We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at UPPS. Our children blossomed both socially and creatively because of the teachers, the curriculum and the great group of children and parents at the preschool. The teachers are all so energetic, compassionate, kind and SO much fun. The daily activities were always organized, engaging and varied -- they loved going to school and eagerly anticipated upcoming events and learning units. Our daughter went from the 5s class into 1st grade and transitioned really well because of the strength of the program and the teachers' focus on improving socialization skills. Our son was largely comforted through the 3s class and was able to really engage with his friends in the 4s class through well-directed, high energy activities. Love, love the teachers!!

What a fabulous preschool! Both my children had wonderfully positive experiences at University Presbyterian Preschool. The teachers are the true strength of the preschool. They are an amazingly creative group who clearly invest significant time and effort planning and preparing myriad activities and lessons year to year. The teachers are also an energetic bunch. Whether on the floor in the classroom playing blocks or outside on the playground chasing the children for a game of tag, the teachers were always engaged and interacting with the children in their play. Above all, the staff is a caring and nurturing group who really knew and understood my children. Both my son and daughter were always eager to go to ??school? each morning and I credit the UPPS staff for the positive attitude both have about school today.

I find them to be ok, they are nothing really special for the price that they charge. A lot of the people that they have caring for the kids are too old to be able to play with the kids and give them the attention that they need. The snacks served here are not satisfactory to my diet, they are not healthy. My son had a real issue when he went here, he would cry for hours after I left him there. They often allow the kids to go outside on the playground in the winter without proper clothing, ie no gloves or hats and my son has often gotten a cold this way. They also seem to let the kids run around outside way too much, especially in the winter time when it is too cold for them to be out there for a long period of time.

PROS: price is affordable
CONS: dont take care of the kid's health

My husband and I recently visited University Presbyterian Church and were pleased with the people that we met. It was a good size, not too big or small. This was a formal service, with hymns being sung and communion was offered. The message was well delivered and engaging. We received a letter after our visit from the minister welcoming us back. Our visit was a good experience and we will go back for another service.
