I have been a professional hairdresser for 38 years,been a customer as long as you have been in my area. I was between customers in my shop on 5/14/09 making a quick trip to "Sally" on S.Holden for one hair color. As I went into the store no one was up front. A truck driver was in the back and I could hear them talking. I got my color and several other things including perms which were on sale. When I ask if someone would please ring me up,she checked me out. She seemed anxious to get back to her truck driver friend. When I got to the beauty shop I looked at my receipt noticing that I was charged for 7 colors and I did not get my sale price on the perms. I immediately called,she said bring your things back and I will take care of it. Later that day I took the things back,she seemed incompetent (this was the same lady that checked me out that morning and the same that I talked with by phone)Thank God there was another girl there, she tried to help with the situtation. She had put in the wrong sku for the perms,reason I didn't get the sale and had hit the 7 instead of 1 for the color.I was there for quiet a long time( they called the manager,they did not seem to know what they were doing) She said they could give me a gift card for the monies I said that would be fine. Then they noticed on the receipt I had written a check,she said ,oh I can't do anything now you come back on May 29 and we will take care of it. I said it is on the same day so could you void the ck. and I will put it on a charge card. They said no. I also said now when I come back will you know I did not get the hair color. They said they would make a note of it for the manager and promised me I would have no problem. Yesterday on June 2 I returned
