attentive. I have (and will continue) recommended Magnolia Animal Hospital to friends, family, and neighbors over the years and can only hope that every 4-legged family member would have the opportunity to receive the love and care that mine do from Dr Jon and the rest of the staff at Magnolia Animal Hospital!!!!

Dr. Jon is the best. We have taken our dog here for the past 7 years, and couldn't be happier. They are reasonably priced, compared to other vets in the area, and they have a friendly and caring staff, every visit, every phone call.

Magnolia Animal Hospital is the best in town. Not only have I recomended it to many people, but I have literally put my dog's life in their hands on THREE seperate occasions. My dog had parvo as a puppy and was hospitalized for a week. Dr. Jon and his staff did an amazing job nursing him back to health. They cared for Murphy like he was one of their own. At a year and a half he suffered an ACL tear. In addition to having to repair the tear, they had to stop his kneecap from. dislocating. I was allowed to go into the operating room with Murphy AND I waited in the back room with a very comfortable couch and privacy. They brought Murphy to me while he woke up. A year and a half later he tore the other ACL. Again, he received the same surgery and I received the same curtosy. \r\n\r\nWe have been with the office for almost 6 years now. Dr. Jon and his staff care about the animals they treat as if they were their own AND keep their costs lower than other clinics. They do not jack up prices. They are reasonable and very respectful.

i want to start off with the comment left below. I am SO AMAZED THAT YOU SIT THERE SAYING OUR PETS ARE OUR FAMILY AND YOU WANT THE BEST CARE FOR THEM ...then you go and get your cat DECLAWED. who are you to do that. god didnt put them on this earth to have their nails ripped out. you seem like you have high standards that even you cant handle. so you put the responsability on everyone else. well come back down from your cloud and back to reality. I would never leave my dog/cat at a vet for however many days ""so they get the best care"" bulls***! \r\n\r\nAs for this hospital i have been to 3 vets down here. my dog started limping so i rushed her to quails corners. well the doctor had no idea what he was doing... i ordered for x-rays because i wanted to make sure everything was ok. first it was one thing then another. then he tells us to get a second opinion...um hello. where did you get your license from? then i went to this place in wake forest that was RAVED ABOUT. I FORGOT THE NAME BUT THEY DONT EXCEPT CREDIT CARDS. WELL THIS GUY COMES IN THROwS MY DOG ON THE TABLE.. TELLS ME WHATS WRONG WITH HER... THEN IS ABOUT TO GIVE HER A SHOT WITHOUT TELLING ME WHAT IT WAS. I STOPPED HIM AND ASKED WHAT ARE YOU DOING.. HE STOPS AND SAYS IM GIVING HER A THORIZINE SHOT(CANT SPELL IT) TO STOP THE SWELLING... NOW CAN I GO BACK TO PLAYING DOCTOR(YOU CAN IMAGINE MY RESPONSE) I WAS SO UPSET i searched again hoping to find a vet to take care of her. i came across magnolia animal hospital. never in my life came aross such a wonderful doctor(Dr. Jon) hes awesome.he takes care of both my dogs now. my dog recently got spayed by him and she came back home and slept for a day .. then acted like herself the next. i couldnt believe it. they did an awesome job. finding a good vet is hard.and if you want a doctor that cares and knows what hes doing GO HERE. for everyone else who declaws their cats and then leaves them at the vet ""to have the best care"" go to quail corners.

Being a discernable pet owner, I started taking my pets to Magnolia Hospital after reading such fantastic reviews. The first few years taking my animals to this vets was a very exceptional experience. The front staff were friendly and well trained and the veterinarians really seemed to know their stuff. That pretty much came to a screeching halt this past year.\r\n\r\nFirst of all, I brought my cat in for his 3 year rabies shot only to find out that they gave him a one year shot (not what I had asked for). \r\n\r\nSecondly, I recently had to put another cat down. This was quite a traumatic experience for me and you would think a good animal hospital would have the good sense to show some compassion. This definitely was not the case. When I first went into the vets the receptionist was going to take me down to an examination room. I had to inform her that my cat was being put down. She admitted not reading the chart. When I went back a few days later to pick up the ashes, I had to wait in the lobby for 10 minutes being totally ignored. When finally someone waited on me, they were going to charge me for a second time for the cremation. The receptionist also handed me the ashes without even an ""I'm so sorry for you loss...if you ever need anything, let us know."" I mean good God, I just lost a part of my family and they didn't even acted as if they cared!\r\n\r\nPersonally, I am not going to patron an animal clinic that doesn't treat their clientelle with respect, dignity, or compassion! Please just pass this animal hospital by. They may have been fantastic before, but they are slowly going down hill fast. If I could rate them with 0 stars, beleive me, I would.

Dr. Jon is the best!! While veterinary care is expensive everywhere, our pets are worth it. Magnolia is very reasonable, call around and check. The quality of medicine Dr. Jon and his staff practice is great. The practice is people friendly and pet LOVING!!

My first experience with Magnolia Animal Hospital was great although it was over two years ago. Expecting the same quality and care, I decided to bring my new cat for a visit based on my first experience, but I guess that was great expectations on my part. I dropped my cat off for his neuter and declaw procedure on May 27, 2008. I boarded my cat through June 3, 2008, because I wanted him to have the best care and supervision during his time of healing. When I picked him up the staff told me everything was great, my cat was adorable, and that I was all set. You would think that after hearing all of these great comments and having your cat cared for, a week longer than required, you wouldn?t have a lot of reasons to be concerned about your cat?s health. Well, I came home with my cat, and his front right paw was split open just waiting for infection to set in. How come no one noticed this or informed me of this? Anyway, I took my cat to a different hospital this morning where I?m sure he?ll get the treatment he should have had the first time. There are a few other comments I could make about this experience, but that would be overkill. For a lot of us, our pets are our kids and I just wanted to alert anyone considering taking their kid too Magnolia Animal Hospital, to think long and hard about their decision.

I have been going to Magnolia animal since May 1999 shortly after they opened. We've been there longer then most or almost the entire staff excluding Dr. Jon. With Dr. Jon, the vet techs, kennel and office staff I have always had a great experience with them and so has my animals. I've referred him to many people. Dr. Jon loves his job and is devoted. He is practical and does what he feels is in the best interest of your ""family member"" but is considerate of the owners feelings as well. His staff is wonderful. I never have to worry if I have a concern they will have Dr. Jon call back or get me in to see him. I have had many animals through the years 3 dogs, 3 horses and a cat. Dr. Jon is the first vet I came to when I moved to Raleigh and I was impressed with him and Nikki for their love of animals. Dr. Jon will get on the floor and sit with your dog and respect their personalities as well. He is the first vet I have known to do this. My animals love going there. I say to them ""Do you want to go see Dr. Jon"" immediately the dogs are at the door waiting to go for a ride. They run in there with their tails wagging. The staff knows your animals name. (Especially if you have to go there often). I give Magnolia a five star because I have been there almost 10 yrs and Dr. Jon's philosophy and dedication is what makes this place a wonderful place to go. Also, the dogs and cat love to stay there in the kennel. I consider the staff part of our family because they know our animals so well. There are other vets there working with Dr. Jon as well. Thanks for being so wonderful to our family.

Pros: Kennel pick up on sunday, hours, dedication, exam rooms always clean

We started taking our cats to Magnolia in 2004 after reading such great online reviews. The vet staff is great. Very knowledgeable. We have had two cats die of FIP and the staff were very helpful and caring. They sent us cards with signatures and notes from all the staff. I never have trouble making an appointment however, I haven't seen Dr. Jon in over a year. I'm not saying he isn't available but I think he's in high demand. Dr. Stephanie and Dr. Allison are great too! The only reason why I gave four stars instead of five is because of the innefficient office staff. Too often I have taken one pet in for a shot or an exam and then a month later I get a notice that the same pet or another of my pets is due for another shot. The exam isn't expensive but if you have multiple animals and you are constantly taking them to the vet, it adds up. It might be due to high turnover. I hardly see the same office help more than twice. I will keep going to Magnolia because like I said, the vets are great, but I'm still going to bring up my dissatisfaction every time I have to bring in my pets repeatedly.

We had been taking our basset hound, Fred to Dr. Jon and his staff for 7 years. From the first day we walked in, we felt like we were family. The time came to put Fred down this past week, and we have never seen a more caring group, that cared so much for the comfort and well-being of a pet and their family as dr. Jon and his staff were.\r\nFor a procedure that would normally take a few minutes, took well over an hour, as it was of the utmost importance that Fred be as comfortable as possible in his last moments. During this time, not once did Dr. Jon leave the room (Which was as nice of an atmosphere you could have for putting a family member to sleep). After the procedure was complete, Dr. Jon hugged both my wife and I, and told us to take as much time as needed to say our goodbye's.\r\nA week has passed, and we received a card in the mail. Inside the card did not only did the entire staff sign the card, but they also said a few words in Fred's honor. This meant so much to us, more than words can say.\r\nWe intend to adopt another dog soon, and will return to Magnolia Animal Hospital, as you could not ask more from a Veterinarian's office.

Cons: None whatsoever

I have had several animals and several vets. Not completely satisified with any of them. My son had taken his big old Rottwheiler to Magnolia and was very pleased. I decided I would give them a try when the time came for my little min pinschers (Gigi) next visit. Well it came sooner then later. She was very sick and dehydrated so I called and they got us in immediately even though she had never been seen here. They took very good care of both of us. The whole staff was very helpful and caring. They let me know exactly what was going on, why they were doing what they were doing. Dr. Allison was EXCELLENT. I carried my dog in and she walked out an hour later. The cost was surprisingly low for this emergency. Then to top it off, I got a call from the doctor to see how she was doing the next day. Then Gigi even got a little post card in the mail. HOW COOL! \r\nTheir motto is they care for our animal as if it is their own. This is very true! Highly recommend them to anyone.

We had used several local vets since moving to Raleigh from CA, and after visiting Magnolia Animal Hospital, our search was over. The entire staff has always been caring and ensures that our pets' needs are well met. All of our dogs' care has been entrusted to Magnolia, as well as the occasional boarding. After the passing of our oldest dog, we received several communications from the entire staff at Magnolia, which we will always remember.\r\nVisit the facilities and ask questions. I hope you will find them as helpful as we have.

We have a dog and a cat, and after visiting vets in TX, MA, and NC, Magnolia is HANDS DOWN the best. Dr. Jon and staff really care about the pets they treat and make a point to get to know their humans too. On a recent visit I mentioned to the staff that my husband and I had adopted a child, and what did I get in the mail two days later? A congratulatory card from Magnolia. Our pets are members of our family, and when it comes to their care, there is no one I have more confidence and trust in than the staff at Magnolia.

Pros: everything except location

Cons: Capital Blvd is a pain to drive, but worth it for Magnolia!

We have had to have our dog in a kennel several times this past year and this only place that we would leave her. The staff is so caring and gives my dog lots of attention. You should feel totally comfortable leaving your animal there.

I take both my 2 year old cat and 1 year old lab/boxer mix to Magnolia for all of their shots and check-ups and they always get phenomenol care without costing a fortune. I came to trust the staff so much at Magnolia Animal Hospital that I began boarding my dog there whenever I go out of town. She has stayed there several times for as long as two weeks and I never have to feel guilty. The staff takes such good care of her that she is always excited to go back! They even took her picture with Santa over the holidays and send her home wearing scarves for the different seasons. You won't find better care anywhere in the triangle and the prices are lower than most of the competition.

I cant say enough good things about Dr John and his staff. We have four dogs all in different life stages and needless to say the older ones take a lot of love and care. All of our dogs are considered family and are treated as such by us and Dr Jon Dick and his staff.\nEveryone there is sensitive to our needs and to our dogs well being. They give \n110 % and seem to know that we are trying to make our financial resources go a long way when it comes to medical care for our pets. I recommend Magnolia HIGHLY to anyone in need of knowledgeable, professional, affordable and caring veterinary practice .

I've had wonderful service from Magnolia Animal Hospital. Thanks to Dr. John Dick and staff members for all of their support and care they gave to our family member Rocky. Rocky was put to rest in February, 2005. We have had Rocky as a part of our family since 1993. It was the hardest thing in the world to go through the process of loosing a life long friend and pet but through the education, love, and understanding we received from everyone we know that Rocky is at peace and no longer in pain. We will miss him terribly but when we do decide to adopt another family member we will return to Magnolia for excellent care.

I have had two cats and 2 black labs that have all been seen at Magnolia Animal Hospital. After moving to Raleigh, I had such a hard time finding vets that didn't rip me off and also cared for my animals. The staff and vets at Magnolia are fantastic. It is obvious they all love what they are doing, and they build wonderful rapport with my pets. The prices are reasonable, too. I was quite pleasantly surprised with the low cost, high-quality care my pets received. I only have good things to say about this veternarian - they'll even email you reminders of upcoming shots for your pets. I am grateful to have found them in Raleigh.
